Have a lot of people had problems with the download speeds noted by others? I am considering subscribing but I don’t want to go through the torture of waiting for downloads to be completed. For what it is worth, I have had good luck with using Free Download Manager for other slow sites such as Videobox. I don't know if that might work for the site also.
I think the content is mostly 2nd or 3rd rate. It's too bad because it is a great site in d/ling, customer service and the Company seems to care about running a 1st rate site.
I don't know if it's my computer or something else but while I can d/l med quality w/ FDM, I can't get the higher quality( I can stream them). Any ideas?
I am getting only a speed of about 150 (using free download manager doesn't help). Has anyone been able to get a faster speed? The site offers a lot of material but if that's the typical speed it is pretty useless IMO.

Thanks for the review; it's excellent because it gives me a clear idea of what is there and how I could use it, something other reviews don't always give.
I finally bought a membership and if you are fan of high end Euro features, it is worth it at $30 for a month vist. (I got it for $15 for the first month from a discount on another review site, which was a definite bargain.)
The site includes scenes from newer features for download and for streaming. The video quality for the new HD scenes is great; the quality for the older scenes is disappointing; if you have VB, you will get better quality there if it has the same scenes. Private should be remastering these scenes.
The site has its problems. First, you can’t browse the site once you start a download, which is extremely frustrating. Second, the size of the files are not stated on the site, nor is the length of the scenes. Third, if you are using the scene navigation, it does not tell you the name of the DVD the scene is from.
Download speeds varied using free download manager. At the high-end I got 2.1 mg but at the lower end around 300-400.
As to content, the new material is excellent, although there is too much silicoe for euro features.
While far from perfect, as far as I know, this is the only site you can use to get newer high end Euro features on a flat monthly basis. Dorcel Club could be an alternative, but from what I can gather it does not have any newer material, is expense, and has a bad reputation. (I don’t know why.) As far as I know there are no other Euro feature sites available in English.
I'm often tempted to join because I would love to get access to their newer material but I think that it is PPV or pay a DVD price per movie for the new stuff.
I have similar questions so any response would be appreciated.
I have 1 additional question- are new releases being posted at the site for d/l as part of the flat monthly fee?
After the most recent comment from the Webmaster regarding changes in the site, I attempted to subscribe through to the link provided by TBP. It didn't work because it rejected my CC, supposedly because the CVV2 No. was incorrect. I tried a couple of times making sure that it was right, and it still didn't work. I have used the card in the last week for other things, and had no problems. What most disappoints me, however, is the fact that I received no response from an e-mail I sent to the site, as well as the lack of any response here to my comments earlier. I was really looking forward to checking out the changes described by the Webmaster since I am a big fan of the studio, but it seems their problems with customer service and unresponsiveness noted by others here continue.
I just tried to join 2x and each time I received a messge that the CVV2 I had put in was incorrect. I checked carefully the second time and it was correct- it seems you hve a problem on the join form.
My guess is that if you join you get to download selected scenes without DRM but if you want a recent whole DVD you need to buy it seperately. Just a guess.
