I visited my nearby computer store that built my last computer with the intention of buying a new one because old one is running out of memory and is seven years old. The tech looked up the information on my existing computer and suggested just getting some upgrades because I have a good system. He says to add 2g to my ram and go with the Explorer 7. To increase the size of my memory, he recommends an external drive with one terabyte. It adds up to about $300. Anyone every go this direction when you need more from your computer? Being a science fiction fan I have a number of DVD's that enter this realm. I don't like the parodies all that much, but I do have "Deep Space 69", that is not really a parody, where it looks like they had an actress put on a fishnet body suit and then gave her a light spray of some dark color. Not a bad effect. She appears to have scales. I also have "Porn Stars from Mars", where they sprayed on so much green, not sure what they used, it cracked during performance and ruined the effect. One can only guess what body ornamentation will be next. Here in Milwaukee it was not legal to have tattoo parlors until about twenty years ago and now they flourish all over the city. A lot of these parlors brought in piercing experts that will poke a hole in and part of your body, and I have seen some serious body piercing. I'm not against tattoos. Some women I have known have attractive tattoos on their arms, chest and back. I prefer soft colors and natural designs over dark barbwire bands. I can see skin color happening. Not to dark, but maybe pale shades to highlight certain areas. Not Much different then getting your body covered in tattoos. People already go to tanning salons,so what is the next step from that? I was getting a lot of popups on my old XP and the final solution was returning to my default settings on my Mazilla Firefox. I would ask each site what they are willing to offer. As others have pointed out, some want to see different aspects of their material, so a discussion as to what may be the best scene or portions of would work from them is where to begin. Who do they want to attract? I prefer photos and would like to see a couple from the beginning of a set, a couple from the middle, and then a couple near the end. But I may not be the more common customer. Others may prefer to see the hardcore with out any lead in. It may take some experimentation to see what attracts people to their style of porn. I have opted out before a second month, with no difficulties, several times. Most often it was because the content was not what I had hoped for. Most often I go to sites that have been around for some time and not only have the content I enjoy, but the quality. In those cases I will often stick around for a few months or even get a whole year because of the discount. The whole year is something I very seldom do. Most sites don't have the kind of volume that warrants the cost. Two or three months is all I need to download what I want. If a site has the content I want, but not the quantity, I will wait for them to grow, hoping they down close down before I join. I can't imagine porn disappearing entirely. The cream will float to the top. I'm guessing networks like DDF will out last most niche sites. They not only offer quantity, but variety and quality. I know the porn I like, but it does not have a large base and sites can't survive on so few customers, so I take what appeals to me and hope for a site that will meet my desires will show up. The one thing that I'm afraid will wreck porn is STD's. In sites with forums, I have read complaints about condom use, but look what dangers there are without them. I will accept a condom for the safety of the performers from STD's. My imagination is powerful enough to ignore a condom. In truth I'm into lesbian porn and the need for condoms doesn't show up, but female performers do both straight and lesbian and I want them safe. But how do you protect performers from their private lives. If they take risks outside the industry, outbreaks of STD's will occur. I suspect that is where the current outbreaks are starting. There is nothing the industry can do about a performer's private life. With thousands of performers, it only takes one to start a STD outbreak and that creates an environment for disaster. I hope they can keep the outbreaks few and that cures will be found for these dreadful diseases. Until then, the industry is going to hurt and performers I enjoy are at risk. When I moved from a Chicago suburb to Milwaukee the biggest difference was the word "bubbler" for drinking fountain. Only a little over 100 miles difference and a term changed. I feel the same way about photos. They are getting larger and there isn't any reason. 1000 wide images works well for me. They have gone to 2000, 3000, 4000, and now I'm seeing 5000 wide. Each jump in size uses memory exponentially. Besides the fact that they will have sets with 400 to 500 pictures that translates to several being basically the same image. A total waste. One of the things I was blessed with, is my parents were not religious. We were Easter and Christmas Christians. We even stopped going to church on those holidays when I reached my teens. I think my father was bitter about his mother forcing him to go to church. He would often call her a Rock Baptist, what ever that means. A lot of that material was old and no longer available because the sites have closed down. One thing I try to do is respect people. This was something I was taught early in life, but conveniently forgot as I started to live a life of self-interest. Things change. I'm not talking about what Rick is doing. I'm talking about people leaving and new people arriving. They will probably be discussing the same things already hashed out once before, but it will be new to them. I'm not good at judging sites, so I have only done one review. So I'm not to concerned about reviews being lost, because new reviews will be made and my impression is the old reviews will be available until updates start rolling in. So I don't see any reason to worry about reviews being tossed out. My introduction to porn was Penthouse. That was 1971. I finally bought my first VCR and found out there were stores just for adult rentals. Then bought my first computer with an internet connection and typed porn and all kinds of sites popped up. It took a few years to discover PU. Now I don't join a website until it is listed here and I have read what people have experienced with their membership.
