Good for you! Sometimes the older material is actually better - keeping in mind that the video quality is not equal to today's. My favorites are Vivid Classics (also available on Adult Time), Private Classics, as well as the vintage sites like VCX Classics and The Classic Porn. The latter two will have older material as well. I've used both Western Digital and Seagate over the years and have never had a problem with either. I currently use 3 - 8TB Seagate Drives and 1 - 4TB WD. No real reason for one over the other. Just wanted to say thanks to all the users who took the time to post their experiences with Bang Bros. I too am contemplating rejoining after an absence of about a year. Good to know that it appears to be OK. This thread is a good example of what this forum is good for - sharing user experiences. I too am lamenting the slowdown in new production. But it has given me the opportunity to revisit some of my favorite sites to scour their back vaults for material of interest that I missed the first time around. I'm thinking particularly of the mega-sites like Brazzers, Reality Kings, PornPros, etc. Some of this older material seems to have been remastered since the first time I went thru them. Just completed a one-month subscription to Fit18. Title is accurate - young, well-toned girls (almost all are name stars with no chubbos). Typically interview and chit-chat followed by sex with the interviewer. Quality is very good (girls, photography, action, etc.) Major drawback is the (very) limited number of scenes - only about 50 or so. Given the small selection, I wouldn't be in a hurry to review this one. On another note, anyone know what happened to Teen Creamery. Their website seems to have disappeared. It must be extremely difficult (if not impossible) for a film director to accurately recreate a universe in the manner envisioned by the author of the text. That, I think, was one of the advantages of the early Star Wars stories: they were not trying to copy a universe, rather Lucas could create it fresh from scratch. The Game Of Thrones series did a reasonably good job with the universe created by Martin, but then it's Fantasy and not hard SF. I don't usually enjoy reading Fantasy but I do enjoy watching it (some of it at least). Ran across "My Life In Miami" a few weeks ago on PornHub. Content looks pretty good, but when I click on their link to join, I'm redirected to outer space. I also will be anxiously awaiting the next Star Wars installment. I remember when I saw the first one oh so many years ago and thinking that it was the visual realization of what I thought SF should look like. The story and the settings were fitting tributes to Robert Heinlein and Poul Anderson. I would like to get my hands on a copy of Dune (the film, I've read the books). None of the various streaming and DVD services seem to have it available. Enough of this. This conversation most likely belongs on one of the many SF blogs instead. I did enjoy the memory, however. Don't know why it took me so long to find this site and this forum. As my handle indicates, I'm a collector of adult video material. I've been at this for over 35 years - yeah I'm that old. So given that, I do downloads only so that I can archive them. I've got well over 8000 items in my collection and more are added daily. Preference is for vintage ('80s and '90s) material. Problem is that the quality is not so good. I'm into video editing and video quality improvement. Some of the clips can be enhanced by carefully adjusting the lighting, saturation, contrast, etc. Pinnacle is my preferred app for this part of my work. (Yeah I still consider this to be work although it's probably the most enjoyable job I've ever had.) I'm still looking for a suitable cataloging / inventory app. If anyone out there has any suggestions I'd be glad to entertain them. Site reviews are most helpful - keep up the good work. I notice that no one has posted to this thread in almost two years. I wonder if there are any new applications out there which fulfill this need?
