I've already posted in another thread on Good Customer Service, so I won't restate here. But I will mention one bad experience I had recently. That experience was with Reality Kings. I was getting partial downloads, whether using my DL manager or just down straight saves to my disk. I would get the first 60-100 megs downloaded, then it would stop. I thought it was my Vista OS. I contacted them several times and they were completely indifferent to my trouble. They did end up refunding my membership, but now they keep sending me spam to join their site and other sites they promote. Needless to say, there are too many good sites out there to put up with bad customer service. | |

I've had great customer service from Video Box. It seems that Alison there is very in tuned with the massive membership they have. That's a big reason why they are Number One in most reviewers posts. I've also had good CS from ZTOD. They helped me employ my DL manager. Other than that, I've not used Customer Service very much until I cancelled. | |

I use primarily Firefox for video downloads. Their DL manager, DownThemAll, is compatible with more video sites than other DL Mgrs I've used. It speeds up the DL and allows for full control of the number of DLs you want. I do not use Firefox if I want to DL photos though because it will actually slow down that process. I use Internet Explorer for that, as it allows for instant DL of the photo to the drive. After reading these replies, I think I need to try out a couple of other browsers. Thanks for the help. | |
