I understand that Jesse Jane had substance abuse issues, wouldn't be surprised if there were some fentanyl in whatever she took - that shit's a stone killer. My fondest memory of Jesse was seeing her do a live-stream, introducing fans to Bibi Jones for the first time. Fans were going bananas for Bibi and Jesse was delighted - "Do I know what you guys like, or what?" Now that I'm a senior citizen, someone dying at the age of 43, they're practically a teenager to me. R.I.P.

Masuimi Max I spent a bunch of time with via her webcam shows when I was a member of her site. She was always such a cool friendly person, she didn't strip or do much of that kind of stuff on her webcam shows, she'd just chat, and it was fine, because she was fun and interesting and her husband was always watching car shows in the background so we'd always be listening to the sounds of huge engines revving, which somewhow was the perfect soundtrack. Surprised to hear of her dying so young since she always took good care of herself, ate healthy so she was in shape to travel and model and do her shows, which she was still doing semi-regularly. the world is a bit less wonderfully weird place now. RIP, Masuimi. You were 1 of a kind!

There's an interesting phenomenon in porn social media lately where certain performers/directors are increasingly fed up with stereotypical porn.

Daisy Taylor - DaisyTayTay on her instagram - went into a full-fledged rant yesterday about how angry she is about it, both about the "oh-my-god, you have a cock" stereotypes of most story-based trans porn and also the racist fetishing of Black men in porn, concentrated in the material on DogFart's network.

Mike Quasar has been a leading director/producer since the earliest days of Zero Tolerance and has been going on in his sardonic sarcastic way for a long time about how bored he is shooting one step-family scene after another and how sad he is at the performers he doesn't get to work with because they don't fit the iimited view of female beauty/roles in industry porn.

Janice Griffith's beef is both with the industry stereotypes but also with fans' expectations of performers on social media - the fans who think that because she's posting on social media that she should be available for them to ask out on dates, and that any limits she puts on her engagement with fans shows that she's just a money-grubbing slut. Or the fans that want her to feed their fetishes by talking about her worst experiences in porn.

Elsa Jean recently did an interview with Holly Randall talking about how she was done with shooting for porn studios after 1 too many experience that drilled home for her that porn studios are not taking care of the well-being of their performers. With OnlyFans, she can make content where she is in complete control and has built her brand to where she doesn't need to work for studios that don't protect her.

Personally I like that we get to see this stuff brought up. I think it's good to question what we as fans are encouraging in terms of treatment of performers both physcially and emotionally and how happy we would be with less stereotypical porn.

For me, part of the problem is that I don't like the porn being made by directors/producers that are all about the story - that would really rather be making mainstream movies - because they really don't care about the sex scenes and it shows. Their sex scenes are crap and since I watch porn for the sex scenes, their content doesn't interest me. My absolute favorite scenes are those where I feel like the performers are going on a sexual adventure together - my favorite scene of the past few years was Rocco with Janice Griffith and Alexis Tae - it was intense and unique, the women looked incredible and it felt like they were all in on the experience. I like porn that fetishes women's bodies - butts, sexy clothes, legs, breasts, etc - because it's exciting stuff. While I like a lot of anal porn, I really question how healthy it is for the performers, especially when they're working a lot. I especially question how healthy the stunt-porn being produced in Europe is with the multi-man anal gang-bangs, etc. It's hot stuff, but is it damaging to the performers? I suspect so.

I'd do more reviews of Asian DVD sites, a fave genre of mine, if they were listed in PU/TBP's registry of sites, but the sites don't give PU/TBP the info they need, so...

I thought I'd start a forum thread to collect some info on this genre - feel free to delete the thread if this breaks rules I'm not aware of:

ActionJAV is my favorite of this genre because I like frequent updates and Action JAV updates with 10 new updates almost every single day - I can recall a day or 2 that they failed to do so. The updates used to be 10 full DVD's from a variety of Japanese studios. I find full DVD's infinitely more interesting than the selected scenes that some of the most prominent Japanese DVD sites post - the set-up, the tease, etc, can be really entertaining - if not, you can skip to the action. Probably as a result of fan feedback, Action JAV is now uploading a mix of Japanese DVD's, which always include mosaic/masking of vaginas and penises with uncensored/leaked material, some Japanese, some Chinese. Most of this uncensored/leaked material is much more amateurish than the Japanese DVD's being put out by major studios, and sometimes there is just 1 actual scene with a bunch of ads. But as I say, there are 10 updates per day so you would hardly be begging for more material. One caveat with this site is that they make room for new material by taking down old material without warning, so you may try to stream or download a listed DVD from several years ago and find that it is not available - There is also not a lot of new work being done to list new material under the performer's name, so you may have to search under the performer's name to find all of the material on the site featuring that performer rather than being able to click on her name. But that's the price one pays for having them continue with the main selling point of the site - 10 updates per day. There also are not a lot of download options - there is one - most full DVD's are in the
6 gb range - some double-DVD updates are close to 20 gb to dl. I have never run into a download limit with this site.

The other site I like a lot is JSexNetwork. JSexNetwork has a much more complicated design because they have a section of gravure - really cool and extensive but not updated in years, AV Movie Express - I don't know what the point of this section is - it really just points you to their DBank page, which is where all new updates of official Japanese porn are located, various pages of amateur and uncensored material, the DBank listing of official Japanese porn and the New Stuff listing, which is where you can peruse everything being added to the site. They don't update every single day. They don't have a set schedule. On days when they do update, they update with 2 or 4 DVD's, some of which are official Japanese porn and some of which are leaked uncensored material, including material involving top Japanese pornstars of the present or the past, like Mihiro. Most of their official Japanese porn (with mosaic) is offered in 2 download options - the larger is usually about 5 gb to download, the smaller is less. This site puts a lot more effort into updating the performer's movie lists and in making sure that their catalogue continues to all be available than does ActionJAV. The trade off is that this site will average 60 updates in a month while ActionJAV will average 300.

Anybody else have favorite sites in this genre? I remember reading a review by Exotics of an Asian DVD site that included English translation, but danged if I can find it - I remember AsiaMoviePass used to be a good site years ago, but COVID might have killed it because looking at the site now, it shows 0 updates since May 16, 2020. I don't know if I'm the first one to notice that Jay sin content was now gone from Evil Angel's site or the only one not to have paid attention to what happened to him, but I just discovered tonight that his content was all gone from Evil Angel and when I did the google thing I found this from late March 2022:

Evil Angel (c/o founder John Stagliano)

Recently Jay Sin was convicted and imprisoned for "Access with Intent to View Child Pornography, in violation of Title 18 of the United States Code - Section 2252 (a) (4) (B)."

Evil Angel has decided to remove all Jay Sin's content from our online distribution. A conviction of a sexually related crime is against the ethics of Evil Angel. I was informed of his indictment, conviction, and incarceration over the weekend and that was confirmed to me yesterday.

Jay Sin's conviction is not related to any content distributed by Evil Angel. None of it was involved with, or contains, any criminal activity.

The details on how to handle content from Jay Sin that has been marketed by Evil Angel customers, either through the Internet or by DVD, can be worked out by calling Alexandra Kelley in the Evil Angel offices alex@evilangel.com or by emailing me directly at john@evilangel.com.

Well, that's freaking awful.

If you've got a membership with a Gamma/Fame site and you see a tempting offer for an add-on membership - like if you've got a membership to Adult Time and you see an offer to join Evil Angel for life for some ridiculously low price - while the offer is a good one, a) their add-on offers don't include downloads, so you'll think you're getting a deal that includes downloads, then you'll find out very quickly that it does not and that you would be needing to spend a lot of other money for downloads and b) their system can't handle add-ons and you'll be having nothing but problems with your membership getting constantly de-activated for abuse. Here's an email I'm about to send after having these nightmares after getting a 1-month add-on membership to Zero Tolerance having Gamma/Fame deactivate my Evil Angel account just about every time I log into the damned thing:

This is the THIRD time you imbeciles have deactivated my account for some supposed abuse. The real problem - I took you up on an offer to join another one of your sites - Zero Tolerance - and every time I log into that site, you imbeciles deactivate my Evil Angel membership for the "abuse" of having given your stupid company MORE MONEY!

What the fuck? I will never ever ever ever make this mistake again.

I thought MindGeek was bad, but their company handles add-ons a million times better than Fame/Gamma does!

What’s happening to Pornhub is not a war on Pornhub, sexualabuse, or childtrafficking; it’s a war on sexwork. These supposed “activists” are rightwing, anti-porn, anti-feminist, anti-sexwork groups using unfortunate situations victims have had to endure, to push their own agenda. whether it be social media platforms treating us with extreme bias, politicians attempting to (and succeeding) in passing measures that further put us in danger, or evangelist groups trying to shut us down under the guise of “saving the children” like in this particular instance. They donate millions, head campaigns to better the world (not just in areas of human sexuality, but also the environment, feminism, etc.) and are proudly supported by much of mainstream media. If they can be taken down by such hate - who is next? How are we, as an industry, safe? Pornhub is the only big media platform that has human moderators screening every video before publishing - a fact that is highlighted in the data that Facebook has had 84 MILLION cases of Child Sexual Abuse Material reported in the last 3 years, and Pornhub has had 118. Total. Again, if even they are not safe - what does that mean for adult work?? I am most saddened because Pornhub has unapologetically stood as allies and defenders of us sex workers, when so many companies we work with have not. Thank u for reading all of this. I will always continue to live as my true horny self, and I will never give up on my right to do so. But I am scared. They have always worked with authority to catch these sick predators, and continue to search for ways to better prevent such videos from seeing the light of day. Recently, they banned and deleted ALL uploads from non-verified users. What’s scarier this time around for me - compared to any of the times before - is that Pornhub is arguably the biggest, most mainstream company our industry has ever seen. They are a household name, and have done more than any other company in the past to normalize sex work. I hope Visa and MasterCard see the harm they are doing to sex workers and the porn industry, but I’m not hopeful; they’ve never been our allies, and I doubt they will start now. It’s a very sad, disheartening time... but I can’t really say any of it is brand new. One thing all of these fights have in common, is that they are always led - dishonestly - in the name of “activism.” Please, I beg of you, do not be fooled by this. In the time I’ve been in porn, there has not been a single moment we sex workers have been free of this war; What’s happening to Pornhub is not a war on Pornhub, sexualabuse, or childtrafficking; it’s a war on sexwork. These supposed “activists” are rightwing, anti-porn, anti-feminist, anti-sexwork groups using unfortunate situations victims have had to endure, to push their own agenda.

I learned a valuable lesson when I started doing site reviews again. 90% of the time, though you can see that you are logged in at the top of the page, when you submit your site review, the site will wipe out everything you have written and tell you that you are not logged in and need to log in to do a site review. So ALWAYS - ALWAYS - copy your site review - or long posts to this forum - in a word doc before you hit post. You'll save yourself a world of frustration, if you do any kind of in-depth review.

I think there was only 1 time when the site did not do that to me when I was posting a recent site review. It sucks, but if you save your entire review to word, it's not that big of a hassle.

Oct. 2, 2020, 2:54 PM PDT
By Kate Zen, co-founder of Red Canary Song
On the day in August that former Disney star Bella Thorne joined OnlyFans, a subscription site known for adult content, she made $1 million. Before week’s end, she had made another million.

That was bad in itself. Sex workers are the majority of creators on the site, and here was a celebrity coming in and making more in a day than they could in a year. Many sex workers rely on OnlyFans as their sole source of income during the pandemic, as in-person encounters became unsafe. But what especially angered workers was how Thorne caused a wave of chargebacks that “broke OnlyFans” after fans accused her of promising a $200 pay-per-message nude photo that she then shied away from sending.

Many sex workers rely on OnlyFans as their sole source of income during the pandemic, as in-person encounters became unsafe.

Shortly thereafter, OnlyFans changed its terms and conditions, limiting max subscription and tip payments and extending payout time by 23 days in 14 countries where fraud risk is deemed highest. The company denies these changes were due to actions of any single user, but it’s hard to believe the backlash to Thorne didn’t factor into the decision.

To rub salt in the wound, Thorne’s sister Kaili responded to the controversy by seeming to dismiss and shame sex worker concerns. As Sinnamon Love, a long-time adult performer and founder of BIPOC Adult Industry Collective, noted on Instagram, it’s incredibly insulting for rich white women to come into an industry and start judging the people who actually live it. “You don’t get to create some false hierarchy and shame sex workers who are doing this labor because they don’t have access to the same WHITE PRIVILEGE you have.” (Love is also the director of Diversity, Equity and Inclusion at PeepdotMe, an adult platform and OnlyFans competitor being built that promises 90 percent payouts to creators, compared to the 80 percent paid on OnlyFans.)

There’s a lot to unpack here. But while the scandal has mostly died down, the problems it revealed remain worthy of our attention, especially as we head into fall and winter without a clear end to the Covid-19 pandemic in sight.

Lots more to the article. Use the link to see the whole thing.

Question for mods - are you cool with discounts being offered through other sites/forums being added to comments on sites listed at The Best Porn if TBP is not currently listing those discounts? I don't post here very often these days, don't know what your current preferences are, don't want to take any money away from TBP, while at the same time wanting to point members here onto hot deals that I run across. Let me know. I'll hold off until I see a response from a mod.

2 articles here got my attention.

https://avn.com/business/articles/video/...undaries-883549.html

The first one talking about the multiple women accusing Ryan Madison of violating them.

This will definitely keep me from re-subscribing to his sites, great as they are. As a fan of rough sex, I feel that it's incumbent on me to be sure that the sites I subscribe to are operating according to the highest ethical standards & taking care of their performers at the highest level. Clearly, that's not happening with Mr Madison.

The other article is about Aiden Starr announcing that she will no longer be working with Evil Angel or Kink.com because she feels that "Many of my projects when viewed by the public do more harm than good. I have been complicit and I apologize.”

I find very refreshing that John Stagliano said that he wants to have further discussions with Aiden before commenting further. Good for him. Too many people feel the need to shoot their mouths off based on very little understanding of the position that they're responding to. I'm glad that Stagliano has enough respect for Aiden & their relationship that he's going to put that first and let other people call him a coward if they want for him not shooting his mouth off. I wish more people followed his example.

Masuimi Max has been doing her site, under various different names, for a long time - at least since 2003/2004. And she's always been known for doing site redesigns and playing with the pricing. I have been a member at various points in time, though not for several years now, though I stop by every now and then to see what's up. Today I noticed on Twitter that she is really pushing people to join her OnlyFans instead of her site, badmax.com, so I took a look at the site to see what is up. You can't tell anymore whether it's updating, where she used to be pretty clear about updates, and the pricing is clearly not going to attract anybody - the current price for her site is $200 for 30 days - no, it's not a type - recurring at $25/month or $100 for 2 days - non-recurring. so apparently she realllllllyyy doesn't want anybody to join her site anymore. Everything she posts on the freeones board is encouraging people to join her onlyfans and to turn into her shows on CamSoda.

Anybody know what percentage of subscriptions OnlyFans takes vs ccbill or other credit card processors? Perhaps that's the reason for the new business model.

If one joins a site that has stream-only video and one uses a video capture utility that came with your OS and one uses it to capture stream-only video for one's own personal enjoyment and does not disseminate that video on pirate sites, is one being ethical or unethical? Or is it all just a personal question.

Personally, I think it's fine. I'm glad I found the tool. It works amazingly well, the captured video is glorious and the files are not very big.

For whatever reason, there was no feedback on the status of this site in terms of when it might be listed again, so I'll post about it here instead. I'll say at the start that I'm a fan of authentic Japanese porn - yes, with the mosaic. Why? Because it's bonkers and it's totally different from U.S. porn. Where U.S. porn will show you female performers in their outfits for short periods of time, you'll probably get 1/2 an hour of the outfits being worn and then removed piece by piece. The tease is so much more extensive in Japanese porn than it is in U.S. porn - and tease is one of my favorite elements in porn. Whereas U.S. porn has to deal with P.C. restrictions like making sure the female performer let's you know that the non-consensual seeming scene really was consensual or making sure that the "daughter" in an incest scene is really a step-daughter, no such restrictions exist in Japanese porn. Teachers are attacked by their students, by the administration, by other teachers, by parents, etc. Nubile girls are attacked on buses, at home, at the grocery store, you name it.

ActionJav is, at this point, the cream of the crop in accessing authentic Japanese porn, uploading 10 complete DVD's PER DAY. And this is not bargain basement scrape-the-bottom-of-the-barrel crap. This is Moodyz and Attackers and Minimum and idea pocket, etc, etc. And they're not chopping up the DVD's into individual scenes to make it look like they're presenting more material than they are. These are complete DVD's. The range of material is the gamut from cutey-pie stuff and vanilla porn to crazy rough fantasy stuff - and an increasing amount of the crazy rough fantasy stuff being uploaded lately, I guess as a reflection of what their members want.

In terms of resolution, it looks like most of their vids are at 480p and a 2 hour DVD will be about 1.5 gb. They also upload 1080p versions of some of the most popular titles - and those look extraordinary. Those files are about 4.5 gb for a 2 hour DVD. If they started doing 720p versions, that'd be nice. Perhaps they will. If I had another request, it would be having sets of screenshots to download from the DVD's. That'd be very cool. As it is, even when the site looks like you'll be able to get more than a thumb-sized view of any photo or screenshot, when you click on the link, you get nothing. Such is life.

I know some Japanese porn sites make a big deal of posting uncensored porn. This site might have 1 or 2 uncensored DVD's in their collection. They don't promote them because it's not what they're about. There is very little uncensored authentic Japanese porn being produced and if you're going to see the best of the current crop of authentic Japanese porn, you're going to deal with mosaic - period.

I find the site easy to search by model or to peruse the models and find hot ones and you can search by keywords as well to find scenes you might enjoy. Older DVD's sometimes have member-submitted reviews, which is a nice extra feature to stumble across. You can also click on "recommended", member-rated DVD's etc. You can also stumble across DVD's that have been given weekly awards for hottest DVDs, but I don't see that you can search by that, and it doesn't exactly mesh with the "recommended" list so the site has some eccentricities in that regard. Anyway, that's what I've got to say about this site for now.

He was one of those "average guy" character actors that the porn industry is always going to need - got to perform with lots of hotties, and apparently appreciated the opportunity to do so. Sounds like he was a genuinely cool human being. RIP, Kyle:

Well, Bonnie Rotten is back – and her cumback scene at Brazzers is a pretty loud statement that she’s back in the same crazy-ass form as made her so beloved by porn aficionados in the first place.

It makes me think of other notable porn star comebacks.
Shelley Rey had a brief career as a pretty, fairly vanilla porn babe in flicks such as All American Girls in Heat and California Valley Girls. I was always happy to see her, cause she was freaking gorgeous, but she wasn’t a particularly notable sexual performer. Then she came back re-invented as Debi Diamond, and holy fuck, she was a whole different animal. She was one of the most sexually aggressive porn performers of all time, game for anything, including being gang-banged in gravel (not my favorite scene of hers, but I've got to say that she looked hot even being gang-banged in gravel).

Careena Collins similarly was fairly vanilla in her first run, prior to law school. I liked everything she did in her early career, all the Jerome Tanner stuff, and the orgy scene in BabyFace 2 with Careena Collins as the bride-to-be getting fucked to hell and back by Jamie Gillis’ drunk stripper/demon is one of my all-time favorite porn scenes. But Careena Collins post-law school was a chip of Debi Diamond’s block. I’m not a fan of her most intense scenes, because I’m not turned on by women being beaten up for fucked while their face is forced into a toilet. But she did a ton of incredible stuff for Bruce Seven & Bianca, including her amazing double-team scene in Takin’ It To The Limit 6 – another of my all-time favorite porn scenes.

Then there are porn stars like Lisa Ann, who come back in I-still-got-it mode, not really adding anything to their repertoire, but looking good and giving solid performances.

With almost every working porn star creating their own OnlyFans sites - and with the sites themselves being positively opaque to non-members - no information beyond the number of videos, number of photos and the price - it seems like there's a real need for reviews of these sites - how often are they updated, how long are the videos, do the photo #'s refer to individual photos or photo sets, what is the quality of the material, etc.

Anybody seen any such thing? I haven't.

I thought this interview that Asa Akira did for her podcast with Christian XXX is pretty fascinating. Christian's unique in having been able to do pretty much all branches of porn - gay, straight, TS (both fucking and getting fucked), BBW, etc - and he has always been unflinchingly straight-forward and honest.

I saw a pic of Liam Riley - popular gay pornstar - and a whole bunch of Burning Angel stars along with Abella Danger - out together. It got me thinking "Would a bisexual-oriented site work?" Would it burn the talent for their future endeavors? I remember in the 80's there were some bisexual vids created and some of the talent - Bunny Bleu was one in particular I remember - were blacklisted as a result.

The incident with August Ames shows the concerns that are out there - I'm not trying to raise all of that again. I think it was completely legitimate for August to have concerns about her well-being. If people had facts to respond to those concerns, they should have shared them with no hostility included. But it does show some of what is in the way of doing such a site.

Then there's the matter of whether straight porn fans and gay porn fans would feel like "their" performers who took part in these scenes were tainted and stopped supporting those performers.

Certainly there's a lot of people out there that are either actively bisexual or have bisexual fantasies that could be addressed by such a site.

ChristianXXX is the only male performer I can think of in recent history that was able to go back and forth between TS performers and female perfomers, though I think he has gone to working exclusively with TS performers lately - by choice or not, I don't know.

Thoughts?

I ran across an article a couple of weeks ago that Grooby, the largest producer of "shemale" content in the world? (at least in terms of sites available in the US) was transitioning away from using the term "shemale" to describe their transsexual performers.

https://www.vice.com/en_us/article/7xx73...-slurs-from-its-site

Apparently this is sparking some re-thinking of terms across the industry. I just logged into Evil Angel's site. Since they started producing a lot of "shemale" content, they have had a little box, when you browse their newest videos, for you to check the box if you want them to "show shemales" - same when you browse for performers. Now the box says "show trans".

Interesting - Joey Silvera, who produces the largest quantity of that content for Evil Angel, actually made this change in 2015, which is the last time a new title of his had the term "Shemale" as part of it. I wonder if the term "Ladyboy" will also bite the dust.

On Sept 25, Jules Jordan will release "The Gang Bang of Riley Reid", which looks to be the Riley Reid equivalent of "Jenna Haze: Darkside", which was freaking awesome.

There's a pretty interesting documentary on Rocco Siffredi now on Netflix. I definitely recommend giving it a viewing, especially if you have an Evil Angel subscription so you can watch the scenes after you see the BTS in the documentary.

If people who enjoy camgirls care to get their rocks off AND contribute money to Hurricane Harvey relief, today is your lucky day.

Step 1) look on Twitter for hash-tag #HeartsforHarvey - that's how you'll find which girls are participating in this campaign and how much of their earnings they are donating - some are donating 50%, some 100%

Step 2) spend some dollars with the hottie of your choice that is participating in this campaign

That's all the effort required of those camgirl afficianados that care to indulge their lascivious desires and send money to a worthy effort at the same time.

I get the sense that this is a one-day campaign, but who knows where it will go from here.

The good thing about modern porn is that - no matter the body type you like, you can find really successful performers who have vids where they are lavished with attention. Holly Hendrix is an example. She's a tiny little thing with mosquito bite titties. In the 70's and early 80's, at least, she would have been relegated to 2nd tier status. I remember the few tiny babes with similar body types that would pop up for short periods of time as secondary talent in group scenes. They would be my favorite babes in the entire flick and they wouldn't even be named in the credits.

If pre-boob job Bunny Bleu had as many scenes of her with long tease sequences as Holly does, I'd be in heaven. She had a few starring scenes, but not many.

I'm certainly glad to see Holly getting the props that she deserves.

Really interesting interview with Lisa Ann. One thing she talks about is having been bullied to an intense degree when she left the industry. I had never heard about that. It's awful - especially for Lisa Ann, who, though I was never much of a fan of, I considered to be a super cool person - to the point that she went to a fan's high school reunion with him just cause he had gone to see her feature many times and was always really nice to her:

OnlyFans is a new way for adult performers to share content for their fans willing to pay extra

I've seen that August Ames has one.

I believe that Dawn Avril has one.

TG performer Chanel Santini has one.

Amia Miley has one, and besides the monthly fee, she asks fans to tip her even more to get lengthier clips.

I can't say it's a ripoff since it's totally voluntary for anybody that wants to subscribe to these things to do so. Some of these models are doing lots of work for every site on the internet (August Ames, for instance) and others are doing very little (Amia Miley)

I can't blame enterprising performers and models for catering to their superfans. For those of us that like to see previews before we buy, it's all fairly under wraps. Until you actually buy a subscription, all you can see is whatever descriptions are put with the posts.

That doesn't make it terribly appealing to me, but then I'm probably not enough of a superfan to pay anyway.

Anybody else been checking these out?

I thought there was a thread on retired porn stars, but I'm not finding it, so I'm starting this one.

It looks like Hollie Mack, fka Melissa Vail, has retired. I haven't seen any announcement, but she hadn't done any scenes for quite a while, went to AVN to work with an Inked babes site, and has now deleted her Twitter account, so I believe she is gone - sniff, sniff.

Oh, well. Hollie/Melissa, I was always a fan. I wish you the best in whatever you do going forward.

I suppose I'm better off not being the earliest adopter and getting the benefit of the early bugs being fixed before I get my notification that my computer is ready to upgrade, but I'm looking forward to it.

Anybody got it yet?

FYI - I know that I can skip my place in line whenever I care to. But I've read that can cause even more bugs, which I'm not nearly enough of a techie to desire.

I don't know if it's a term that's often used, but I love circus porn - I love the kind of porn where a woman in spectacular shape is able to put herself through an incredible sexual performance that no average woman would or could do. The latest scene that exemplified this for me was a blow-bang scene that Sara Luv did with 10 guys for Hard X - they're picking her up upside down they're grabbing her throat and hair and fucking her face like mad, and everytime she comes up for air, she's got a huge smile on her face and dives on another cock like it's the best experience ever. A recent scene that Bonnie Rotten & Skin Diamond did with Rocco Siffredi. Both women are incredible sexual athletes, and Rocco is still able to push women to the limit despite having been active for quite a while now.

I find these scenes intensely erotic, but more than that, I find them thrilling in the same way that I find great sports performances or artistic performances thrilling - it's very exciting to see someone take things beyond where they thought they could go and to see that look on their face like they're flying.

AT & T's Uverse has been making a big push lately to get people to switch over, and I was about to do so when I took a hard look at the speed comparison and realized that - at their maximum speeds - which would cost me as much or more as what I'm paying now with Comcast - I'd be getting 1/2 of what Comcast has been delivering to me.

A few years ago, I was capped at d/l speeds at 500 kb/sec. Then Comcast announced new higher speeds, and once I got one of their new modems for me, I was getting 6 mb/sec with download accelorators. Comcast has been announcing lately that they were about to double the speeds of their high-speed internet service. Looks like they might have down so, since I was just able to download a scene using a download accelorator at 14 mb/sec. Sweet!

There has always been a dichotomy among PU's between vid guys and photo guys. Some of us find images in motion more erotic. Some of us (including myself) find still images more erotic. I've found that making my own stills from vids using "Paint" is a whole lot of fun and makes it a blast to go back to my favorite vids to capture the images that really do it for me.

Am I unique in this activity or do other pic-fans among PU's do this also?

Just wondering.

In MMA circles, there has been a lot of controversy swirling around Fallon Fox.

Fallon is a transgender-male-to-female person who "came out" as transgendered after having 2 very dominant performances against women fighters who had not been told that Fallon had been male for the first 31 years of his/her life - this stuff is so confusing, I don't even know what the correct pronoun is.

There's controversy over whether it was a scummy move for Fallon to fight any women without informing them of that reality.

There's controversy over whether it's fair for a transgendered person to fight a biological woman.

There's controversy over whether a transgendered person has the same biology or different biology than a biological female.

I remember when I was in my 20's, I had a friend, Shelley, that I used to wrestle often. Shelley was a bit shorter than me, but she was stocky and lifted weights for fun. I was a bean-pole, really skinny, and I never worked out at all, except playing drums and dancing at clubs and walking a lot. Wrestling Shelley was fun because neither one of us was ever able to pin the other, so we could go as long as we wanted, and as furiously as we wanted, and it would never end with a pin.

That tells me that males have certain advantages over women, and the fact that this person can come into MMA in their mid-30's and start dominating women who have been fighting and studying martial arts for years, tells me that transgender male-to-female's have an advantage over biological females and that there can't be a fair fight based on weight between that pairing.

Thoughts?

There were a number of updates available to me when I checked tonight, including IE 10. I figured, "Oh, well - here goes nothing." I decided to download it along with the various security updates that Microsoft had available, have had a little experience with it - it's not bad at all. It's geared to showing as much of the web page as possible, not taking a bunch of room with toolbars, etc, which is good. It seems simple and speedy and what else could one want from a browser?

The one that's on my thumbs-down list these days is Chrome, due to its inability to play nice with Flash

Fans of ALS Scan model Ember might want to know that she passed away on April 9, 2012. ALS Scan has pulled down all of her content out of respect for her and her family.

The circumstances of her illness and death are odd and a bit mysterious, as ALS Scan Alex described them in his blog - "A photographer friend of mine was on Skype with her on April 5th. She seemed fine. She was complaining she had a painful bump on her right breast, but said the doctors told her it was just a build up of fat tissue. She passed away on the 19th of April 2012."

How a 30-year-old woman goes from basically fine to death in 2 weeks is a mystery to me. I'm sure her family was devastated.

RIP Ember/Jaymie Anthony

The guys at Manwin are pretty smart - not all that ethical, but smart.

They started with tube sites, I believe, and made a ton of money off the advertising, while lowering the value of pay-sites. Then they went on a buying spree. They now own Brazzers, Twisty's, Reality Kings, Digital Playground, approx 1/3 of Playboy Enterprises, some portion of Wicked - or perhaps they just get the fees for running the website.

They might also now own FTV Girls, but I'm not sure about that.

Kind of amazing!

This question was brought to mind by one of the hottest scenes I've seen on Anal Teen Angels - an adorable little blonde called Ioana (those Eastern Europeans sure like their vowels!)

When I saw her pic, I was wondering how such a tiny little thing was going to do anal and she was paired with a guy who, while not a giant, was a strapping young stud. When he attempted anal for a few seconds, she said, "I don't think I'm going to be able to do it" and he contented himself in fucking her hot little pussy. She fingered her asshole for a minute or so, but that was as much anal as there was in the scene.

Kudos to 21st Sextury for putting it up, because I think it's one of the hottest scenes on that site. I'm sick of the "well, we call it this so we have to do this" mentality of much of the world of porn. Sometimes doing something that many would think of as more "vanilla" is sexier.

Your thoughts?

I tried posting this last night - I must have been trying to post just when the site was being shut down for maintenance.

Such is life.

I didn't find a video game thread, surprisingly enough - perhaps Khan will point it out to me.

I'm very enamored lately with Borderlands. A great game that allows people to play with vastly different styles - aggressive to laid back and meandering - more my speed, given how piss-poor I really am at video games. I like the variety of the environments you get to explore, the variety of the weapons and the opponents, the quality of the art-work and the AI of the opponents - they're not entirely predictable and they can kick your ass in the beginning of the game especially - and the game creators have a great sense of humor. I love this video they did to help one Borderlands fan propose to another:

It looks like we'll be seeing Jenna Haze continue to lead the charge against porn piracy - how effective that will be remains to be seen.

Steve Hirsch seems to continue to want Vivid to be known for celeb stunts rather than good porn - I hear a clock ticking away for the day when Vivid is not considered a major porn company at all. They have a fair amount of cash available to burn through first, most likely.

Brazzers was apparently hacked by some assholes, who put a thing on the site that asked users to download a codex with the svchost.exe file in it.

In the thread that I read on their forum, the people talking about it weren't sure whether it was a key-logger or a browser hi-jacker. Either way, it ain't good.

So be aware, if you go onto one of your favorite sites and get some message about downloading a codex of some type, or anything in that realm, be VERY wary.

According to Steve Lightspeed, for whom she worked exclusively, as far as I know, during her modeling career, Tawnee Stone died in a car accident a day or two ago.

I'm surprised that there's no article that comes up in Google about the accident under her real name, which has been bandied about all over the place for years, along with her workplace, home address, driver's license photos, etc, which is why I'm not putting it here - that stalker shit is beyond the pale.

I'm not sure when she stopped modeling since Steve Lightspeed just keeps recirculating the same sets over and over as "new" on all of his sites. But Tawnee Stone was an icon in the world of solo-girl internet teen models.

It was basically Tawnee Stone, Christina Model (still going strong amazingly), Tiffany Teen and Kate of Kate's Playground (still doing some work, still involved in her site) that kicked the whole thing into high gear, I believe.
