Agree with turboshaft - got a gmail half a year ago and with the fine Thunderbird program - and that just stopped almost all spammails - now I get 3-4 at the most in a week....that's pretty good considering all that porn-browsing... Have to praise The Squirrel - HOW well put here - but again, ok we're both of European origin - so that might make the difference - again... Lot of fine and decent views/comments here.. But there's apparently a lot of differences between the conditions/views in US/Canada and Europe: A lot here in Europe do not talk about 'religion' in connection with this matter (the fast growing of number of mosques ect.), but more like 'cultural differences' between the western 'way of life' and the muslim ditto imported from the Middle East, Far East ect. You COULD seek the reason for the different views (in general) in this fact, that some Norwegian professor stated: 'The traditional emigrant countries: USA, Canada and Australia has very strict laws about emigration - nobody gets to live (legally)in those countries if they cannot prove they can provide for themselves - whereas millions and millions from the Third World (especially Arab countries and Pakistan ect.), has seek fortune by emigrating to European countries where they live on social welfare financed by others. This has created an instability between these immigrants and the original inhabitants and drained the European finances'. Does this instability make 'most' Europeans more intolerant? Been away for a while, but then this: What do you guys think about a mosque at Ground Zero? Do those who gave the ok realize the noise and bad feelings listening to that muslim call for prayer over gigantic loudspeakers several time a day/week.. I sense frustration in that Squirrel input - and I understand it very well... When TheSquirrel mentions 3-line-reviews, I feel he means it in an overall idea about some of those short and very quick reviews - NOT only, but in a lot of cases made by so called newbies. And generally they are useless compared to thorough, well founded reviews some - ok, more experienced pornusers - make here at PU. AND....I KNOW we've been through these discussions before - but I sincerely sense some strange - and maybe not so strange - kind of inflation... Started to manage my stash in models names - that's one way to do things. But then there's ALL that stash with new or old material and a list of names/alias longer than a New York Phone Book... It's a mess. Then started to manage according to monthly downloads at different external drives - now I got six different drives with about 1,6 TB material - and that's an even worse mess, when you some day say: "Hey, where is that particular vid or pix set that I suddenly remember to have enjoyed some time ago?" Then the search is a bit heavy AND sometimes not succeeded - because you just can't remember under which name this file was placed...And no matter what photo-programs and video ditto you use they can't help you - you got to have your own system, but this user will never get it 100%, never.... Normally this place is a no-no about all that free stuff out there - one reason: TBP/PU is - of course - about joining paysites and comments/reviews on those. But ONE question: Does PUs consider it stealing when/if you use all those forums ect. out there on the net - forums that gives you access to a hell of a lot of paysite-material via paying to Hotfiles, Sharing Matrix, RapidShare ect. instead. I'd say YES - still one or two problems: 1) The time spend to search is too much time spend - so rather pay some more to get to the paysite/paysites. 2) Hunting down vintage stuff is a serious problem - a lot here is GONE - AND only kept alive by people on these forums. Anybody has this problem - now and then (with SOME clips/full videos): Some of my videos have this problem (only some): When going for fast forward (like scanning the entire thing) the screen is getting totally blurred - and it takes maybe 10-20 seconds or more before it's clear again...no matter whether I use VLC, Windows Media (classic or new) or Gom Player... Since it's ONLY with some videos/larger clips guess it's not my pc... (BTW: it's both real old vintage material and new ditto) Any ideas? Yes, dull, not 'doll' - of course not.. But we - some friends along watching - were disappointed. Here was maybe 'the match of the year' with the two best teams. What made it 'not really good' was two factors: The roughness instead of skill with 'elegance'..only Spain showed some of that. AND the fact that the Dutch 'digged' themselves down (a bit hard in English this) - they slowed down the Spanish attack, played it too safe without much to show in their own attacks - like in the other matches. BTW: VLC is top - and you can't be without it (one problem here, though: fast forward is NOT fast forward, but slow - and you have to wait for scenes to clear up)...GOM Player does it a bit better and the old, old Media Player Clasic is one of the best when you want to go 'fast forward' in you large clips... 2. BTW: Download managers: Fine hint from RB here, too - FreeDownloadManager - used it some weeks now - and it's even easier to use than my old (payed for) IDM. Anybody for a sport experience...? Today it was IT. Holland beat Brazil 2-1 - one of the best socc..., NO: football matches in a long time. So it looks like: Spain, Holland, Germany, Argentina....and maybe Uruguay (if they beat Ghana tonight, guess they will)... Europe is certainly in the World Cup - still... Is this about some kind of suppression? ....Guess not..., still? Both teams made a fine game for us fans to watch... Guess David Villa was 'kind of' off site before scoring that goal? - still it was entertaining, and Yes, a damn fine goal (off site or not)...........and the famous Ronaldo with a salary we can only envy was not doing much... Anyway: Congrats with the victory and best of luck from now on. Spain plays great FOOTBALL!!!!
