It is with a sad heart that I am posting this thread.... Some of you Porn Users will know "Khan", he was the original moderator here at the PU forum, so I wanted to give everyone an update on his condition. We are sad to report he's in acute hospice care with no life support. We have set up a GoFundMe online memorial for our good friend Khan. It is our hope that this will give everyone a chance to send their respective goodbyes as we are hopeful Khan will have a chance to read these comments in his final few days: https://www.gofundme.com/robrose Khan has been working in the adult biz for about 20 years now. He is one of the true original old school guys in the biz but he always kept up with current trends, spoke his mind, stayed true to himself and is a true professional. Hey everyone! We are in the process of developing a new PU & TBP newsletter. Oh don?t worry? it is not going to be some spammy waste of time. We want it to be a great additional tool to get information out to the participants. We often are approached with new deals for our users, but sometimes they are not a good fit for the site. This will be a great way to pass along those special deals to you all. Additionally it will be packed with new & hot content that should help stimulate more activity and participation on the site, making it an even better resource for you. Since we are working out all the details now, I figured now would be a good time to pick all of your brains. Please let us know what your ideal wishlist would be. What things do you like about other newsletter or email subscriptions you are currently receiving? Here are a couple more questions to get your juices flowing as you begin to think about this? How often would you like to receive the newsletter? Do you want it to be in simple text or HTML? What type of content would you like to see? New discounts? New sites? New Reviews? How much customization would you like? For example, the ability to choose news on all niches or just certain select niches you choose? Deals on items other than paysites? We get offered deals on adult toys, DVDs, lingerie & etc. What else would you like to see promotions on? Contests to win money or prizes? Other porn news outside of PU & TBP. For examples info on pornstars, porn consumer trade shows, general porn industry news? We really appreciate any and all feedback you can provide As always, thanks for using our site!!! I just wanted to post an update to this thread. I did speak with the owner of this site. I have also emailed Denner about this as well. The site owner reports that the access issue was a technical issue and not related to any other issue. He has fully refunded Denner's charges. We just wanted to update everyone. Hey Wittyguy & the PU crew! Thanks for pointing me in the direction of that article; I had not seen it yet. I am often asked for quotes and sometimes never get to see them used. Unfortunately, I was misquoted in this situation. My initial quote contained, "If you are not promoting OT Cash sites, you should!" not "If you are not promoting OTCash sites, you're leaving money on the table!" I will definitely contact the person I gave the quote to and ask what happened. The words are similar, but different in meaning. Regardless, I like your thoughts and comments. It brings forth a great conversation. After being just a Porn Fan like everyone else here for many years, I moved over to the business side of porn. I too used to use TBP for my porn buying recommendations. And like everyone else, I valued the honest and reliable reviews. Now being on the other side of the coin, I can honestly say, the reviews here are completely unbiased and honest without the influence of what our commissions are. If we gave bad sites good reviews for the sake of money, the smart users here would catch on in a flash and just write us off and never return. We work extremely hard to keep TBP & PU true to our mission of honest, fair & accurate reviews. That is one thing you don't have to worry about. Trust me, I really wish I did not have to pass on that all expense paid trip to Hawaii that was dangled in front of me like a tasty carrot!!!! LOL... Just kidding..... Hey! This is Vegas Ken. We have participated in the past two Erotica LA shows, however we will not be participating this year. You are correct, there probably will not be too many internet companies present. The web companies that tend to do a majority of consumer shows are mainly the DVD PPV sites like Hot Movies. Most of the booths historically been hosted by the larger DVD production companies. With the decline in DVD sales, many of them have been shying away from the consumer shows. That in combination with the current economy, I would expect that the show will be smaller than it has in the past. However, that being said, there should be plenty of the larger pornstar girls there in attendance. So if mainstream pornstar girls is your thing, it might be worth checking out.
