The Cum shot is the point to which many porn scenes build towards. Standard etiquette seems to demand that the girl orgasms first, and then the guy cums (usually over her tits or in her mouth). This is counter to most real-life sex, where the guy almost invariably cums first. But that aside, what do you like and hate most in cum shots? My preferences are: holding steady (if the cock is waved around, you can't see the cum come out), lots of it, an active squirt, and the lady finishing the guy off (especially by mouth) My pet hates are: the guy pumping his own pud, weak payloads (eg a few drops of pathetic clear fluid - they should bring the dick back in 3 days and make him shoot it again), and worst of all, fake cum. What do others think?

I'm curious to get the thoughts of others on this. My gripe has to do with how, in porn scenes, they 'manufacture' angles so you (the viewer) can see the various bits. Eg, in a BG scene, how the guy sets himself at an angle to the girl (not front on) so you can see his cock making entry. Two obvious results from this: 1. The guy's cock usually only enters halfway. Any further in, and his torso would ne too close, and would block the view. 2. It looks phoney, laboured, and lacking in erotic appeal. The most common positions for this seem to be doggie and missionary. In those positions I much prefer the guy to lean forward, and envelope the girl in his arms - play with her boobs (doggie) or tongue kiss her (missionary). In these positions, you know his member has made full entry, a far bigger turn-on than the staged look I refered to above. I think that close-ups are best done in certain positions (such as girl on top - camera from behind, reverse cowgirl or spooner), and I wish the vid people would stop trying to 'manufacture' views which look false and phoney Have close ups by all means; in fact, the close-ups are the icing on the cake. But surely it's best to do the close-ups using poitions which are best suited for them. What do others think?

Can someone help me with a technical question? I've recently updated my web browsers. But now, instead of gradually downloading the pics, where they gradually fill the page, nothing happens until the whole download is complete. I much prefer the older way - where you get a gradual filling up. Does anyone knopw how to change my browser settings to change back? I really appreciate the help.

I'm sure many of us have come across scams, rip-offs, and other unethical operators with porn sites. I want to make people aware of one I come across recently. I joined a 3-day trial membership. It was a rubbish site, so I cancelled almost immediately. But upon joining, I was inundated with emails form other sites saying that I had a 3 day 'free' membership to their sites. But after 3 days, I would be billed for these sites. Not wishing to be billed multiples of US$30, I worked through them all and cancelled. There was nothing in the site's terms and conditions about this kind of thing. Now some of the sites did not acknowldge my cancellation, and the next month I found myself being billed for sites I had never heard of. Fortunately, one the credit company has agreed to refund my money. Can I name these sites? And what experience other members had of these kinds of scams? Can we compile a list (or submit the names to Khan) of sites and credit companies to at least be investigated?

Do we have any female members on this site? If so, I'm interested in why - your sexual orientation, are you curious about what makes us guys tick, etc.

This question arose because of various comments in the reviews and other forum topics. One thing I look for is what I call a good sense of erotic taste. I know this varies greatly, and can boil down to a person's own taste. But allowing for this, I think there is a common denomiator of good quality in porn. It also varies between pics and vids. For example, posture/pose is vital in a convicing pic set, but in a vid, movement is more important. But allowing for this, I'd like to give a few thoughts on what I think 'good erotic taste' is. 1. TEASE & EXCITEMENT The scene should tease, whet your appitite, lead you on, and satisfy you shortly before the end. Tha's why, as a lover of pic sets, I hate it when after, say 4 fully clothed shots, they show a fully spread pussy in pic 5. The build-up and tease has been ruined. 2. NOT TOO LONG The scene should not be too long. I prefer vid scenes of 15-20 minutes, or pic scenes of 100 pics (solo strip) or 150 pics (BG of GG) unless it's damned good. Better a scene be too short, and leave you wanting more (providing the point of satisifaction has been reached), that it be too long, and leave you wondering when it's going to end 3. POINT OF SATISFACTION Put simply, it's the point at which the shoot's goal is achieved. In a solo pic shoot, it's when you see everything, including some full pussy spreads. In a BG scene, it's usually when the guy cums (after the girl cums, usually), etc. I don't see these as hard and fast rules, but they are a good guideline. I mean, what's the point of a scene if the guy cums in thE second minute, and they spend the rest of the time reading a book?) 4. DECOR & SURROUNDINGS Decor is important. lively, bright and colouful surroundings stimulate the mind, and add to the sensual experience. It varies of course - a scene for teens doing their first porn scene might have bright, cheerful colours, whereas a high-class sseduction scene might feature softer ;ight, ornate drapes, and classy bedclothes. But too many sites have tacky, grotty and messy settings, and usually the photography or videography is of similar quality. You can only get away with this if it is an obviously high-class woman being seduced, say, by the hunky motor mechanic in his greasy, messy garage. 5. SHOOTING AGNLES Shots should vary between close-up and the whole scene. one thing that annoys me (both pics and vids) is where they use sex positions with the sole purpose of displaying the woman's spread pussy (The reverse cowgirl position is OK, because it still allows good movement, and her tits to dounce up and down. But the spooner position has a heap of problems. It's difficult for the couple to appear genuinely erotically absorbed in each other in this position, and cramps movement.) In solo pics, some photographers coninually make the mistake of shooting from above the girl, and shooting totally front on. Not a good angle (see my article about good and bad photography) 6. UNCONVINCING STANDARD FORMULAS Many scenes, even in better quality sites, go through standard formulas, such as the woman squirming and running her hands over her (unexposed) breasts, or 'stabbing', or oral done with a series of single licks. Totally unconvincing; that's why I like amateur models, because they tend not to use these practised formulas. Their nervous excitement shows through, and enhances the erotic feel of the shoot. These are a few points, and I make the greatest possible alloance for the fact that people have different tastes. Eg I'm don't like stilletoes, because they ruin a girls posture, and reduce her mobility. For me, the woman can only be convicing erotically if she's fully mobile. But some scenes may call for stilletoes - eg secretary scenes. However, I was a member of one site which had most other things right - decor, surroundings, lovely models, etc. But they opted for standard formulas, and one of them dictated that no matter where the girl was, she had to wear f*cking stilletoes - in the lounge, by the pool (get real!) or walking in the forest fir Christ's sake! (get real x 2!!). The site had me for one shoot, but lost me after 5. Comments anyone?

Which internet browser do people like to use? I have tried explorer and firefox, but so far I have found opera the best, as it gives best control over picture size. What do others use?

I mean the worst one you've seen, not the worst one you've taken part in! What is the worst porn scene you've ever viewed? It might be a scene where everything went wrong, or was so ridiculous as to be laughable, or just plain absurdly crass. Don't mention the site, just describe the scene. Some scenes are just plain bad. But there are also some genres that give rise to ordinary scenes. One of my dislikes is POV. The fact that the dude is usually videoing himself as he comes is a recipe for disaster. I'll start the ball rolling. This one was an outdoors anal entry. Lovely model, well-built stud with a large shlong. So far so good. But in the close-ups, you could see flies buzzing around the girl's butt-hole! Hardly something to inspire rampant lust!

Good and Bad Photography I tend to prefer photography to vids. And my favourite niche is the simple undressing scene. I also enjoy girl/girl as well as HC. I want to submit my thoughts on what works and what doesn't. I accept that we are all different, and have varied tastes, but it seems to me that many porn photgraphers regularly make such shocking blunders - things which are not rocket science, but which should be pretty obvious. I'm not talking about such things as subtle lighting or clever make-up, but things like posture, setting, etc. I'll say my bit, and these things will become clearer. First, a solo shoot is fundamentally different to a sex scene shoot (either BG or GG). Mostly, In the solo shoot, the model is relating to the viewer - you! The exception would be a toy / masterbation shoot, in which she is relating to herself. In that case, she should seem to be oblivious to the viewer (cameraman, viewer, etc), as she creates the impression that she absorbed in pleasuring herself (the occasional look at the camera and knowing smile doesn't go astray, however) In a sex scene, the two participants should be totally absorbed in each other. That's what annoys be about these 'posed' so-called lesbian scenes, where the two models not only look at the camera and smile, but the pussy licking is posed and staged, and isn;t really happenng. Why some sites persist with this is beyond me. If the girls can't do a real scene, then why do they offer for a fake one? And when the girls are looking at the camera, instead of being absorbed in each other, this can only come from bad directing from behind the lense. In BG shoots, most of the scenes make 2 continual blunders. 1. The guy usually jacks his crank, instead of the girl. To me, is it far better erotic value if the girl does the jacking off. 2. The continual ommision of snapping the moment the guy cums. Too often, we see 10-15 shots of the guy pumping his pud (looking like hard work), then the next shot is 'post-cum' - the magic moment has been missed. For me, the moment is seeing the load halfway to her face, or just landing. Why it's so hard to snap this moment I don't know - David Lace could do it, 1by day does it (a really excellent site!), so I don't know why other sites can't do it. But now to the meat of my discussion: solo shoots. I'll do this in headings with remarks, to make reading easier. TYPE OF MODEL: I prefer amateurs, because there is a far greater sense of fresh innocence with them. Often it is their first time, and the sense of nervous excitement on their smiles as they undress has great erotic appeal. CLOTHING: Should have some sense of colour, style and appeal. T shirt and jeans are OK, if they follow this rule. Same with underwear / lingerie. Should be sexy and colour-co-ordinated. Nothing is a bigger turn-off that a model in a daggy T shirt, with underwear which looks like it came out of great grandmothers (or great-grandather's!) wardrobe. Big heavy bras are also a turn-off, as are hob-nailed boots, heavy socks, etc. An exception might be a stunning model who has built a series of sets, and where the appeal is to see her get out of a daggy outfit to reveal her lovelynakedness. SEQUENCE OF UNDRESSING: should follow a normal pattern, a point lost on many photographers. How often do we see the model leave her shoes on, or a full pussy spread at about pic 5? The erotic tease and build-up has been ruined when this happens. The undressing also needs to be done in a way which is sensual and erotic. The key moments are also when she is removing items of clothing -especially knickers. Yet so many photograhers simply jump past this. Posture is also important with the overall erotic effect POSTURE: One of the biggest blunders by photographers is their poor attention to posture. Good posture is the key to genuine erotic photography. The best posture for an undressing scene is standing up, or variations of this (eg bending half-forward to remove knickers, and she looks at the camera and smiles). Also, slight bending forward allows the boobs to hand down. When a model is standing, or moving about on her feet, you can see her full naked glory and her natural stance. Another great stance is having the model on all fours, as it brings the but in prominence, and allows the boobs to hang free. Also, posture works best if it is slightly uneven - eg one leg in front of the other, hips, tilted, etc. On all fours, a shot from behind, 45 degrees, with the cloers leg slightly forward is a great angle. One reason I hate stiletoes is that they bugger up a girl's posture. Stiletoes should only be used is a secretary-type shoot, and even then they should be ditched quickly in the undressing. Photography angles also play a role here. PHOTOGRAPHY ANGLES: An aspect which many porn photographers seem unaware of. The most common blunders are front-on shots, shots from above the model; that sort of thing. Far greater erotic effect is achieved shooting at a 45 degree angle (from both in front and behind). Even with close-ups (zeroing in on pussy, etc), the angled shot works far better. SHAVED / NATURAL This is secondary to photography as such. Personally, I prefer the natural look, because pubic hair tells me that this is an adult, sexual being. But I also don;t like wild jungles - I prefer some trim. Fully shaved pussies look to me like little girls pussies. But that's my preference, and not the core of my argument. The REAL core of my argument is that many photographers have no idea of how to photograph a pussy, shaved or not. The cameraperson needs to take into account how much stuff the model has - pubic hair, size of labia (outer & inner), etc. Once again, the angled shot usually works far better. Having the labia together (with legs together - what is now called 'cameltoe' - a look I really like, but the guy who thought up that ugly name should be roasting in hell) make for good erotic effect. The worst type of pussy shot is as follows: shaved pussy, non-existent labia (not the photographers fault), but then the dipstick cameraperson snaps her from straight in front, butt arched back, and leg apart, so the pussy lips have disappeared. Net result: pussy looks like a naked mole-rat. CLOSE-UPS - Best placed after full undressing has occured. Should be used sparingly through the latter part of he shoot. 2-3 three close-ups with model in a particular pose, then next pose, etc. I HATE runs of 10-15 closeups, because in that time you loose contact with the model's face, and hence her persona. LENGTH OF SHOOT: An undressing shoot should be no longer than 100 pics (150 pics for a sex scene). Anything longer than this is too long, unless it's fucken' good (whot most of them are not) My rule is that a shoot is better to be a bit shorter, and leave the viewer wanting more, instead of too long, and leaving the viewer wondering when it will end. OUTDOOR SETTINGS Setting should be private. I'm not a fan of public 'flashing' shoots, as I want to see the model freed up from any inhibitary settings, so she is free to undress totally. Outdoor shoots can be really good, but they should be in a secluded setting (forest, garden, etc). Care needs to be taken with the light - uneven light can fuck up a shoot. A sunny day sounds good, but it takes a really good photographer to capture this, without it being ruined by glare or uneven light. One site which does really good outdoor shoots is Girls Out West. INDOOR SETTINGS: Decor should be attractive, open, light and spacious. Yet in so many shoots we see dingy decor, dirty carpet, and mess eveywhere. I'm not advocating top-class Hilton-style settings, but clean, bright and attractive surroundings give a shoot a real lift. The model also needs to be given space to move around, and the photpgrapher also needs space to snap model within the whole setting. Shooting in a corner is a no-no - it reduces shooting to one angle. POSES: Similar to posture. Needs to be some common sense here. Fully clothed poses (eg head back, one arm at the back of head, etc) can signal the model is about to do something outrageous. One of the most annoying poses is the finger-in-the-mouth. Makes the model look like a bogon. These are some of my thoughts. I know some will thing I'm unreasonably fussy, but I don't believe so. I believe the things I've talked about are not rocket science, but should be bloody obvious, even allowing for variations of taste.
