Welcome back, OneMan.
The PU site has grown more quiet since you were here last.
New management took over the site.

But it's still around.
Would like to read any reviews or comments you might make.

Just had a good moan about nubile-porn.

Can't believe how premium sites are now just massive adverts for other sites ?!!!

And since when do 12 video sites qualify as 'Sites' ? 15 sites my ass.

Crikey. It's a jungle out there.

I have been browsing a bunch of posts and reviews for a while, and having been away from the premium paid up sites for a good few years, can honestly say, things have took a dive.

The quality may be better, but the shady practices, deceit and shody customer services - or lack of it - is not acceptable.

So, here is my 2 cents.

Always use Paypal where available. You can simply cancel the recurring payment directly... and not worry about dealing with providers directly.

Otherwise use prepaid credit cards. Only load it with enough cash to cover the one site... one by one.

(No pornsite will ever rip me off, again.)

Also.... a new site equals a new disposable email address !

With the attitude of sites today: the upselling, the adverts, the absolute BS regarding the size of the site, slow download speeds etc etc., and dubious recharge stategies, is there any wonder people just go to "free" sources ?

They are their own worst enemy, and I think one day they will cease to exist, as Pornhub-type sites take over 99 percent of all traffic... and of course privateers through sharing sites.

At least you know what to expect from them. Edited on Feb 06, 2019, 05:38pm

Loki..... a fallen angel ? Dogma is such a great movie !

However, I believe 1 site is enough nowadays, per month.

Rip everything you want, and then join another.

You can only watch 1 movie at a time, after all.

I agree that 1080p60 is the sweet spot.

4K is not always at 60fps, which imho, is the best smoothest way to film pr8n.

Secondly, 4K files are massive, so take time to download and a lot of space on your expensive SSD drives !

Thirdly, you need HDMi 2.0 or 'display port' tech to display 4K at 60 fps.... not many laptops have those yet.

Finally, if you're not bored yet, is that certain types of pr8n are better at a lower resolution.... too much clarity is not always a great idea -- unless you're a vagina doctor!

I really am getting annoyed more and more as time goes on.

The new sites page was usually a weekly if not bi-daily event for me, but more and more we are seeing cloned sites, mobile sites (just re-sized videos from extant sites)and the dreaded "micro sites" - where webmasters simply split up a decent sized site and put each girl with as little as FIVE videos on her OWN "site".

Come on guys, the "New Sites" page is starting to resemble spam.

It's a pain in the ass now just to filter through all the dross, and it should really be cleaned up a little.

Clone sites should not be included in the list, and mobile sites should possibly have a seperate page... if you're interested.

I only really want to see full-blown, fully-fledged new sites please.

Am I the only person to be annoyed by this recent trend ?

It's bad enough that certain types of site even exist, but to thave them take up space on the front page of TBP site, is really annoying! Edited on Jul 09, 2010, 07:27am

Good reason to start using virtual / prepaid credit cards.....they can seriously limit your potential loss due to fraud or "unrthical" practices, and are pretty much disposable. I use Tuxedo, but there are many out there.

Good stuff.

The 9.99 I referred to was never refunded either ! So, clearly they are also deceiving the credit card processor too.

I learned the hard way about instant upsells and cross sells, but sometimes they just push the envelope too far....at which point it is necessary to bring it to the TBP staff's attention.

Good to see they are prepared to communicate their distaste to the company, and take action if they are not prepared to "play fair".

Good result.....unfortunately, not everyone uses the TBP site....shame, as it would put these types out of business.

To be honest though....de-listing is defeating the purpose.

I think the comments re: dishonesty should be retained. It is important that we know about these sites.....

I often see that "TBP Has Discontinued Its Relationship With This Site".....but this is open to interpretation by the user reading it.

TBP cannot say "Because they are Dishonest Scumbags!"... as this would open them up to legal action.

So, they should leave the Users' comments as they are, so we can all read them and be in no doubt as to the reason WHY they have been 'banned' or delisted.

Bump....my this post has gone quiet !

Just had another problem with a site.

Best action...is re-action.....slate them on their review page and tell them you're gonna do it.

Then they can see other's opinions and how many people will read about them !

I just replied to a guy who is considering considering joining this site as I write.

Hopefully, he will now steer clear....so the 9.99 they ripped me for, will pale in significance to the 30 they lost from just him, together with who knows how many others, who will hopefully avoid the site in the future.

Porn Users is like the rating system at EBay...the only way to know if a site can be trusted. There are so many good and honest sites now, that dodgy ones will not survive long.

Long live PU and TBP.

TeenMegaWorld or Nubiles (the latter less so) is a good one too.

Most are guys that look like, and may well be, their boyfriends !

Don't expect fireworks though....there's lots of condoms and the action is pretty low key if you are used to Hustler and Leah Luv going at it hammer and wotsits! (Bless her cotton socks !)

But, the Eastern Euro girls are sooooooh frickin hot, even though, they don't say much - for obvious reasons.

The main problem I have is convincing myself they are not being "forced" into it....looks can be deceptive. I guess, I'm a little old fashioned, as the "east" has changed a lot in recent times.

See my posts on TeenRevPass networks !

I also joined another site before, that introduced me to the delights of Instant Upsells !!!!

Pre-checked cross sells are one thing.....ethical ? Well....not really.

But you should be more concerned with exposing Instant Upsells which I believe are illegal....if they were tested in a court.

Companies should be 100% transparent.....anything shady or designed to "catch you out" is NOT ethical...it is not morally acceptable.

Pre-checked anything is not on in my book !

Some firms even do it on the Cancellation Page for cripes sake !

I truly feel that you should have 3 categories of warning instead of the current 1.

1. Cross sells at sign up
2. Instant Upsells on member or trial pages
3. Cross sells at cancellation. (excuse the double "ll s" I am a Brit !

The one I had this weekend, "disguised" the cross sell as "Free Video" on the cancellation page. Man !

This comes at an interesting time, as I am currently studying a university level course in "Applied Ethics".

To be honest, it may be prudent for you guys to place a warning on your site, that suggests....if in doubt about the ethical policies of a site you may be considering joining - whether because of the 'look and feel' of it, or from other users' comments - always use a "virtual"/pre-paid credit card. This limits the amount that can be 'lost' through dodgy websites.

Prepaid cards allow you to load them with just enough to join your site.....then check out your membership details and emails, before loading it any further....preferably cancelling the current site before loading it any more ! Edited on Oct 26, 2009, 11:16am

Woahhh!!!! Hold on and read my posts on the relevant pages for these sites.

Dodgy stuff.......

Imo - having joined some time ago, and from what I saw from the "trial" at the weekend - the sites in the main are very poor quality.....vids are few and around 700 kbps. None have been updated for 4 years.....there are two new ones but look very small and I doubt the qulaity is any better.

I had trouble with unwanted charges over the weekend and got BS back about it.

Go to TeenMegaWorld or Nubiles instead.....I assure you, they are 1000% better - and 100% trustworthy.

Never use Instant Upselling links....especially in the members area.

These "money pixels" are the devils work and arguably not legal.

When I find them, thankfully not that often, I will report them widely and never use that company again. It is disgusting.

They are usually found in conjunction with Cross-Selling links on the Cancellation page....which again, is highly annoying !

Well apparently, they will be refunded the 9.99.

"The charge of $9.95 is only a pre-authorization to ensure that the credit card
used is valid and there is room on the card if ever the membership is upgraded.
But we assure you that this is not an actual charge but just a temporary hold on
the funds that will usually fall off your bank within 72 hours once the membership
has been canceled."

..........is what the credit card processor said......

Sound like bull to me.....9.99 as a check ? No way....and besides they said nothing about the rebill after 3 days for the trial I NEVER signed up to ! so, they would have got 9.99 anyway as I knew nothing about it as no email confirming the trial was sent to me.

These dodgy practices are rare...to be fair, but I have come across 2 now, and I only join 1 site every 3 months or so !

Oh well.

Hi,

Sounds good.
Make sure you join via the "...$1 2-day trial access..." and particularly note the:

1. instant upsells on the "trial page"

2. leave the "Send me a DVD" box, checked on the cancellation page. then check your credit card account and your "transactions" on their card processing company site.

3. Also note how you do not receive an email to say that you are now signed up for - not a DVD - but trial access to a (really crappy) DVD site, AND it will be rebilled after 3-days !

This site is very dodgy. Edited on Oct 25, 2009, 04:17am

It has dawned on me how they managed to charge me for the 3 day DVD site access at $10.

When I cancelled the $1 2-day trial to TTP, on the cancelation page there was a box that said "Cancel and Send me a DVD".

I thought nothing about this.....clearly this is what it was !

However, there was no confirmation or email confirming I had now joined another site.

This is basically, then, an "instant upsell" on the cancellation page !!!!! WTF ????

I have had experience of this before though.

Another site I joined recently, used "instant upsells" throughout the member area...absolutely disgustingm and they also used them on their cancellation page.

I really think credit card processing firms should not allow this instant upselling. There is no express offer and acceptance, and the fact that you rarely know that you've joined a trial, means that they then rob you some more with rebills.

Disgraceful.

I have just tried the trial of All Teen Rev Pass (also known as Tiny Teen Pass.

This includes all the Little Summer, Little April (see latest user review by someone else this week !) and the newer sites of Tiny Tyler and Little Bree.

I joined for the 2 day trial for $1 and it was appaling. Only 2 little streams from some of the sites, and the page is littered with "Instant Upsells" which has been discussed on here before.

Now, I'm already 'wise' to instant upsells and to unchecking cross-sells on the sign up page.....so why did they automatically sign me up to a 3 day trial for some bogus DVD site too ? $10 they charged for that...a total of $11 for rubbish.

I did not even get to see the full sites - which I wanted to do - see how many vids there were, check out the quality etc.....and they ripped me off.

To rub salt in the wounds....if I hadn't gone to their credit card billing agent and checked the purchase detials, I would not even have been aware of the extra subscription, which would apparently have rebilled after 3 days at $40.

This sort of company is disgusting.

1. I definitely, unchecked all the boxes on sign-up.

2. No email was sent to say I'd joined a trial for TWO sites. I had only ONE email, saying I had joined TinyTeenPass but nothing about the more expensive DVD site (and the DVD site was bogus anyways). This is clearly deception...as they don't want you to know about it, so it rebilled after 3 days.

3. The trial was a joke....and the page was littered with instant-upselling links.

Something should be done to boycott these sites.

I have also had a link saying I have access to a webcam site. I wonder if I will be billed for that in 3 days time ?

The real problem lies in recharges.....it should be banned universally. Fraud is FAR too easy unless the cardholder authorises the payment EVERY time.

Also, there should be a link to your own bank each time so a password needs to be used, to prevent fraudsters grabbing your details and using the card whenever they want.

It is not rocket science to prevent fraud completely...an average 10 year old could devise a system better than the current one.

In the UK we have just reveived a calculator type thingey that creates a "one use only" pin number. But, at present it is only to be used on the banks website ! Pointless so far then.....

But, it could be done and made universal....any independent can leech credit card details.......and 3 months later start using it......small amounts only, multiplid by thousands of cards soon adds up, but most people will neither notice, nor care.

Prepaid Cards only from now on, for me.

Always keep just 20-30 in there - I can top it up for less than a pound around the corner..... 8-)

The most I can lose is 20.......

Oh, and NEVER use independent processors, especially in South America or Russia.

Hi Again Rick,

The problem with "suspending" reviews on "dodgy" companies, is that poeple are then unaware of the problems !

I feel that TheBestPorn.com and PornUsers.com sites, should have a clearly marked section, where a list of sites that are using unacceptable practices, can be listed, with full details of "problems" therein.

Also,a "Charter" should be created, which lists and defines levels of acceptable behaviour for websites.

This would allow "offenders" to be identified and labelled as such, in accoradance with objective parameters.

So I guess, the answer is to VERY careful, even when you are a member of a site......I have learned a lesson....but it is a shame that sites like this use these underhand methods in this day and age.

But of course, my review of the site is yet to come..!..oh dear....I feel a dish best served cold...coming on !

You should not expect to have to be careful what you click on inside the members area...come on...am I being unreasonable here ? !

I dare not "explore" the site now.

IN ANSWER TO RICKS REPLY, I HAVE MADE AN AMMENDMENT TO MY ORIGINAL COMMENT AGAINST THE WEBSITE CONCERNED AND REPRODUCE IT BELOW:

UPDATE:
AFTER A CONVERSATION WITH A MEMBER OF THE www.THEBESTPORN.COM STAFF, I SHOULD ADD THAT THE LINK ACTUALLY SAID "CLICK FOR FULL ACCESS TO DVDS". RICK FEELS IT WAS CLEARLY AN INSTANT UPSELL.

HOWEVER.....I have never seen this type of thing before....I was searching for the DVDs whic I believed on the strength of a user review, were free to access. What I found was a stealth charge, whereby my explicit, contractual consent - via a secure signup page - was not presented to me.

Even it is legal, contractually it wasn't ! So, in terms of contract law, there was no clear, explicit offer and acceptance.

Disgraceful.

I just joined Megasite.com and while inside the "safe" members area, I clicked on a link to see the DVD section....and it automatically "joined me up" to a different DVD site.

I wasn't expressly asked, nor was I told that clicking on the link would sign me up.

I was nota asked for my credit card details again, either.

I was joined up to the downloadporn.com site and ironically, you can't even download stuff...streaming only !

I feel robbed, and that "thebestporn.com" should have a list of sites that use this spurious method to extort cash from you.

I have never seen this before.

I am aware of cross-selling.....at the time of registration, but thios is entirely differnet.

"Safebilling" is the company that processes it, and the URL it goes to is www.safebilling.com/instant_upselling

It is disgusting! Edited by Staff on Jul 17, 2009, 01:16pm (Khan: Direct URL Edited)

The most highly reviwed drive is the Samsung Spinpoint 500GB

Can pick them up for around £50 - very nice indeed. But it is an internal drive so you will need a motherboard with external SATA 11 connections.

They are 10x faster than USB drives and therefore worht the inconvenience.
