This relates closely with the thread, "exposure of follow up review", but to answer your question, yes. I think this is the case with most web porn -in particularly most mainstream sites-try to stick to a proven formula, which can easily become a tired cliché Edited on Apr 13, 2008, 09:57am

I THINK FOLLOW UP REVIEWS SHOULD: 1. Allow the user to completely replace and erase the old review. The main reason for this is that most PU's have a somewhat narrow interest- some guys have an obsession with big breasts others with petite 18 year olds. For many, this creates a situation where after a certain amount of reviews they run low on sites of interest to them. However these are still valuable users, as they will stay committed to their favorite sites and provide needed update reviews for the rest of us(while still earning points). Obviously right now you can post a comment, but this does not earn points . * There should however be some limits placed on this: such as you would need to wait about 4-6 months before doing a follow up -whereas now you can do one basically after 30 days. Obviously most sites won't change that fundamentally in such short time. 2. Also, users with higher rank should have their reviews given more authority or weighted more heavily in the overall score average. The reasons for this are: First, more experience should translate to more accurate reviews. I personally would now change slightly some of my reviews after having seen more sites. This adds another layer of competitivenesses to the points system: If you are a new user that wants your review to have more say (particularly regarding your favorite site)-you would need to get out there and earn more points. To answer the original question, yes, porn is too mainstream but so is sex in general, and that is that is only part of the problem. The 1980's and early 90's were probably the last era where you could actually sit down with your parents and watch tv without being embarrassed with constant sexual images and sexual references. Overall I would have to say this is probably not a good thing, sex used to have a certain mystery, innocence, and even reverence paid to it that was reflected heavily in early porn. There were countless pornos that dealt with the innocence of a young man or woman in their their first sexual experience, or the liberation of the once sexually prudish. None of those story lines would work today. They simply aren't culturally relevant in society that sells sex and porn like casual snack food. Is this good for society, no, (at least not imo). Is this good for men, yes, well porn is at least. In a completely feminized society where men's issues are put on the back burner, and where marriage is a risky proposition; the porn of today comes at just the right time. It is probably the most safe and convenient way available to relieve sexual tension. Also, you are virtually guaranteed to get what you pay for (if you know what I mean). So is porn too mainstream, yes. However it's also a mainstream solution to the now mainstream problem of sexual tension, and frustration for men. And a damn efficient solution at that.

I've always wanted to join Abby Winters but my debit card won't work with the billing provider they use.

To be fair the editors of this site it would be difficult if not impossible to list all of the porn sites on the internet. There are literally millions of sites out there, and estimates on expansion put it at about 200 new sites a day.

Indeed however there can sometimes be a psychological drawback with loyalty discounts. Often I find myself staying a member of a site for months on end simply because I want to lock in a particular price. Nonetheless I can't complain, internet porn has become an embarrassment of riches, so much porn for so little money, especially compared with purchasing or renting DVD's.

I'm with Toadsith here. I think the danger of online porn is the tendency to become a porn collector or connoisseur rather than actually enjoying the porn itself (simply jacking off and moving on). I spend much more time now collecting porn and browsing new porn sites than I do actually jerking off to porn. This leads me to say that while I am not critical of users who complain of download limits (it's a fair criticism), I often have to scratch my head and ask : Wow, just how much porn do these guys download in a day?!! Especially since some of the download limits mentioned are quite robust (i.e over 2GB). Edited on Apr 05, 2008, 01:30am

Excellent post topic, first off there are simply too many redundant booty and big boob sites out there. That's saying alot for me since I love big boobs and nice round asses. I wouldn't mind seeing: 1. Some of the the Super Networks (RealityKings, BangBros, NaughtyAmerica, Brazer's etc) have at least one leg and foot fetish site each. Allrealitypass and Kickass deserve praise in this area, but both networks have significant drawbacks. 2. A high quality BBW network, sites like BBWpornpass and the seemingly related BBWsuperstars are ok, but have serious limitations quality wise. The funny thing is I know the first network to really come through here will have more members than they'll know what to do with. As I believe the demand is much greater than the supply right now in this area.
