Many deserving shows got nominations but there are plenty that got snubbed as well. I think we are at a point where there are almost too many quality shows out there with all the cable channels, and then Netflix and Amazon Prime. It was cool to see This Is Us slip in there as the only network show to get a best show nomination in years. Some of the shows I really like that didn't get a nomination: Unreal, Good Behavior, Bosch, Kingdom, The Americans (did get actor and writing at least), Masters of Sex, New Girl, The Affair, The Walking Dead, And more... although I am not sure which of those shows wouldn't have even been eligible based on season release dates, etc... | |

I remember that site very well. It was one of the earliest sites I ever reviewed oh so many years ago... And yes, it was very graphic. Yes, it was just chocolate but it really did look like  I remember it made some of us in the office kinda nauseous just looking at the videos. | |

Have you checked out Vintage Classic Porn? They have stuff from the 20s through to the 80s. Could be worth a look. Hope that helps AK | |

I have read it and I really enjoyed it. It is well-written and a very interesting look at one pornstar's life and experience in the business before, during and after - the good and the bad. She tells some great stories and although she doesn't always use people's names, it is fun trying to figure out who she is talking about and also going back and watching some of the specific scenes she talks about filming and watching them knowing what she was actually thinking during the shoot (not always thinking good things). It is well worth the read. | |

Jook, I completely understand your fence sitting. but just to say that if we did raise scores of crappy sites then folks like you and others would stop trusting our reviews altogether. So, our theory is that if a few sites pull out over a bad review (and it has happened) that is okay with us if it means we keep readers coming back because they know we aren't going to artificially give sites high scores. But, however you use the site and the reviews - either on their own, in conjunction with PU or as just a tool to get certain stats - we appreciate it. AK | |

was just reading through the thoughtful comments and I know Amanda said a few things (and said them well I might add), but I just wanted to jump in for a second... I have no doubt that not everyone will agree with all of my reviews and I have zero problems with that. There is definitely some subjectivity at play and while I might have a strong opinion about a site one way or the other I also try to lay out the facts as I see them and let the reader take that and decide what is most important to them and decide if a site is worth it or not regardless of whether I liked it or not - just because something is a major con for me doesn't mean it is a big deal for you, etc... Just like when I read reviews of products or restaurants. I mean, if someone gave a restaurant 2 stars but said the food was great but the waiter was rude and the place was crowded... well, I would probably place more importance on the food and also assume that not all the waiters are rude and I don't have a problem with crowded restaurants so I wouldn't dismiss it because of the low rating. But I also just wanted to say that I have never been told to give a site a high score even if I didn't like it or vice-versa. Sure, that has gotten me in trouble a few times with sites that didn't like my review/score, but that's how it goes sometimes and I think in the end an honest policy is best for both the readers and the sites getting reviewed. well, I was just reading through the posts and saw this one and had to comment just to say, great thread!! I am very much an "ass man" (enter your own Seinfeld joke here) so a thread dedicated to Butts is one I can really get behind (pun intended). Obviously, reviewing as many sites as I do I see so many great asses every day. Now, I did go back and image search Evangeline lilly to remind me of her ass and it is a nice little one for sure. However, I do tend to prefer a rounder, bigger butt ala Alexis Texas and babes of that ilk. But, great butts can come in all shapes and sizes so I don't like to speak negative of any female posterior  A.K. | |

my friend and colleague Amanda and I have had the conversation about those brutally annoying camera sounds (clicking, etc) before so I am glad she also mentioned them in her post. So, I wanted to mention them again and also mention cameraman noises. you know when you can hear him breathing behind the camera while he films the scene? it is annoying, kind of creepy, and total boner-killer. I think someone else mentioned also, but how about at the end of a scene when they guy spends like 20 minutes jerking off while the girl is on her knees waiting for him to finally cum and you can see her getting bored and trying to do anything she can to encourage him so he can get hard enough to orgasm. In the end that stuff ends up being kind of funny to me, but my bigger question about those scenes is why the hell does the director leave it in? I mean, all he has to do is edit it and cut out all that time so it happens much quicker. do they think we want to watch some guy having orgasm issues stroke himself for 10 minutes? And finally, I read a lot of people hating on POV and i just wanted to put it out there that at least one person still really likes POV (that would be me). having the camera focused completely on the girl is great and i generally much prefer it to a standard wider film style where the guy is completely visible. - of course you want someone who can film properly without tons of shaking around and camera clicking and such, but all things being equal, i would take POV over the other almost all the time. | |

awhile back in some other post on here I had mentioned my affinity for the wonderful Alisha Klass (some younger porn watchers might not even know who she is) so I would probably go with her. She is my favorite so it works that way and she did a good amount of movies when she was active so there is that as well. She also starred in a few Hollywood films so I think I would be allowed those on the island with me as well which would give me something else to watch also. | |

so, I couldn't remember the name of the movie but I can still see the cover image from the VHS box. So, thanks to google image search... Behind The Sphinc Door! that is the movie that introduced Alisha Klass. was watching some of it again and wow... she really is an incredible woman and she worked so well in that classic Seymore Butts "reality" style that really brought out the personalities of the performers and made me feel as if I knew her. | |

hope you don't mind if I jump in on this one... and I am going to date myself here, but my favorite porn babe of all time is alisha klass who I discovered oh so many years ago on this thing called VHS tapes when she was a Seymore Butts girl. Hello, my name is A.K. and I'm an alcoho… oooops! Wrong place. Hey TBP and PU folks my name is AK and I guess it's about time that I too introduce myself to you all as the newest TBP review editor/writer. I have been working reviewing porn sites over at Rabbits Reviews for over 10 years now so I am definitely not new to this and I have the hairy palms to prove it. That being said, TBP does have a different set up and system that will take me a little getting used to so I hope you can all bear with me during this process. Reading through the reviews on TBP I appreciate how each editor has their own voice. Well, as you will see when you start to read my reviews, I also definitely have my own voice and style and, while I think that is important, I am also interested to know what you guys (and girls) think. I have just started on the reviews recently but there are two posted already (Teen BFF & Real Wife Stories) and there are more on the way. Based on what I have read over here at PU, the level of discussion is quite high and thoughtful (which is quite impressive based on what you generally find on the internet).
