i just got off a chat with Epoch billing #6104. I had a sub that renewed a few hours ago and asked that the charge be reversed. Totally uncooperative to say the least. All I could get was that this is a recurring billing. I even mentioned who I was and that I always had Epoch as a pro in my reviews. Never again. They are now a con. I can use a different biller in most cases. I will not help them if they refuse to help me. Some service. MikeC if you want to help that would be appreciated. | |

There are two things I would like to see an answer posted. I am serious and don't want to come across as sarcastic or with a negative attitude. One is about the raffle that just ended. The only times I remember that a week was skipped was at the end of the year, Christmas time. Every year the next raffle is for double the amount and all reviews posted since the last raffle are eligible. LK wrote a review that would have been eligible the week before, when we did not have a raffle. I don't see it mentioned as one he wrote in the winning announcement. The second week is the only one listed. None of the reviews for the missing week won. Is this a mistake? Should there be another drawing for that week? Question two I have wondered for a long time. If a reviewer posts multiple reviews in the same week do their chances of winning go up proportionately? The reason I ask it doesn't appear to be the case and never has. I just posted this in answer to Freddie. She insists that the winners are selected randomly by a computer. First is her post that I responded to. "You won two weeks ago. Should you win every two weeks? That's not how the raffle works. Like I have explained numerous times, it is decided by a computer who randomly generates winners. We should also encourage others to win, shouldn't we?" Me "Your statement of encouraging some at the expense of others makes a lie out the winners being selected randomly. I see new reviewers, those who have not been on the site in a long time, gay reviewers and women have a much greater chance of winning. We all deserve an equal chance if the raffle is selected randomly. If doing that does not get three winners, than an ineligible one from two weeks ago wins. Look back over the winners for this year and tell me this is actually random. Explain to me how I am wrong." She then deleted both posts. The explanation was that it was on the wrong thread. Earlier this year Freddie makd many many mistakes. This site has been very neglected for a long, long time. MikeC promised changes. Little actually changed. In the Spring the ASD debacle happened. MikeC did nothing, no support,he even told me to stop harassing the webmaster. I believe the webmaster was actually Rick who used to own this site and now owns that one. More recently he took down a review I wrote because a webmaster objected. He claimed I used a preview for a review. I did not. It was a paid membership, but I did not want another member in trouble because he gave me the log in information. More recently a staff member Zoey attacked in a mocking manner one of our female members Aly. I believe that Zoey was either MikeC or Rabbit trying to start a conversation to get the forum on fire. Totally inept. I will give you a pass on not catching LK2s rule violation on re reviweing a site. That was not easy to figure out unless you were looking for it. Some forum posts bring people to the site. I looked up the posts that have the most views to see what they are about. I hope looking at this list gives us an insight into what makes a useful forum post. As for me, when I see a new post I see it from the perspective of a contributor to the site. I contacted Freddie yesterday. She told me she has the flu. I hope she is getting better. She also told me that she would bring my request to Mike C for a decision. I wrote a review on Tuesday of Asian Sex Diary that the webmaster did not like. I think it would be appropriate if he were suspended, or even worse, banned for life. PU does not need trolls or even hostile webmasters. I wanted to keep this as quiet as I could until an answer came back from MikeC. This has always been a site for pornusers to express opinions freely without fear of harassment. It is not a site for webmasters to belittle past, present or future customers or their honest opinions. Since I see responses from Shen, Jook and Exotics, I think it is time for everyone to see the situation for themselves. What should be done if anything? I do not mind at all if one of us disagrees with anything I write. I don't take it personally, but apparently the webmaster does. "Fake News"? Sounds familiar, I think I have heard that before. I think we should have thread for input from members. My first suggestion is that a new thread be opened by management for requests for sites to be listed. We have an old one from 2016, but need a new one. This Suggestions thread, the New Site 2019 request thread, the New Member thread, What a PU Review Should Include and the thread Help Wanted should all be pinned to the top. They used to be and are all helpful, I think. The new site request thread should be taken seriously. Members should get an update as to their request's status. It can be as little as the site has not responded or even the site does not want to be listed. If a site does get a listing, let the members know. Not informing anyone has happened, but is not what is in the best interest of PU as the requesting member probably wants to post a review. | |

I have been thinking a lot about how the raffle works and how to make it better. 1) If you want reviews of sites that have none, make them worth three points instead of two. If it is part of a network, it should not be a network review, but one that fully describes the value of that individual site. Far too many reviews are useless as the network already has reviews. I also think that a lot of new sites would be too small for us to normally pay for. Periodically raffle a free membership to generate publicity. I would expect that there are webmasters who would love that idea. 2) If you want more new faces to review sites, make newbie reviewers excellent level reviews worth three points also.This would apply to the first five reviews and would give them an advantage. 3) To avoid overly rewarding frequent reviewers, make the raffle once a month. In a normal four week period there would be 12 prizes right now. Give fewer, say six, and increase their value. Maybe? | |

As it is now Friday afternoon, I will go out on a limb and say that the raffle winners got theirs. The other day I sent an email to the winner/shill. No response. No surprise there as would expect someone to use a fake email that is not even valid. I propose that the winners prize to towards a fourth winner next week. To avoid even an appearance of a conflict or interest, I don't want to be considered. This is not about me winning. It is the integrity of PU. Will this thread get a positive response? I had a good experience with Trueanal and Swallowed. However, they suggest disabling Norton if you have any trouble with downloading. Honestly I never thought much about this. Did you have any experiences with sites that advise you that an antivirus program should be turned off? | |

First, I want to tell you where I am coming from. Sixteen years ago, I suffered my second heart attack, was diagnosed with type 2 diabetes, high blood pressure and elevated cholesterol levels. This has the name metabolic syndrome. My heart doctor scared me off from doing any exercise by constantly telling me not to do too much. I never did find out how much is too much as I was petrified to move and just became a proverbial couch potato. Three years ago my diabetes was so bad that the doctor told me that I was beyond routine medication. Injecting insulin daily was about to become a reality. Instead I went to the gym. The first day all I could do was 20 minutes on a treadmill. I was so exhausted that I was afraid I would pass out. Each time I went I tried do a bit more. Now I do about four hours of assorted exercise four days a week. For my most recent cardiac stress test, I was able to do as much as they could throw at me, maxing out the test. I was told that I was the best they had all this year so far. My diabetes is in the normal range and my resting heart rate is 46, about what trained athletes can do. My insurance company pays for gym memberships, so I have four. I know many people who have more than one membership, so I know a fair bit about several more. Besides, I get a lot of junk mail about gyms. I am a member of big chain gyms. They all have some things in common: overcrowded and dirty after work and on weekends, unconcerned staff that is constantly turning over and a lot of rude members. If you look up gym etiquette on Google, you will see what I mean. I go on weekday mornings when the gym is not crowded. If you check out a gym on Yelp, you will see the same complaints about every gym: not clean, machines that don’t work and not being able to cancel memberships. Of course the gym is not clean if you go after work or on weekends as the staff cannot keep up when it is crowded. Read the contract when you sign up so you know the rules for cancellation. I never joined Blink, but a friend of mine loves how clean it is. On their website you see their policy is that everyone cleans. If I had to pay for a membership, I would go with Planet Fitness. They don’t have a pool, but the membership is only $10 per month. Another decent choice is the local YMCA. They are much cheaper than a traditional gym. Every gym will try to sell you on hiring a personal trainer. Basically it is not worth it. They generally use equipment that only their clients can use, so you are not learning all that much. The going rate is about $35 per hour, but rates are not posted. This is definitely caveat emptor, let the buyer beware. They will quote you whatever they think they can get from you. Wait for a sale and you will do better. Better yet, ask a friend to workout with you. DON”T WRITE ANYTHING IN A NOTEBOOK IF YOU ARE WITH A FRIEND. Gyms will interpret that as competing with their trainers and will kick out you and your friend-PERMANENTLY. Personal trainers are rather aggressive at selling their services in some gyms, but not all gyms are like this. Their standard advice is that you are not doing enough weight training and that they will teach you proper form. In actuality not all advice like this should be one size fits all. If you are trying to lose weight or are basically out of shape, you should be doing mostly but not exclusively cardio. I lost 32 pounds in less than two years and it was pretty easy. If you are 25 and are in decent shape, 10% cardio is appropriate for you. Speaking of cardio, the traditional definition of cardio is treadmill, bicycle and elliptical. If you use a weight machine, you will generally be using good form. Another benefit is that you can use it for strength training if you do 3 sets of 10 repetitions, but you can do cardio if you do 100 repetitions at a lower weight. Any pool exercises are cardio as well and feel gentle and easy. The pool is great if you have any injuries or arthritis. There are many classes that gyms offer. I have tried a few and found them harder than they look. In an average class, I would guess that three quarters of the people are not very good at the activity. Mostly women go to classes and I found that as the rare guy they felt the need to encourage me to come back. Go figure. I know I don’t know everything so feel free to correct me. I love Game of Thrones. For me it is the best TV show ever made and hate it that the next season looks like 2019. That being said, I would recommend that you check out The Last Kingdom. Sure its not GOT, but it is still quite excellent with great production values, good acting and a very interesting story line. I saw the first season on BBC America in 2015 and fell in love with it. Both the first and second seasons are available on DVD. Maybe it can be found somewhere on some network, but I don't know. The third season has not aired yet. The story is set in 9th century Saxon England. The Danes have taken over all of the Saxon kingdoms, leaving only Saxon Wessex left. Alfred, known to history as Alfred the Great, becomes king early in the first season. The protagonist is Uhtred, a Saxon from Northumbria. As a child the Danes conquered his kingdom. He became a slave to one of their leaders and was raised as a Dane. As an adult, he wants his ancestral lands back. Being bicultural, the stories are rich. If I were writing a PU review I would give GOT a 99. This show I would give maybe in the low to mid nineties. | |

I must be weird. I hate coffee. I have tried it a few times and I still don't like the taste or see the attraction. All I ever hear is how bad the coffee is and how expensive. I must have saved a lot by not becoming addicted. I have never bought a lottery ticket. I have saved probably in the thousands of dollars by now. The odds of winning enough to get back your life time investment is astronomical. I have never owned a cell phone. I am retired and a landline works fine for me. I have a cheap plan and that is enough. Some people have replaced their phones several times and that can get expensive. As far as their monthly plans, I think they are crazy expensive. This is all for what? You can talk to your friend later and not sit on the machine at the gym using your phone. I looked the other day and of the 35 people at the gym, 27 were using their phones. I also pay for porn and don't use tube sites. Call me crazy and weird. | |

Recently I saw many bj videos that just didn’t cut it for me. I got to thinking about what is in common about the better bj scenes. I don’t consider it a bj scene if it starts as a bj, then goes to other sex and then he finishes orally or facially. That is a normal run of the mill sex scene in pornland, not a bj. I prefer that the model’s face is always visible. From a short distance is ok, POV not so much. Scenes from the sides, especially for the money shot, don’t seem very erotic. I seldom bother with award shows as I usually disagree with their choices for the winners. Last night was no exception. I loved the Martian, but best Comedy? Are they kidding? I think Game of Thrones should win in every category every year, so they picked Mr. Robot. I have never heard of the show. Has anybody seen it and can give an opinion? In thinking about the recent thread looking for PUers to interview, I remembered that we used to have our own non judgmental interviews. It was a forum thread where a member was asked to answer questions selected by nomination or by Khan. I know because I was the last one to be interviewed. Khan listed some of the questions and answers that he thought would be interesting. They were mostly about our lives outside of porn and PU, but not pushy and personal. Hobbies and talents were the best topics. I think we should revive the concept. I nominate Pyrenees for the first interview and also nominate him for something we have never had, an honorary award for contributions by a new member, a kind of Rookie of the Year Award. | |

CFNM is an acronym meaning Clothed Female Naked Male. This is a minor porn niche and there are not very many websites with this type of theme. The appeal is to a very diverse type of porn viewer. It is mentioned in recommendations of porn for women, on gay review websites and appeals to straight males as well. Some things that are common on all CFNM videos is that the females are the initiators of sex and that the men are treated as sex objects. Nothing misogynistic here and the women are very much into the sex. Another standard feature is that the videos have a plot or a premise that makes it work. These are 180 degrees different from your standard gonzo. There are basically two types of videos. One kind is on US websites and appeals to straight men. The women are very nicely and elegantly dressed, with nice makeup, jewelry etc. The sites show women and often groups of women, who are the initiators of the sex, often hand jobs and/or blowjobs. Sometimes there is even vaginal sex, but that is uncommon. Female nudity is not featured, but you may see breasts or panties pulled aside vaginas. The focus is on male models as sex objects. An example is that a group of four very attractive women pass a construction site. One of the men gives them a wolf whistle. They respond by stripping him and then taking turns giving him a blow job. They are very enthusiastic and even vie for their chance. This is pure fantasy and it works for me. One site I rather liked was CFNMSecret from Reality Kings. Every scene has oral and vaginal and most videos are in 1080P. Another good one is CFNMSpot from Bang Brothers. It is still very small but has worthwhile videos. One I never joined is by Team Skeet and is called CFNMteens. An example of a different style would be DancingBear. It has a large number of women in a room celebrating a bachelorette party, graduation etc. Their newer videos come in at 720P and are very sharp, as are their older ones at 852x480. An interesting twist is that in each scene there are several male strippers, white, black and latino and the women are too. There are even a few Asian women as well. Each stripper goes around the room getting bjs from the women until one of them makes him cum. Occasionally there is a little nudity and even vaginal. Not all the women give bjs and I think that the ones who do are paid. There is a lot cheering and noise making by those who are at the party. A variation is on UK based websites, such as Purecfnm. The women here are outstanding and the sex is hand jobs and blow jobs. There is a great deal of story and acting and the performers have non sexual interactions as a result. Some of the females are UK porn stars and some are user submitted or genuine amateurs. This can get very hot as often in a group you will find women who do not perform any sex, but seem to greatly enjoy being on the set. It seems very real, not staged. The other type that appeals to gay men are femdom with humiliation. I am not into that at all, but our fellow Puer gaypornolover is and his favorite site is heylittledick. There are quite a few of these sites and they are primarily UK based. If this interests you, look up his name and the sites he has reviewed. I realize that this is not for everybody as there is little or no female nudity, but it can be a refreshing alternative to standard gonzo. It is interesting to see women empowered to be sexual. 1) More female PU comments, reviews and participation in the Forum. Studies show there is a strong representation of women who watch and enjoy porn. On PU we have never had more than a token female here or there. The welcome shown to them has been very warm and respectful. It doesn't matter if your interest is heterosexual or lesbian, as we have had both here. 2) That goes for gay participation as well. I only recall two gay porn reviewers in the seven years I have been here. I realize it is tough to be a minority, but you are and have been most welcome and treated very fairly. 3) Interactive participation by Web site owners, or for that matter other porn professionals. You have a unique perspective and insight that we need. For many people, using a credit card online is a scary experience. Buying porn on line is even more uncertain. In actuality, it does not have to be. Two trustworthy billing processors are CCBill and Epoch. To my knowledge neither has ever had a data breach or exposed the identity of anyone signing up for a porn site. Epoch is very approachable regarding billing questions and/or problems. CCBill takes the attitude that they are just a processor and if there are problems take them up with the web site. Other than those two there are many smaller companies that also process billing. Mostly they do a decent job, but beware. If anyone starts to get a lot of spam after joining a site, it is generally the biller that sells your email address to spammers. I never sign up for a website that sent me spam, unless it is a site that I was a member of in the past and now has a deal for rejoining. Also you should know that often, but not always, using a small billing company is a sign that CCBill and/or Epoch refuses to deal with that website. Why would a biller refuse someone’s business? In a word it is chargebacks. If you have a problem with a website, take it up with them before you ask your bank to reverse the charge. First, that is just good business ethics and second your email address will end up on a list of customers who are problems. Beware of sites that threaten you with reporting you if you do a charge back though. That generally is a sign that this is a common occurrence for them. A red flag for sure is a website that has a $1 trial that renews at a higher 30 day price than if you signed up without a trial and then proceeds to use a small processor. What often happens is that you seem to never end the trial without incurring the 30 day price. Very convenient for them but bad for you. Another possible red flag is using their own proprietary biller. Generally that is a sign that reputable billers do not want their business. This is by no means a firm rule as many totally reputable websites, such as Kink, use their own biller. They have an incentive as they do not have to pay a fee to an outside company. If you have any doubts as to whether a website is ethically challenged, check their reviews and comments on PU. If you ever feel that you are being taken advantage of or otherwise need a problem resolved, post on PU to let others know. In the past PU/TBP has refused to do business with less than ethical websites, especially if they have shady billing practices. I welcome corrections and additions to this post. | |

Only a few years ago HD was seen as an extra, just as 4K is seen now. That leaves a lot of older sites with less than HD content. Would you consider joining a site that only had quality less than HD? I know I would not. | |

A few days ago I heard a female comedian do the following routine on the radio. I don't know her name or can do justice to how she told it. I will try my best so here goes. I apologize for being away so long, but I have been extremely busy with my online business. About two weeks ago my computer caught a virus and I had to have it reformatted. When I got it back, I found that all my videos did not play properly. I have tried Windows Media, GOM player and also Real player. I got advice that VLC might solve the problem, but I could not get it to work at all. I have tried deleting each program and reloading and nothing helps. If I leave the screen on its smallest size, the videos are more or less ok. If I expand them, I get stuttering and distortions. Something has changed in my system. I won't bring it back to the tech who worked on it for two reasons. One I don't think he is very competent and two he did not react well to seeing the porn I had on it. Any ideas? | |

Last December I became retired, or to be more accurate actually unemployed. The difference is that I would prefer to have a job. The other day my wife told me that a neighbor confided in her that when she was homeless three years ago, she was a street prostitute. She is fat,dumpy,and out of shape, as well as toothless. It is obvious that webmasters can and do come here with an agenda. Further, that is not really wrong. I think we all agree that we have to keep their input at a level that doesn't damage the integrity of PU. That being said, I see nothing wrong with responding to them or their members if they cross the line of blatant biased commercialism and/or civility. However, I have seen posts recently about preferring not to respond. If we don't, they control this site. I think we cannot let another similar situation get out of hand as this one did. If we don't support the site as well as each other, we cease to have a community here. I know most of us do not want to rehash recent events, but if we don't discuss this topic now, will we do it in the middle of the next controversy? I have been reading with interest the complaints nonUS PUers have about regional pricing. I agree that it is not right, even immoral to charge members based on where they live. I never expected that I would share the same problem, as I live in the US and check out US based websites. Recently I wrote a review for hairypussycuties.com where I mentioned the price through CCBill is not the same as from Epoch. I wrote CCBill and asked them why. They got back to me and told me that my Internet address shows I live in Japan. Further they told me to complain to the individual websites when I see a discrepancy. They are washing their hands of issuing any future credits for the difference. In recent weeks I have checked out a few websites and what is see is that CCBill shows a difference from the prices shown on TBP. How can I know if there was a small price increase or my problem is with my address? By the way, it doesn't matter if I use Firefox or Internet Explorer, the only thing that matters is if I use CCBill. Other billing companies do not have different prices. I am curious if I am the only one who has encountered this. | |
