The forum and everywhere else is quiet. As I have said before I didn't intend doing any more reviews for quite some time. I'm only a semi regular, but with the raffle being ended, having a perverse character I decided to do another review I hadn't originally intended. Then I decided to do another one. I usually take ages to do these. Over a period of weeks I jot down pros, cons, and bottom lines and eventully put it all together. I think I have earned some time off recently and working on this today is probably good for me. A nice relaxing stress free way to spend the afternoon. Below is the file as it looks now, with spelling mistakes and a jumbled up bunch of thoughts which I intend to eventually put together and form a hopelly intelligent review. Things will change but this is how it looks at the moment. pros No DRM, download limits, or pre checked cross selling. Beautiful amateur girls in a mixture of shape size and colour. Genuinely amateur and individual content with its own style. Exclusive material and most of the girls will not be seen elsewhere. Lighting good considering the niche. Good streaming. Good download speed. Zipped pics. Named files. Good home pages and navigation. Still updating, with date of update. Easy log in, site remembers your details, with only an easy to see word to copy. Good customer oriented feel. cons Poor exchange rate with CCBill sign up. Male lead can be a bit irritating at times. One type of material. No network of sites bonus. A few too many fake breasts, and especially tattoos. Condoms becoming more common. Blurred face of male can sometimes spoil action. Some bad camera action and views. Can be amateurish. Pics old 1400x937 new 1280x720 1400x788 640x360 3270 kbps 768x432 6178 kbps 768x432 4064 kbps This is one of the few sites where old pictures have higher spec than the new ones, and may be because the new ones are screencaps rather than genuine photos. Old ones are genuine photos, and some of the bonus content involved behind the scenes content where you could see these being taken. I love that sort of stuff, but sadly newer updates don't have any of that, although the main videos always have a certain behind the scenes flavour due to the nature of the content. Bonus material is thin compared to major networks. Membership gives access to Backroom Casting Couch, (on a quality par with ECG, and is a very good bonus site) and Net Video Girls plus some free movies. This isn't a network, it's a standalone DIY site so you wouldn't expect much extra. It's a rare niche, with quality material, beautiful girls, and given the one man show plus camera it's done in a professional enough way to show the girls off to maximum effect. It does a very good job of doing an amateur thing in a very professional way. I know this view wont go down well with some members of PU, but it is just my opinion. I think the guy does a great job, even though he may not win any humanitarian awards or upstanding church goer of the month awards...or he might, we don't know who he is, as his face is blurred out, something that can sometimes detract from the action. Some PU ers have referred to the male lead as a sleaze ball from what I can remember, yet there hare no dirty tricks on sign up or cancellation, no drm, dl limits, or pre checked cross selling. What you see and are led to expect is very much what you do get. In fact the whole site is easy to use and seems to be designed for the customer. You can't say that about many. The login is easy. Your membership details and password are remembered, with an easy to see simple word to copy. Navigation is great, with quite detailed previews of what the update is like, plus a long written summary about the shoot. You may not like the main man's tone, but you can't say he doesn't put in the effort. Photos are zippped, download speeds are fast, and files are numbered. It's a semi professional job, If this is the future of porn, with semi amateur girls, and semi professional shooting, done on a budget, I would be happy with that. I don't think it is, but what he is doing works for him, and for me. This is close to the real thing. Reality, with some very attractive amateurs who look sexy. That isn't easy to do. Even the pros get it wrong more often than not, so hats off to ECG. Picture and video quality wont exactly please the Hi def fans, with new video spec being 768x432 at 4000-6000kbps and the slightly older ones being 640x360 at 3000-4500 kbps. Even the newer videos already look prehistoric, but then this isn't about high pristine quality with fantastic lighting and models looking like they've been dipped in bronze, it's abou tone man and a camera, and at it's most high tech, one man and two cameras, with occasional help from a mate. You get plenty of build up, dressing, undressing, walking around naked and semi naked. Last time I counted there were 286 girls, and there have been a couple of updates since then. They say they started in 2005. More recent shoots are dated but earlier ones are not. I think the earliest date I can remember seeing is 2009. When I recently visited then clicked to leave the page I received a cut price offer from CCBill, which I accepted. Despite that, the CCBill poor exchange rate is one that really pisses me off, and is close to regional discrimination. It's ripping off customers, but at least I received a cut price rate. When I went to cancel my subscription I received another cut price offer, which I almost accepted. The only thing that made me turn it down was I don't have the time to download let alone watch much porn at the moment. It certainly isn't a reflection on the quality of ECG, which I very much like. When I have time in a few months I may well return. It's just an opinion but this is as real as it gets. The next door girl types are the type of girls you wish were living next door. There is a lack of gloss and has an amateur feel, but at the same time is professionally lit, edited, and photographed well enough to be erotic. For me it''s an excellent blend of professionalism and DIY amateurism. Yes there have been comments about the guy being a douche bag, but given the abuse, both verbal and physical, some girls get on mainstream sites, this is relatively mild by comparison. It does vary but generally I found streaming facilities to be excellent. I often get quality streaming at peak times when on other sites (VideoBox for instance) it's impossible to get a picture. This is obviously a very individual and polarised niche. You get access to Backroom Casting Couch and Netvideogirls, which are both the same sort of material. If you don't like amateur casting you wont like these sites, so a membership is worthless. A recent addition is the split screen view, where you see both the model's face and the other end at the same time. It's not a bad addition as long as it's not overdone. Sometimes the two screens seem to get in the way of one another. There is a limited amount of material so navigation is relatively easy. The models are listed both chronolgically and alphabetically. There are a few scenes with condoms which I hate, but they probably only make up about 10-15% of the clips. One thing I noted was that when I went to the sign up page then closed the window, I received a $5 off offer if I joined now. That worked out at �17.44 for 30 days. With apologies to two much loved old time British comics I have named this thread "So what do you think of it so far?" They're dead now so aren't going to care much anyway. After being a member of PU for over four years, I pondered on what conclusions I have come to after surfing porn, and doing a few reviews. What started me thinking about this was joining Team Skeet, which was my first membership in about 3-4 months. I wanted to join something at the end of last year but it was so so difficult to decide. Every time I considered a network it had either pre checked cross selling, download limits, or regional discrimination. From the rest I found it very hard to choose. They were either very samey, or I had subscribed before and wasn't entirely knocked out by the content. I kept surfing those free download sites trying to work out who had the best material, and in the end didn't subscribe, as basically the most interesting sites for me, either had pre checked cross selling or regional discrimination. I joined Team Skeet simply because it looked good, and they removed pre checked cross selling. Here are the conclusions I have come to. 1. Quality over quantity. Quite frankly I would rather join a network that has 30 decent downloadable scenes out of 80 than 50 downloadable scenes out of 1000. I'd rather have fewer scenes to download, than spend hours searching through a mass of, for me, uninteresting scenes (I was tempted to put "rubbish" instead of "uninteresting scenes" but one man's meat...). That way I end up with fewer downloadable scenes but have spent less time sifting through what I consider to be uninteresting material/rubbish. If I had unlimited time to view porn it would be okay, but I don't. I want to spend that time viewing great stuff, not hours sifting through material just to find a couple of scenes half way worth keeping. I have sympathy with webmasters because everyone has different tastes. I am not saying what I like is good and what I don't like is bad, I am simply looking at it from my point of view. From my perspective I would rather find fewer scenes on a smaller site, but with a higher downloadable strike rate, meaning I spend a higher proportion of that time viewing great material. 2. Price doesn't matter. Well it does sort of. As someone who used to buy vhs videos, going by those prices, I have probably downloaded about $500,000 worth of material from subscribed sites, stored on one small 1TB external drive. However if material between sites is always the same or very similar, obviously I am going to go for the cheapest or best deal. 3. Don't try to trick me you fucking bastards. That sums it up perfectly. Pre checked cross sells, regional discrimination, unstated download limits, and preview clips which aren't in the subscription, piss me off. At one time I would only subscribe to sites like that if they had outstanding and unique material. Now my attitude has hardened and I simply will not subscribe at all to any sites with these practices. I hope the sites who do use those cons, go to the wall. I have absolutely NO qualms about ripping them off by downloading their material for free. In fact I feel good about it. For the record here are the sites I looked at and discounted. Some sites appear twice as they practice both cross selling and regional discrimination. Regional discrimination - Mofos Network, SpunkyBee/Tin Seks/Teenburg, Anal Tryouts/Russian Teens Club/Slovak Teens Club/Sextronix, Reality Gang, Cum Louder, Home Girls Party. I am sure you are aware of the kind of network that produces good material, but they just can't stop themselves from mass producing more and more of the same type of material using the same models, over and over and over and over. It may be well produced but personally there is only so much of a girl I want to see. It's a small type of con but it's annoying when they have 36 sites that all look the same and all use the same "house models." It pads out the perceived content - and pisses me off. Now let's look at the latest 14 updates, you may feel you recognise some of these (any resemblance between these and real networks is purely intentional). Laura and Sergei have sex in bed on Bedtime Bonkers. Lara has sex outside with Chuck on Natural Bangers. Laura has sex with Sergei and Chuck on DP Dynamos. Laura and Lara play with some toys on Lesbian Sex Orgy. Lara gets out of the shower and has sex with Sergei on Wet And Wild. Laura takes it up the ass on Fantasstic Fuckers. If you find great material don't lose it. I learned the hard way, but that was before I found out about external drives. I was vaguely aware of them, but didn't know exactly what they did, and anyway thought they would be too difficult for me to use. Nowadays external drives rule: I even backup the backup, because one day your external drive will fail. It's inevitable. 5. This is still the golden age of porn, given the amount and price of material. PU members will sit young kids on their knee (just before the police knock down the door), tell them tales, and fill them with fear about times when there were no computers, no downloadale porn, and the only pictures of people having any kind of sex at all were illegal and would cause their distributors to go to prison for a very long time. This meant you could either buy a new Ferrari or third generation vhs video of The Devil In Miss Jones. Well that's it, if anyone is interested. I don't post often nowadays as I simply don't have enough time to bore the shit out of everyone. I also have less time to view porn, but that's okay because I don't get jaded, but I clearly do get pissed off. I don't mind paying for something, but I want to be the one to decide. I don't want to pay for something then discover I have either bought something else or haven't bought what I originally thought. | |

Okay I've had enough. What of? Fucking pre checked cross selling that's what. Tonight I was about to sign up to 18xGirls. Great price, but they tried to con me into signing up to VideosZ. Below is the mail I sent to customer support. I am fed up with this bullshit. Trying to con people out of their money is not on. I guess I am a one man show on this but I feel so strongly about it I thought it was time to at least stand up and be counted. This is what I put: "Pre checked cross selling is a pet hate of mine. I am a member of Porn Users and post there regularly. I have always hated sites who try to con punters out of their money. If it wasn't a con then the box would be UNCROSSED and left to the individual to cross. Obviously it is there to deceive and hope punters don't notice it, and then be too embarrassed to complain to their credit card company. This is why free download sites do so well. The porn industry is full of people who try to rip off customers, and those who can't be trusted sadly hurt the bona fide trustworthy sites. You have lost a customer in me, and give the industry a bad name. I will be signing up with someone else. You are obviously far too shady to give any credit card details to. I shall be posting this on Porn Users. I hope us consumers can support the genuine sites who deserve our support. End pre checked cross selling. After warnings today from Shooterbo concerning credit card details apparently already known, and PinkPanther describing some seriously dodgy behaviour from Reality Junkies is is time for some of the best companies to club together and form some sort of union? I am talking about a code of practice, resulting in a badge for the best ones, who deliver at the high end of customer satisfaction. It shouldn't be left to TBP/PU because that would cost them money. They can only go so far as they are a business who profit from promoting online porn. Distinguishing between the good from the bad themselves could mean a fall in profits, but maybe the online porn industry as a whole should have some sort of code, and the best ones should get together as a type of union specialising in good customer relations. Things like pre checked cross sales and regional discrimination means you don't qualify of course. At a time when the legit companies are having their margins squeezed due to free downloads, it's time the best ones clubbed together with a code of practice, so that we as customers could support them (with our pockets). | |

After logging in for the first two days of WTF Pass membership, I logged in after the weekend only to find I could not access any of the sites. I mailed both WTF support and also the mail address on the password page to no avail. No reply, nothing to give a reason for the lock out. After giving it more than 24 hours I contacted Epoch. They replied within a couple of hours, and said they would try to do get me access again. They were true to their word. At least WTF replied to them. The one thing that surprised me was the reason given for the lock out. Maybe I am slightly paranoid in thinking they didn't like my comment in the Comments section of Porn Users, and that was the reason for the lockout, or maybe the reason is a genuine one. If so, that has never happened to me before, though I have heard of it happening to others. I use one computer from one place, and don't share passwords. Whatever happened, I would like to say a big thanks to Epoch. I cancelled my membership to WTF after their lack of response to my four emails, and would not join again, but Epoch are one of the best. Thanks Epoch. Below is a part of the mail where it states the reason for being locked out. "Hello. This user has been suspended by our security system with following messages: 50 login attempts by thesquirrel from 19 IP ranges in 6 countries 11 successful logins by thesquirrel from 8 IP ranges in 3 countries People from too many countries using this username. The following is a waste of time, but for once I have a few minutes where I can relax and write a load of rubbish. None of the ideas will be used, and nothing is going to happen. Purely for the sake of conversation here are a few ideas which I think would improve PU. For the record TBP imo is close to perfection in the way it is set out. Here are my suggestions for a few tweaks to PU. 1. Give the User Poll a week, or at the very least, a minimum of five days, to allow everyone to register a vote (yes I know you can still register a vote after months, but by that time an old poll is out of site and out of mind). It also allows a conversation surrounding the poll to be built up and stimulate ideas and opinions. 2. Keep a newbie's review from being official until he has built up ten points not five. 3. At the same time do not allow any trust voting to be awarded until that newbie status is complete. A new user called qualitycontrol was hit with a negative trust vote for a short review. The review may be short but that doesn't exactly make a new user feel welcome, and I don't think he deserved a negative. We need to allow time for members to develop. This site is hurt if new users are not encouraged. 4. Do not award cash draw tickets for trust votes. 4. Announcements - one every year seems inadequate. Maybe there is no news, but how about feedback from those in control, even if it is something like mentioning how to use the site properly. For instance, I never even noticed you could add favourite members until that poll appeared. I thought it was just for favourite porn sites. In fact overall we need more feedback and comments from Rick, Khan, Vegas Ken, whoever. I don't agree that PU is about the users. It isn't, and shouldn't be. It is Rick's site, and he and Khan are in charge. I don't mind that at all, in fact I would like to see more of them around, and contributing. 5. Only the best comments should be awarded cash draw tickets. In fact there should be two different types of comment: The review comment and the comment comment. For instance - "Does anyone know if this site uses Russian models?" or "is this site still updating?" or "the download speed has dropped recently," should be separate from the review comments. 6. Two tier reviews. The first review on the home page should be a top drawer review, and the second should be one that is not quite top drawer. That way all new reviews get a chance to be on the home page, but a good review is never replaced by a poor one. There should be room for two new reviews on the home page. 7. Late addition. It's an old one but - end anonymous trust voting. Not world changing or PU changing. I would ask though to mostly refrain from hitting new users with negative trust votes. It's a shame the Miss Aphrodite thread and link was taken down. Presumably this was considered as overstepping the line, but considering the shills that were shamelessly promoting their stuff here last year, this seems to be quite mild in comparison. I am one who would have been pleased to be part of the fun. Is there a way we can continue this and be part of the fun without it being banned? | |

A good question. I've been trying to find a video site worthy of my money. I hate Video Box because they don't give a toss about their customers, and their perspective on a lot of the videos is wrong. I didn't join VideosZ because of the pre checked cross selling. With American Vice you joined, got great customer service and great picture quality. No one tried to rip you off. There doesn't appear to be one satisfactory video site out there. I don't want 10 million videos, just a thousand with reasonable choice, reasonable quality, and reasonable customer service. I mentioned on Messmer's VB review how angry I am. I'm always angry. I am still angry about the way the American people treated Obama in the recent elections. One thing to cheer me up when there's a big tragedy and Americans are killed is I console myself with the thought that half of them are Republicans. I really do think like that. I really am that angry. All the time. Two reviews by Pat and Ik2Fireone recently concerning the Teen Mega World and Teen Burg networks sparked my interest. Several months ago I said I was considering joining a new network, but didn't know which one, as so many of them either have pre checked cross selling or regional discrimination. I ended up joining one of those free file sharing sites and downloading from there. Fuck you VideosZ and the rest of you who have regional discrimination or pre checked cross sales. Think I need the influence of Raging Buddhist to calm me down a bit. Where to go? I have the money and am willing to give it to a worthy site or network. Not sure at the moment, but any site with dirty tricks does not get my money no matter how good their material is supposed to be. Porn Pros is another one I would join but avoid like the plague. There's a big cloud over that one. Did they threaten to break Rick's legs or made him an offer he couldn't refuse? What happened to turn this shady outfit into one that now gets the thumbs up from TBP? Not sure where I'm going next with my money. Until I find something worthy I'm continuing to download for free. | |

A lunatic asylum the way things are going. But apart from that cheery thought, I have been considering which site to join next. It's a right motley bunch. Contenders are 18Eighteen, Team Skeet, New Sensations, and VideosZ. I have noticed the biggest controversy seems to surround VideosZ. I am well aware of the drawbacks of New Sensations, but you know, this is the only one of the four that doesn't try to steal your money by tricking you with pre checked cross sells. I have avoided joining a pre checked cross sell site for nearly two years. Given half a chance I would grab whoever is responsible for that sort of behaviour by the throat, and rip out his fucking larynx. Unless he's bigger than me, then I would hire someone to do it. Apart form this I am intrigued by the Diggler review which seems a little harsh. I can always trust a Denner review and there are also some other trusted reviewers giving this one a high mark. I also noticed the Diggler/Ace Of Aces feud. The truth is out there somewhere but this site seems to divide opinion. It will probably be New Sensations. They have pics, and don't have pre checked cross sells, so I wont have the urge to kill anyone when I join. | |

This should probably be called something like Rodent Rant. It may fall short of one of Wittyguy's polemics but it is still a long ramble. First of all, sad though it may be, I spend hours doing a review. I do actually view the material and sample the site that I review, which is why I only do 3 or 4 a year. If it's a good site I hope the review brings customers to the site. It is clear that regular members also put in the same effort. Admittedly it is just for fun. Then along comes the 3 line newbie review consisting of great girls, great videos, great pics, what more can you ask, 100. This then becomes the front page review, which in all honesty, can't be that good for business. I already have a solution to the menace of the 3 line newbie review, but it will offend everyone, so I wont repeat it again here. However, the reviews section would be easier to navigate without having to negotiate those minimum requirement reviews. I believe business would also be better as it would generate more links. I regard them as a bloody nuisance that gets in the way of my browsing. Secondly, members here already know there is a limited style of porn available. The companies churn it out, it sells so they churn more of it out. When someone starts slapping the ass of the girl or shouting "you're a whore, what are you, you're a whore" while pulling the girls mouth so hard her eyes pop out, and it sells, everyone does the same, and you have everything looking the same. Occasionally someone tries something different and if it sells, everyone copies it. Most of us here hate what mainstream porn is doing. Anything outside that is niche. Messmer wants a site where he can watch women strip fom clothed to totally naked, with some lingerie involved, and there's nothing out there. I would like to see hardcore pics and videos with the same style and quality that you see on good softcore sites, but it's hard to find. I love to see the ass but for the most part I like to see the whole body, whether it is softcore or hardcore. I was discussing this with Drooler in another section, but I think we have both come to the conclusion that softcore has higher standards than hardcore. This may be perverse but I think some of the best hardcore photos come from the real cheapo sites. For instance, Jaw Dropping Asses has some great photos. You get to see the whole girl with the accent on the ass. It's another niche site of course, for big butt fans, but the photos are to my taste. Is this because they spend less money, so all they do is just take the photos of the girl having sex? No need to spend time and money on those close ups which would have even a gynaecologist throwing up in his corn flakes. I just can't work out why the can't do a Metart or Torrid Art job for hardcore. Fact is they can't, or maybe they wont. I wont touch the Brazzers Naughty America Reality Kings blow up dolls sites. Sounds silly but I don't want the girls to look like porn stars. I like the natural look. Somewhere along the line someone decided that the best look was the porn stars hookers clothes, the breast jobs, and the baked tan. It's mainstream porn and it sells. Suppose I can't argue with that. But why has it evolved in this way? Why would what Messmer wants or what I want or what you lot want be relatively rare? Most of the members here have already said what they think about the irritating male, the tats, the fake breasts, slapping the ass, the usual 20 or so irritating things that everyone here hates. Wonder why this is, and why our tastes are different to mainstream? I know it isn't that everyone here has identical taste. It's just we all seem to have the same top 20 annoying things or turn offs. Not all pervs are the same, but it appears most of what mainstream puts out is hated by us. Has it evolved like this? Is it easier to make? Is that what most people really want? Do they consume it like a porn McDonalds? It's easy and everyone consumes it so it must be okay. It's nice to see some genuine small sites still producing good quality material. We are still spoilt for choice. But the mainstream stuff doesn't even seem like mainstream. Go back 10 years and anyone looking at mainstream material now would be highly surprised at the content of the modern production. What is the best site for seeing the whole girl or the whole body rather than some gynaecologists nightmare? I know some of this has all been gone into before. The recession is biting. Standards seem to have fallen. Fewer updates and some dirty tricks are still around. Old material recycled as new. That means companies will play safe and do more of the same. I'm not jaded. I just want to see females looking like females. Strange thing is, on a lot of these sites they don't. So if I want a site where females look like females, real ones, where you get to see the whole girl/woman, it's a niche. I was just wondering why people leave this forum. I am someone who is a member of a few forums, as many of you are. The only reasons I have had for leaving a forum were because, either there was censorship that I did not like, or because I did not like the owners or moderators. I am still wondering why Cybertoad left without a word of farewell. I sort of feel guilty because I called him a lawyer, and disagreed with him over the blacklist of rogue sites. But even then I could see his point. I hope that wasn't part of what made him leave, he was one of my favourites. Looking down the list I can see a number of people who used to contribute but no longer do. There will be periods when I will not be visiting this site, or I may leave because of a disagreement over censorship, or whatever, but I find it strange that people sort of disappear without a word of goodbye, especially when the forum seems to consist of people who can argue without getting really angry or silly. There seems to be a genuine feeling of bonhomie amongst most members. I wonder what makes them leave and why. If any of you leave, will you say goodbye, or just leave? I absolutely hate sites that are filled with girls that have tattoos and/or fake breasts. I know I am not alone. It's the reason I would never join Brazzers, Reality Kings, or Naughty America sites. Virtually every girl on those sites seem to have either a tattoo or fake breasts, or both. What do you think are the sites with the best tattoo or fake breast ratio? My guess is the best TR or FBR would be around 50 per cent on any site. It seems at least 50 per cent of girls in porn now have at least one of those, and the best site would probably be one that only has 50 per cent of girls with one of those mutilations. | |

Yes here it is. Totally unwanted and not asked for by anybody. This is what my review of PU would be if reviewing for another site. Rating 83 Pros Surprisingly intelligent members who can discuss things and argue without falling out and resorting to insults. Generally objective and intelligent reviews containing both pros and cons. The site is run by the amiable Rick and managed by the crusty but amiable Khan. They make enough contributions so the site does not become something run by a faceless corporation, while at the same time managing not to over interfere or intrude. The whole layout and look of the site is very customer friendly. Everything is linked in a very effective and easy to use way. Some good bargains for members when they use links from PU to reviewed sites. There seems to be some integrity with PU, as the real rogue sites do at least carry some sort of warning, but you really have to search. Members are genuine fans of porn, and are for the most part given a free reign to say what they wish, without censorship. Cons The site is a business which makes money by linking to the sites that are reviewed. This means it is bad business to be too critical, so not everything on the site can be trusted. There is no list of rogue sites, for instance. There are far too many reviews by newbies some of whom, are really lousy at reviewing. Too many reviews by members who just seem to join sites in order to review and then continuously give ridiculously high marks. There is too much quantity which buries the quality. By its very nature, the site falls to the lowest common denominator at times, resulting in difficulty sifting the majority of rubbish from the genuine quality. A system that awards comments, reviews or trust votes with raffle tickets can unbalance the objectivity of opinions. There is too much concentration on the reviews and too little on the forum, which is more relaxed. The problem here is the same as with any other forum: there are too few regular members who contribute. The raffle tickets are given for reviews which results in the forum being the poor relation. Bottom Line An entertaining and enjoyable site which contains some integrity. Most of the opinions seem to be open and honest. There seems to be too much rubbish to sift through, but at the same time management does not want to discourage anyone fron contributing. It's just at times there is TOO MUCH information available, and you really do have to work to find some opinions from the more reliable members, who have tastes similar to your own. | |

Here's one very few are going to agree with. I shall take Khan's reply as already given. I thought it would be a great idea to have 2 and 3 point reviews as separate from the rest. The reason for this is, I like to see the better reviews rather than the poor ones when selecting which site to join. Yes I can, and do, sift through them, but there are so many, to my mind, poor reviews that are virtually worthless, they get in the way of the worthwhile ones. I'm a relative newbie myself and don't want to discourage people. I would just like to see a place where you can see the better reviews all together. Sometimes you get a newbie doing about 10 reviews that all look the same, with little worthwhile information, and then the other reviews are buried underneath. I hope no one has brought this point up before. I have looked through the posts and haven't seen anyone suggest this. If I took some time I could probably type Khan's reply for him - hmm let's see - we don't wish to discourage any reviews, the difference between one and two point reviews is very narrow, most members want to look at all the reviews so having this policy would be pointless, logistically it would be very time consuming and difficult to do, we don't wish to distinguish between reviews, members wouldn't want us to distinguish between reviews and are capable of sorting through them, they want to look at all the reviews in the same place and to separate them would make the site even more complicated and difficult to access...Howzat? Has anyone else felt they have been deliberatley misled by regional pricing? I use the word "deliberately," deliberately. I have found in the past CCBill to be very bad on this. I have signed up for dollars only to be charged a rip off exchange rate. Khan say this is not an exchange rate but regional pricing. I accept this concept if it is truly the case. When this really is the case, I would like the price to be shown up front, and clear. They should make clear that the price in dollars is not what you will be charged in Europe. They should make clear the price you will actually be paying in your own currency. I have on a number of occasions been charged a rip off exchange rate by billing agents. It seems CCBill is really the worst. In these cases I have only been charged in dollars. At no point in the transaction did I see pounds or euros mentioned. If it is going to be done it should be made clear that this is the case. To pay in dollars and find out you have been truly ripped off is pretty disgusting though. When you pay, before you press any buttons, it should be made clear the amount you are paying in your own currency. How many of you have been ripped off or felt you have been ripped off? I know the answer is quite a few, so I will use this thread as a little campaign. What about the idea that anything you sign up for HAS to have the EXACT amount you are paying in your own currency, and HAS to be the exact one you are eventually billed for? Anything else should be illegal. I think a number of you have signed up, or believed you have signed up for an amount in dollars, only to find the amount you eventually pay is way over the top. I don't believe much in coincidence, so I believe this is a case of billing agents being deliberatley deceptive. One more thing. When you buy dollars or any currency, you receive the exact amount in that currency in cash, charges included. It isn't a case of "oh there's a few more charges involve," or "oh of course your currency went down so you're getting less than originally quoted." It can be worked out on the spot what you get. Okay, I know 95 per cent of you wont be interested in this thread, but I sort of said I'd do this. So to the two I promised, who will actually be interested here it is. A very small guide to spanking on the internet. It was going to be about perversion in general. Or we could call them niche sites....no, lets stick with perversion, it's more honest. But this would be too long, and since only about two of you are interested anyway... Some of the sites aren't listed here so it's clear PU just finds them too offensive. I have to admit a lot of the stuff is not my bag at all. But a favourite of mine has always been spanking. If you're new to this I would thoroughly recommend the site devoted to spanking on the internet run by John O'Connell and David Pierson. It's truly excellent. It's called "The Consumer's Spanking Video News And Reviews." It's totally free and I think offers some of the best objective opinions on spanking. The address is www.spreview.net - hope I'm allowed to print that. A mention should go to the Realspankings people too, as they run their own forum. It is run by people who are clearly into spanking. I got into an argument on that forum. There was someone who called the people at Mood Productions "sadistic scum" and all sort of things, because of the strength of the punishments handed out. I argued that the rest of the world considered us all sadistic scum for enjoying spanking. Along with someone else who supported my view, we said that if you like spanking, and label someone "sadistic scum" just for the strength of the spanking handed out, you are on very thin ice indeed. For the record Mood Productions are indeed the strongest spankings available on the internet. Realspankings deliver light to reasonably strong spankings. Most of it is around the medium strength. The site is the Video Box of spanking. There's tons of stuff, but is arranged in such a haphazard way that you really have to search it out. The best spanker IMO, Lady D, has left. Mr M is still there. They have moved location to a bigger studio and are shooting for the first time in nearly two years. The thing that really bugs me about Realspankings is there are too many spankings over clothes. Some spankers love this. I hate it. One of the biggest drawbacks to a Russian Slaves clip is that it looks like the producers hand them over to be edited by a blind chimpanzee and his guide dog. The chimpanzee decides where to cut, and the guide dog sticks them together with his paws, using sellotape and scissors. It's that bad. You see action clearly duplicated. You hear "stop" followed by exctly the same action from a different angle, followed by the word "stop" again. The action is good but is spoilt by awful editing and all round lousy acting and production. Incidentally, this is the same blind chimpanzee and guide dog who officiated in the MLB World Series, and can currently be seen every week in the NFL. The action from Russian Slaves is not as hard as Mood and generally a bit harder than Realspankings. But some are surprisingly light, including the more recent ones. Spanking Server is the Pain4Fem download site. The action is medium to quite severe, but the drawback is you cannot download all the videos available. Your memebership only gives you the right to download all the recent updates. So you cannot get access to their considerable catalogue without paying extra. I have never joined this site although I do have some of their clips. Punished Brats, Firmhand Spanking and Dallas Spanks Hard all run medium strength sites that the aficionados seem to love. In fact Dallas seems to have a great reputation for customer service, quite often dealing with any problems himself and sorting them out very quickly. Just behind Mood in harshness is Hard Caning, which is the download site of Caned4cash. Caned4cash is sadly gone and Hard Caning has had only one update in a year. I hate Lupus because I sent them cash for some DVD's which they said was short. I counted out the money carefully about ten times before sending it, so I know it was all there. I don't particularly like their product that much nowadays, anyway. Their earlier stuff was much better. I have no moral problems about downloading any of their stuff from free download sites. One thing of note is the implements used. Americans primarily use paddle and strap, whereas Europeans use the cane. Better end it here. I don't want to be another soap boxer. The reviews on here and on TBP are great. But there is one criticism that I think is deserved, and that is the marking. I can understand why TBP gives such high marks. Nearly all review sites do this. They give higher marks than is maybe deserved. All review sites earn their income from porn sites. I don't mind that in the slightest, and I think everyone realises this and doesn't mind as long as the review is fair. A score of 90-99 means near perfect. I can't think of ANY sites out there that are near perfect, at least not from the reviews, and all the cons that are listed against even the best sites. TBP started marking a lot of sites in the high 80's and 90's. This meant that the people at PU also marked along the same lines. The bar was already very high. Too high in my opinion. TBP is a great site, I just learned to read between the lines and realise a score in the 90's did not necessarily mean a site was that great. I think we need a new sort of scoring, or at least adjustment in scoring so that the very best sites stick out. Okay, this is just my opinion and no offence is meant to TBP. They were usually the first reviews I would go to, and I still think it's the fairest and best site for reviews. It's just with so many scores in the 90's there is nowhere to go, in scoring, for those sites that are unique and truly deserving of a 90 (a near perfect site). The scoring is already so high that a score of 95 now doesn't mean a lot, or at least not as much as it should do. This for me is the one negative about TBP and PU. It is not a great negative, because if you read the reviews, you can make up your own mind without really worrying about the score too much. What do you think? Edited on Nov 27, 2008, 10:10am | |

I always like to see reviews of smaller sites, rather than yet one more review of a site we all know about. Wittyguy, Drooler, Monahan and the rest of you all seem to know a lot about what's good and what isn't. (Almost descended into cliche and said "what's hot and what's not.") I love those reviews of smaller sites. I also know one or two of you take "hits" as well, in the name of curiosity! You find the occasional rogue site that's absolute rubbish, and then inform the rest of us and save us some money. This is great, and one of the reasons why this site is so good. What I want to ask is what are your favourite small or underrated sites that we should all know about? I know there are some great sites out there, but one or two seem to get ignored. I think Denner mentioned how he loved "Devils Film" and how he considered it totally underrated and unsung. There are a few sites that seem well loved on here, and maybe there's a good reason for this. Maybe the others aren't as good. But when I checked out "Video Box" I was disappointed to a certain extent, but I loved the quality available on "Pink Visual." I do like a site that has very good quality video. I suppose we're all spoilt nowadays with so many affordable good quality sites, so I'm being a little fussy in looking for some obscure ones. I'm from the UK, so I guess I love an underdog.
