Hi manholelover, what you would need is an open proxy server that allows you to hide your UK based IP address but these are rare and mostly lame as many try to use such a server. I used some only to join sites but after I had my membership I went on with a direct connection... but beware that this might not help in case that this site always checks your current IP address. I don't know if there's a service offering proxy services with high speeds that would really help but cost some extra money. Cheers, Smut | |

Hey, today has to be Christmas for me and that early :-). I won my first prize on a $200 Tuesday, I just saw that I'm now a trusted user and I found the Tanner Mayes bts b/g scene being available on ALS Scan. People from Afghanistan living here in Germany told me they would never vote for any politician in their own country because all of them are corrupt. That leaves a very foul taste because our soldiers die over there to protect those politicians. Just listened to some older music today and there I found a very good phrase "My religion is freedom, my faith is justice!" I'm with the people over there that just want to live in freedom and experience justice but with a bunch of corrupt leaders on one side and Taliban on the other I think there's not much we can do for them and just like our friend the captain wrote to fight against partisans in a country like this where gunman can hide almost everywhere ... it's impossible to win this war. 4GB should be more than sufficient for most things you will do with your new PC. B.t.w. did you order Windows7 with this one? As far as we could see this new version is superior to Vista and to be honest it wouldn't make sense to order a copy of XP IMHO. | |

@Denner: Thanks for making me aware of this and you've spoken well :-) @Rick: Unfortunately it isn't that easy to promote this site as a fellow PU. I did that once in a forum of my favourite site for mature porn and will surely do that again mid of December. But when doing this you - or I - have to be careful to warn others not to give out votes that aren't comprehensible. As being one that knows a little about computers and how to make them connect to the internet I can say that I never ever saw a computer owned by a guy that didn't have any traces of real smut hidden on its hard disk drive. No need to worry turboshaft as ALS Scan seems to be up and running again. But I/we have to wait for an official statement from Alex. Guess he'll be very exhausted right now and boy I glad that I'm not one of the persons responsible for the downtime. I'm sure that Alex pushed his technical staff quite hard in order to get the site up and running again. Yesterday they promised to extend running subscriptions as an excuse for the fact that the site was down over the weekend. Further details I'd expect to appear in Alex's blog within the member's area. Let's see what happens :-) To be honest I wouldn't care about an extension as I'm a member for quite some time now and already downloaded hundreds of GB from their servers. From a customer point of view I was and still am very happy with Alex and his crew. As for GetRight all you need to do is to set the User Agent to the string that your favourite browser sends and that's it. Event though most sites won't permit to use a download manager I never got into trouble doing so. It's only a few sites I was able to download sets (no ZIP sites only) using FlashGot exclusively but those where sites I would never ever recommend! | |

Which is also no problem with GetRight. I just installed my PC from the scratch and it took me only a few moments to set GetRight up again. For me it works fine with most of the site I'm subscribed too.
I tried it once but gave up soon because I don't want a browser that sends back all the URLs I surf to Google. Nonetheless I have to say that Chrome is quite nice and very fast too. At least that was true for the beta version of this browser. | ||

The only drawback may be gaming but as I'm no longer playing around with my PC I will use Win XP Pro as long as possible. I've seen Vista on many different machines all of them much better equipped than my two PCs but none of them made me think "wow!" instead they seemed to be slower than what I've got. Vista eats up ressources like a hog and it doesn't offer me any real benefit. | |

I've seen a review on Brazzer's Network today that qualifies for a negative trust rating. The user is absolutely new to PU, hasn't even answered the profile questions, rates the site at 99 and gives only a few sentences why it's worth such a high rating plus twice the remark "this is the best site on the net". That's a go f*** elsewhere review to me ... sorry for the harsh words but I hope that most will agree?
