I was never a fan of the Kirk Trek, Star Trek for me has always been Picard and Crew. I'm seriously considering missing this movie, at least at the cinema. It's seems that they've gone all action orientated for this one and I prefer my Trek with a little more thought... http://www.SeriousMistressesForums.com

There was talk of a sequel but Liam Neeson's wife died, so I'm not sure where they'll go with it now.

I know one thing, I won't work with anyone else.

Interesting fact, Liam Neeson trained both Batman and Darth Vader. No wonder he's so tough! http://www.SeriousMistressesForums.com

The actors do look young, but then again Star Trek was suppose to be mostly crewed by 20yrs old. I will reserve judgement on the movie until after I've seen it. I just hope that it's good enough to kick start the franchise.

It looks like they are already kickstarting the franchise...

There are still plenty of people out there who are afraid of the Internet. Porn DVD's sell suprisingly well in the UK. My father-in-law owns a chain of sex shops and DVD's are his biggest sellers.

Though personally I can't see why anyone would want any physical media anymore. http://www.SeriousMistressesForums.com

What's this trust thing you're all talking about?

I posted a link once and Khan spoke to me about it, does that mean that I now have a negative trust thingy?

Who do I get a negative, I just need to know so I don't get one.

Thanks http://www.SeriousMistressesForums.com

Oh my god, totally didn't see that it was Shannon. Being a big fan of Lost I really should have noticed! http://www.SeriousMistressesForums.com

Paramount own the rights to the movies and the series. I'm assuming that they probably own everything else considering they have covered the major licenses.

I hated Enterprise, I thought it was totally pointless even though I did like the casting of Sam Beckett.

As for remaking the original series, it depends on how the new movie fares. Personally I'm not looking forward to the new Star Trek movie, it's the cast, they look too young to crew a galaxy-faring starship. http://www.SeriousMistressesForums.com

Scratch that, my Lacie 'big disk extreme +' just crashed on me today. Talk about tempting fate. This one was only four months old and had about 500gb of work on it.

Sucks! http://www.SeriousMistressesForums.com

Anchorman springs instantly to mind when I think of comedies. I can't help but find Will Ferrell funny, I could watch him reading a paper and still laugh my ass off.

My fave superhero movie has got to be the Incredible Hulk, the new one, not that Ang Lee one a couple of years back.

Normally my "favorite movie of all time" changes every week but for some reason the above two stay in my thoughts more than any other movies.

Oh, a big shout out for that new Liam Neeson Spy-Film, 'Taken'. Although it's too early to say, Taken could be the best action movie I have ever seen. Seriously, it is that good, I wouldn't lie to you I swear!!! http://www.SeriousMistressesForums.com

There's talk of another star trek series, not sure what time period they are going to set it in but at least there's some hope out there.

I always wondered why they didn't do a Starfleet Academy series aimed at teens, it would have been huge. It could have done for Star Trek what Smallville did for Superman.

Anyway, here's the article

http://www.nerdles.com/2009/03/23/another-star-trek-tv-series/

You may have to cut and paste for the link to work... http://www.SeriousMistressesForums.com Edited by Staff on Mar 24, 2009, 08:08am

This thread has got me thinking, if less is no longer more anymore then what is it? Less? or a little bit more, but not as much, ah forget it...

My brain hurts.

But seriously, with stores like clips4sale catering for absolutely anything, nothing is exclusive anymore. I found a clip I liked on clips4sale, jotted down the title and then went hunting for it on the web, found it on another clip site for $3 dollars cheaper. It was uploaded by the exact same studio too!

Madness... http://www.SeriousMistressesForums.com
