I disagree with the score for Videobox being only a C+. Indeed, their average quality may be only C+ but this would only be a problem if there was no way to tell the good stuff frum the rubble. This can be a real problem for sites that don't implement a proper rating system but I don't think Videobox has issues in this area.
If Naughty America opened a new category "wonders of hibernation" that included only the most sleep inducing porn ever made, would you decrease their content rating? =)

I used to participate in newsgroup discussion regularly 7-10 years ago. Never subscribed to a binary provider though. There should still be some free usenet providers for text-only groups around. Besides Google of course. Binary newsgroups aren't much different than other forms of piracy, whether it's through P2P or free filehosts.

@happyending: Most porn is produced with semi-professional camcorders like this one. These camcorders usually do not go further than 1440x1080 in resolution. Even if they can create 1080p format video files the quality isn't that of true 1080p. Camcoders that can shoot true 1080p like this one have only recently broken into the <$10000 price range.

Several of their bonus sites started with quality content but provided good updates for only 6-12 months until the quality dropped through the floor. Before you decide to ditch one of their bonus sites make sure you check out it's oldest available content.

The best quality programs are usually those that are written by a single author and maintained actively over several years. Many of these small programs are freeware (foobar2000, mIRC, Mp3Tag etc). The worst programs I've come across are often those that are bought up by some company and then 'pimped' with dozens of features. WinOnCD and Norton Utilities for example... *shudder*

-I use CrystalDiskInfo to read the SMART-values of my external Harddrives. Always good to know if a HDD is on the verge of dying.

-I must have used a dozen batch-renaming tools over the last decade. The one I finally stuck with is ReNamer.

-WinDirStat visualizes the space that is used by files and folders on a harddrive. This tool has become irreplacable for me when I'm cleaning up on my harddrives.

-Faststone Capture is a tool for making screenshots. It can make screenshots of windows, freehand selections and window components. It can automatically scroll down and sidewards in browsers and other programs to make screenshots of large pages and frames.

-KeePass is the password manager I use to store all my logins.

-Have you ever copied a large amount of files and folders and Windows explorer aborted the whole thing because of a single file that made problems? TeraCopy is a small tool that solves that problem

The Thecus N7700 NAS holds up to 7 disks and supports different RAID levels. http://www.thecus.com/products_over.php?cid=11&pid=82 You can also connect several of them into some uber-cluster-thing.
