Several years ago I enrolled with Hegre Art and was quite pleased with the experience. The photography was some of the best I’d seen. It was a total study of the female form, a house of worship, very tasty and very tasteful. One con though, there was nothing remotely hardcore. Recently I was surfing and happened upon Hegre Art and was surprised to see that it appears to no longer be so soft. I checked the TBP review, updated about a year ago by Vanessa, and saw no mention of any hardcore upgrade Anybody have an update? Is it time for me to revisit Hegre Art ? I just received an email from michael Automorrow is a blog host that is currently on hiatus The email refers to a message from Oprah linking to an ad for 1000 Caralluma a weight loss diatary supplement that is endorsed by Oprah and Dr. Oz This email is similar to a hundred other pieces of crap that are sent to me weekly, except for the 24 emails that are listed in the broadcast. They are: contest@pornusers.com newsletter@pornusers.com anybody@arizonabev.com I sent them one email 5 years ago Four of my exgirlfriends spanning 40+ years, Two of which preceded the existence of email The sister of an old girlfriend who has lived in Germany for 20 years The sister of yet another girlfriend from 40 years ago with whom I am in contact from time to time An old client that I’ve not contacted in 12 years An eighty year old aunt in Florida that I speak to periodically but who does have email The billing department of Aetna Insurance who were my hospitalization providers until 2013 Jeff with a company I dealt with briefly 5 years ago Felix with a company I dealt with briefly 3 years ago Neither of which involved email An electronics store that went out of business 5 years ago Two FaceBook addresses of people I do not know autorenew@webroot.com I subscribed 12 years ago and seven others I do not know I have no clue what this is about or how that string of emails applies. I have Dish Satellite for my television and noticed from the beginning that there was a sprinkling of ersatz porn, mostly WVSU (women in various stages of undress) all of it over-acted softcore and not worth my time. Ive happened upon a word that is new to me. As Ive ranted before, 720p vids are all I need or want. One can see an amazing difference between 720p and 1080p when watching on a 4-foot screen. On a 27 inch monitor, the difference is negligible, especially when one considers the 3 to 5 times disk space required for storage and the hours of additional download time for the 1080p vids. It used to be that websites would offer both resolutions to satisfy each preference, but that seems to be changing. All of these great new and improved sites that Id normally jump on in a hot minute, and then I read the review and toss it from my list because the only offer a couple of formats in 1080p. Even if I were to soften my position, bite the bullet, and download the higher resolutions, they dont play well on my desktop. Theyre slow and choppy with artifacts. So, now Im Jonesen. Most all of the sites on my wish list are disqualified for their limited HD offerings. Ive recently been revisiting my collection of still images on several external drives. There are more than I thought, over 1.4 million pictures and that doesnt count the hundreds of zipped files Ive found to put on my to do list. Over the years, nay decades, Ive noticed there is entirely too much red in porn images and videos. What Ive recently noticed is that even images and videos that dont appear to be too red, can be greatly improved by the neutralization of reds, magentas, and yellows. A few seconds, and one or two clicks, in Photoshop can work wonders in improving still images. Boosting the cyan level to neutralize the red, and tweaking the green to kill magenta and blue to kill yellow, is a quick and simple fix. (Digital color works differently than paint pigment) Adobe Premiere can vastly improve the look of videos and adjusting vids in the VLC Viewer, (Interface/ Effects and Filters/ Video Effects / Enable, can temporarily change the look for individual viewings. I have thousands of what I considered to be sub-standard pix and vids that I havent gotten around to deleting, which Ive found now to be quite salvageable. Many years ago I remember watching a video, shot by John Stagliano that was one of a series. I remember that there was a mention that it was in Indiana. The whole series was an adult themed, outdoor extravaganza. There were easily thousands in attendance. Strippers were interviewed that had come from all over this country and a few from abroad. There was every manner of stripping competitions and various and random acts of naughtiness throughout the video. Wish List What do we want in a porn site? Lets us leave personal preferences regarding boy, girl, gay, lesbian, MILFs, teens and trannies for another thread. It would be great to have file names include the identity of the talent and the name of the shoot, or at least have that info close at hand for easy copying and pasting. Videos with accompanying photo shoots ought to have the same or a similar name. Show me talent that appears to like what theyre doing and desire to be there. My method of paysite selection? I look at a number of TGP sites and find one that astounds me. I then look at TBP and PU reviews and make a decision. The Viewpornstars TGPs astound me. The reviews however are mediocre to bad. The reviews are 5 years old. I've seen in browser viewing of video flash files for years but this is the first time I've seen a downloadable flash video I've downloaded one and it seems to play just fine, but before I build a new wing for my video library, I thought I'd ask the Video Gods, several of which who live here, What bad things do you have to say about collecting flash files? What good things? I've noticed the few times that I've played flash vids that they seem to run cleanly and without artifacts or hic-cups, so this may be a good thing. Oh I just watched one. Never mind. My computer is 3 or 4 years old and has a problem with 1080 lines of resolution. They hiccup, stammer and show artifacts when the FF button is used. My first impulse was to upgrade my vid card and add some RAM, but then comparison made me wonder why. Blu Ray looks great on my 48 Sony, but 1080 on a 27 monitor doesnt really out shine the 720 videos much at all. Im perfectly happy viewing erotica on my puter and dont intend watching them on the big screen, and if that changes, the Sony is computer ready. My problem is that while some paysites offer 1080 as well as 720, many offer only 1080. I have taken to eliminating the 1080 only sites from consideration. The reason? Hard drive space. A 1Gig vid in 720p compares to 3-5 Gigs in 1080p. A marginally better resolution is taking up four times the HDD space. With several decades of naked women on my resume, I have from time to time paused to reflect and analyze and dissect my interest. Girls, and every manner of girl parts seem to top all the lists. I was time traveling to 2008 and found "Rear-view mirror on the wall, who's got the finest ass of all? Without dragging the whole thing into the present, it does deserves a resurrection. This lass showed up more than a decade ago, just a single image on a TGP site. I was smitten. The links have never resulted in any images except this one. Ive seen references to artifacts and from context, infer that they are a bad thing. I know what an artifact is on an Egyptian dig, but am unaware of the video reference. Because of inadequate bit-rate, videos look compressed. What does compressed look like? I know what a bit is, and I know the meaning of rate, but beyond the flowing of data, what is bit-rate and how does it affect my viewing a video? Ive seen references to bit-rates from 100 to 2,000, inferring that 2,000 is slow. Many paysites now offer HD video. 1080p dont fly as well for me as 720p. Ive extrapolated that the age of my puter has much to do with this. (4 or 5 years) I have noticed that I dont see much difference between the two on a 27 inch screen and figure that viewing them on a 60 inch screen would make a difference. I am perfectly happy watching the 27 inch screen attached to my computer for erotica. Ill watch Star Wars in blu-ray on the four footer in the other room. The 1080p on my monitor stutters, hic-cough and the sound track is not aligned with the vid. It is disconcerting to hear a lady speak full sentences while her mouth is full. Because of the file size difference between the two, 1.2G vs 3 to 5 G, and the paysites offering only the larger file, theyre not doing me any favors. A 2T hard drive will only hold 200 movies at that rate. Is everyone watching downloaded porn on the big screen in the other room? I am presently a member of Reality Kings ( not for long with their DL restrictions) and am locked in to 480 line vids. Where are the holograms, flying cars and rocket belts promised us by the Jetsons? To recap : What is an artifact? What does a compressed video look like? What is a bit-rate? There has been a question regarding RK's download limit. I was locked out yesterday. Twenty six hours later I downloaded seven videos totaling 2.7GB. Again I am locked out. Do I reccommend Reality Kings? Their content is borderline amazing, but if downloading is of remote interest, Save your money unless life also gives you water and sugar, your lemonade is gonna suck. | |

In an earlier lifetime I was a webmaster/mechanic. Once or twice a month I would get an urgent email reporting that a URL had been hi-jacked(or expired and acquired) and links to insurance companies or manufacturers were being routed to "particularly offensive adult sites". (upon investigation, they were actually quite tame) It seems that problem has come full circle. In the past two weeks or so, while surfing a string of TGP sites, I find I?m continually linked to car insurance or recipe sites, and something quite annoying called Jokeroo. Even the bulk of clicks that stay in the porn quadrant are directed to totally unrelated niches, (click on an 18 year old hard-belly and get a fornicating grandmother... naked gymnasts will deliver she-males at the county fair.) If I never again see the word "tube" in a URL, that would be quite OK. Free porn has a purpose. It is how people with money find places to spend it. We are hard-wired to be interested in the reproduction process. Women and men find fascination in that process, albeit in the recreational portion of that process. Many, mostly male like to look, or watch. It is upon this quirk that the industry is largely built. The client wants to look and the TGP provider wants advertising and click-thrus and the revenues they generate. The truly free porn is mostly crap. The TGP sites posting professionally produced erotica are providing a service to those producers. They send the money-bearing porn buffs to a place they can spend their money. Some, not that many, TGP sites subscribe to the "what you click is what you get" school of thought. I have begun deleting the others from my favorites file. Two weeks ago, I had 6000 plus porn-sites bookmarked I have deleted a thousand plus and have not passed the letter F. ( ok it needed housekeeping ) Miles to go before I sleep. I really do have a life. A main thrust at PU appears to be, not promoting free porn. I'd suggest if the paysites would improve their sites, the battle would not be so uphill. I'm not talking content. Show me any image or video that is remotely erotic and I'll show a long line of aficionados that will rave about it. There is nothing more diversified than pornography and the people who love it. There is no bent that hasn't an army of followers. What desperately needs improvement is the look, the navigability, and the maintenance of the pay-sites that already exist. I have subscribed to forty or fifty pay-sites in the last ten or twelve years. In all, the experience has been disappointing. A site with great content and minimal navigability doesn't work. Web mechanics practice a skilled craft. The really good ones know that the bulk of their users don't have a comparable skill-set. With the skills I have, it took me a week to find zip files on a site I paid money for a month ago. If they cannot make their sites easy to travel, they are doomed to fail. Each pay-site needs to include a user?s tutorial. I have seen few on the internet and none in this industry. They need to know that when a paying client spends a great deal of time on their sites, the smallest of annoyances becomes a very large item of contention. The four reviewers with TBP are remarkable. The problem is that over the years they have become quite web-savvy and can negotiate the sites they review, more skillfully than their readers. Someone less seasoned will rant and rave about navigational issues and can then report to the reviewers for the final draft. You won't even have to pay them. There are probably a few PU members who might do it for free access to a site. You will also find a much wider range of sexual preference. A straight will probably not have as much fun reviewing a gay or tranny site. My suggestion: The writers at TBP and the members of PU might consider creating a generic tutorial (not specific to a particular pay-site) that gives a beginner or semi-seasoned porn user a basic ground school for web based porn. It's probably already there but spread out over thousands of threads. This tutorial could then be a basis for tutorials written to be pay-site specific. The tutorial should include a basic understanding of types of images and resolutions. Why is a large image better than a small one? You have to scroll to see the whole thing. Is a wmv better than an AVI, Mpeg4 or QuickTime. What the hell is a codec? CFNM? BBW? Camel Toe? That's a reach. Nowhere in the animal kingdom can they come up with a better body part to euphemize a vagina? OK that was my September rant. If they outlawed porn on the internet, there'd only be one website left.
