MFC has shortcomings but they are constantly making small (or, like in this case, huge) improvements to the site. I even remember once an Admin coming to the Lounge and asking members about how they should implement a particular feature. On the other hand, I've never received a reply from their tech support the 2-3 times I've sent a request.
I wouldn't count out having that kind of SF-like record keeping capabilities in real life. Take a look at Google's Project Glass.

When you say live shows, do you mean they are currently doing Naughty Bookworms-themed live shows or are you referring to archived ones? I was under the impression NA had stopped doing live shows a couple years ago and I don't see any info on the free tour.

After checking the blog and the previews in the free section, I'm pretty sure the site is consistently updating at the same rate and in the same style as always. AFAIK, Jessica Jaymes has been focusing a lot on her site in recent years so, IMHO, the fact that not many scenes of hers for other companies come up shouldn't be an indicator of the quality of this site.

I agree they most likely won't have a text on the home page saying the model has retired.
But, at Reality Kings there are a couple sites that are no longer updating and they are listed on the update schedule inside the members section as "Site is not on a set update schedule". This applies both to sites that stopped updating time ago like "Flower Tucci" but also sites that currently update less than once a month like "Captain Stabbin".

JFYI, the free tour does show what's been recently released inside the members' area (you must choose the "Most recent" sort option yourself).
There's also an option to "View Upcoming Updates". Upcoming updates don't show the name of the DVD but it should be easy to spot when the DVDs you are interested in have been queued for release.
Despite the delays, the site is well worth it.

Impressive indeed. Even though those movies are supposed to be available on DVD in September, don't expect them to be available on Elegant Angel website by then. This week, they finished posting the scenes from Swimsuit Calendar Girls 2012 which, according to release dates listed on adult DVD sites, was released in May.
Three months is a bit on the upper side but the average delay is around two months.

Being a metric system fan as I am, the stats in feet and inches used to bring zero info and I went through most of my adult live thinking all US adult models were giantesses.
When I discovered google's conversion, I was shocked to see the 5 feet of my favorite model at the time were merely 152.4 cm even though she looked to tower over everything in her solo pictures.

When I wrote that comment I was surprised that PornPros Network decided to go with such a copy of another site. I agree this shooting style gets repetitive. What's worse here is that they have thrown out the window the spirit of their existing sites and now they all look the same bland style, regardless it's Deep Throat Love, Disgraced 18 or any other.

I'm trying to download a video and I'm experiencing very weird behavior too. I got occasional short bursts at up to 2MB/s at the beginning but now it stays most of the time around 170KB/s. Downloading with a program that supports multiple segments like Firefox's DownThemAll doesn't seem to solve anything.
They recently did a very aggressive promotion so maybe it's not a download limit but that they can't cope with all the new users.

Totally agree with your input. As for models sitting there and waiting for privates, keep in mind that many don't only wait for privates on MyFreeCams but also on other sites they are online at the same time.
It seems that MyFreeCams used to have an "away private" mode that the model activated when she was doing a private on another site so MyFreeCams members could spy for a low fee. MyFreeCams wiki says that the option was removed because it hurt camscore and didn't produce much tokens.

Camscore certainly appears to have a lot to do with tokens received. I'm just surprised that Eve Angel doesn't seem to use her existing popularity to get people to tip her while other models manage to amass tokens from day one despite having zero popularity to begin with.
As you said in another comment, this site seems to be a lot about being entertaining in public and the interaction with the members. Eve Angel would probably benefit from taking a look at how other models manage their rooms.

I came across Eve Angel on MyFreeCams for the first time almost four months ago and mentioned it on the forum but didn't seem to arise much interest among fellow PUs.

It's worth noting that her "camscore" (a measure of a model's popularity on MyFreeCams) is not as high as you would expect from a popular adult model. This means she's almost on the second page and it's hard to find her for unaware users.

Even though the site needs (a lot of) work in terms of usability and navigation, the photos are so remarkable that I had to give it a high enough score to get it over the majority of solo sites I've reviewed in the past. In the end, it's the content what matters.
After joining The Mosh Room, I've checked free tours and samples from other sites allegedly in the alt, fetish or pin up genres but none interested me half as much. It's probably the way Mosh manages to balance varying doses of things that aren't my thing with her unique style, looks and poses what appealed and still appeals to me.

I believe there is a big gap between alt modeling and my tastes. Latex fetish, stockings, garters, vintage clothes, burlesque or pin up style are not my thing. The Mosh Room is the solo site of an alt model that has lots of things that are not my cup of tea and, yet, I liked this site quite a lot and I’d recommend anyone to at least take a look at the free tour.
The alt adjective doesn’t come from her body modifications: she has a very unique look but no tattoos at all and just some discrete nipple and ear piercings. She does have extremely pale skin and hair bleached white. I guess the alt adjective comes from a mix of her looks, her taste in style (pin up, vintage stockings, latex, extremely high heels) and the unusual, yet jawdropping, poses she bends herself into for pictures.
According to the very detailed about me section, Mosh trained as a gymnast since childhood. Saying merely that she is flexible would be a huge understatement. She has a perfect control of her body: every pose is different but every pose is a winner. For instance, I'm in awe of how she uses her hands, how she manages to bring something more to already extraordinary poses by the way her hands are placed and tensed. It’s difficult to put in words the uniqueness of the end results.
The photos come from many different photographers but, even though, I got the feeling that she has a lot to say on how she gets shot so all sets end up having some sort of “Mosh style”. Unfortunately, the 350+ photo sets are dumped into a single huge listing sorted by release date. Apart from adding listings for categories (latex, nude, stockings, ...) it would make a lot of sense to group or, at least, make sets searchable by the metadata that is shown when you open them: photographer, garments designer and so on.
The site has much more text pages than the usual solo site: tips, diaries, biography, faqs but interaction seems to be limited to email. She periodically posts publicly replies to emails she gets, specially when it’s other models asking for advice. Looks like there were some webcam chats at some point and also a forum of some sorts but nothing seem to be going on in that direction currently. |
