Thanks Wittyguy for bumping this thread back up! I have to say that my absolute favorite avatar I've seen is Toadsith's, I love the Prisoner, one of my all-time favorite shows. I also appreciate Wittyguy's sense of humour, as well as Drooler's (and to avoid a litany of praise, I'll stop here). Mine is a crop of a Zippy the Pinhead lithograph, sporting a particularly excited look. I thought his perversity rather fit the forum, and it's vaguely disturbing to boot. Wow! There are obviously some really smart people here, I couldn't even begin to adequately converse at the Master's Thesis level of Religious Studies going on here... So, I'll get back to Cybertoad's original question, about crosses and porn. The hottest sex I've ever had was from a Roman Catholic girl who thought that sex was evil and her cramping periods were due to God punishing her for having sex. But sure enough, each month we were back at it, she even started saying that when we did have sex, it made her periods less painful. This confused her, but that only seemed to make the sex hotter. One thing she did wear was a little gold cross. She never took it off. So, due to our past relations, whenever I see a woman wearing a cross, I remember my past girlfriend and smile a big smile ;0))) So I think crosses are a turn on for this reason. Maybe the director(s) of the movies Cybertoad has seen had a similar (or the SAME LOL) girl as I used to have! Maybe it's as simple as that! Before I risk insulting anyone Catholic, please understand this is just my opinion, and recollection of fond memories. I'm not Catholic, or even Christian, I just see the cross as a symbol of a past relationship, that still seems exciting even many years later. Ron Harris has the absolutely worst watermark I have ever seen. Typically a HUGE "(C)RONHARRIS.COM" either in the lower right corner, or worse, in his older videos, centered in the lower half of the screen, often OVER the model's genitalia!!! I'm a computer professional by trade, and use nothing by XP Pro at work. However, at home, I bought a new PC about 10 months ago, it came with Vista, and I said what the heck. Until Vista SP1 came out, I had alot of little problems. But, since my home PC is really more just to play around and surf the web, it didn't bother me that much. Now that Vista SP1 is out, and I have it properly configured, it works really well. Note that by "properly configured" I mean: 1) Turning off that F***ing file indexer!! It is a huge waste of time and disk space. This is Microsoft's sorry excuse for people that don't know how to store files in folders on their hard drive. Just like your filing cabinet, if you don't keep your files neatly organized, I think you get what you deserve. BTW, if anyone wants a far superior file searcher, even over Windows XP Search (with the silly little dog), then use Agent Ransack, it's a super fast utility that does not need to index your hard drive. 2) A big enough hard drive to handle the massive system restore files Vista makes. My system came with 400GB, that's just about right. 3) Enough memory - 3 GB 4) Dual core processors. AMD processors are an economical, effective alternative to Intel. 5) Enabling classic view on the start menu, control panel, etc. 6) Numerous other little tweaks I forgot about after turning them off. So, after all of this, what do I have? A pretty nice PC, nothing over XP in terms of reliability or performance, more like an experience in frustration. Guess I'm part masochist ;0) There is one cool little thing I like about Vista over XP: in the toolbar, when you cursor over an active task, it gives you a little mini preview window, so you can see what's in it! You can even be watching a movie, then go to your taskbar and see it miniaturized! Wow, one neat thing and a ton of tweaking to get it to behave....hmmmmm.... Sorry you wasted your money, however one thing to remember, especially about sites like that, with emails, photos etc., is that the entire thing could be a computer generated sham. There have been programs around since the 80's that could generate text, and it would be trivial to have a computer churn out emails with photo attachments from "women" who when contacted aren't really there. Cool question! I wish I had noticed it sooner. I take great pride in my organization of my collection, it's similar in many ways to Toadsith's, although I don't have his memory for faces, so I made up a system of my own. I'll spare the details of my folder organization, very similar to Toadsith's (website, then model name, then sets by that model). Since I'm primarily a glamor fan, this system works well. However, while my collection is not nearly as large as others here (just over 100 GB), I found that I was always looking for more on the web, rather than enjoying what I had, because I could never find anything on my PC and had no way to preview it. How many times have you found yourself blindly wandering through your collection looking for something good? Open folder, double click on some images, maybe a video...it was "hunt and peck" at best. Then I compared what was different about my favorite websites that I surf regularly, vs. the great wealth of stuff on my hard drive. The answer: well organized preview content, and point and click photo galleries. Being a software developer by profession, I designed and created my own "organizer" which I call Porn Commander. Basically I give this program a root folder on my hard drive, and it goes through and creates a series of web pages. I essentially use my computer's file system as the "database", and create photo galleries of each set. I use Highslide (TM), an excellent javascript slide show utility, used by big websites like Digital Desire (if you are so inclined, Highslide is free for personal use, and I strongly recommend it). I had to build some infrastructure around Highslide, mainly to search through my hard drive (starting at the specified folder) and find the images and produce the web pages. It's kind of like ASP and a web server, however I produce the content statically in my program, so I don't have to run a web server. The HTML pages just go straight to the file system. Porn Commander produces the pages when I run the program, and the HTML is there to double click on whenever I want. So basically I end up, for every photoset I have ever downloaded, with a model gallery and links to her photosets, with thumbnail previews. So rather than just viewing a single image at a time as you usually do when browsing images on your PC, instead I have the entire photo gallery in a web page and my entire porn collection comes to life!! Now my PC is basically its own professional quality website. It only takes a few minutes to re-index my hard drive and produce new pages from time to time, but my appreciation for all of those photographs and videos has grown immensely!! Hi Jeffrey, Sounds like we may have similar tastes, I am always looking for good solo content. Although most of the "glam" type of content is faked (albeit often well faked), it's difficult to find the "real" content you're after. alsangels.com and alsscans.com are 2 good ones. They are rather formulaic like FTV, and have a large share of speculums and weird items, however they also have some good old fashioned finger and toy play videos. Caution however, there is no build up, no seduction, and the videographer often talks too much (like Ron Harris does). Nubiles.net is a good one, less kinky and more erotic, although more amateurish than FTV or RH. Another one you might like is lsgmodels.com, more glamourous, and I'm sure there are some fakes, but it is hard to tell and the models are fresh, young, and hot. Check out my review of this site. I've had my eye on http://www.chasingirls.com/ for a couple of years now. I even joined their $2.95 3-day trial in 2006 (which was limited), and have been thinking about getting a "real" membership. Odd thing is, I can't find it listed on TBP, or here on PU, or anywhere, in terms of reviews. Seems really strange, I've never encountered a site that I could not find reviews on. Even Google doesn't have anything except for the site itself. Still the site looks pretty good, and now carlibanks.com is a sister site, you can get both for $29.95. I was a member of this site several months ago, see my review which is linked in Denner's orginal post. I never encountered any download limit issue, and was not even aware of one. Where is the limit indicated on the site? I have a feeling I went over 2 GB per day on several occasions, and never had a problem. Is this limit new? Anyway my review still stands, I gave them an 84. I agree that TBP review score of 91 is too high, however for fans of glamour content this site is pretty good. And right now they have a price of $18 which is an excellent deal for what you get, IMHO. Also another fact: DRM is no longer used by the site.
