Pros:
Phil, when he was actively doing photography, was, for my tastes, one of the best photographer of tease, upskirt, solo-girl photography anywhere. This is the largest collection of his material anywhere. Every once in a blue moon there is an update of hot remastered material with higher quality photos, video & sometimes extra pics that were left out originally because they include exposed boobs, etc.
Cons:
As I say, every once in a blue moon there is an update - mainly what you get is promises, excuses, stories about all the trials & tribulations Phil, the photographer, webmaster, site owner, etc, has in his personal life. Then there are polls about what the members would like to see instead of posting the material that the members have already said explicitly they would like to see. And you can also help Phil set up an auction site and you can let him know how many thousands of dollars you would pay him for a full library of the original material he has of his various models. But updates - only once in a blue moon.
Bottom Line:
In 2007 I gave this site a 95, because there were frequent updates of great material and if you were a fan of tease, upskirt, solo-girl stuff, you would have been insane not to have been a member of this site. Today I'm only giving a 50 because that is the lowest score that TBP allows. This site does not deserve a 50. If I were giving this site the score it deserves, I would give it a 20. It's painful to be a member of this site. I daresay there are zero satisfied members of this site. There's a forum type thing that is pretty much only made up fo members complaining for very good reasons about what a miserably run site this is. Phil's got tons of great material that could be remastered. He could hire someone to better organize the material that is here, which is just a freaking mess - no dates, there is "legacy material" for many of the models where the only thing you see before you download something is "set 1", "set 2" etc. And all of the original sites, which used to be available for membership to this site, have been melded into this site. So this site has only gone downhill further and further into the dust. Really too bad!
That Grooby Asian T-Girl site that includes Ladyboy-Ladyboy & Ladyboy.xxx has a prettier collection of models, for my taste, than Ladyboy Gold, though it's almost all solo stuff. Ladyboy Gold has the largest collection of ladyboys with men available, with lots of updates.
EA is doing a lot of TS with women. Joey Silvera has shot a lot of that material, though it's not the sole focus as it is with this site.
Kink.com has the dilemma of being based in SF, which is among the most careful places in the country. When will they be able to resume production? I wouldn't take a bet on it happening any time soon. I would say post-vaccine, whenever that is.
a) every porn company has the right to determine it's own business model, b) these business models often change by month - if you don't like what they're doing in September, check again in October - these days it wouldn't be surprising to see things change in terms of what you have to pay for d/l's, c) these days screen capture software comes as an included tool in every pc with the latest MicroSoft OS, so whether or not a site is allowing d/'s, you can certainly record a video for your personal use as it's playing on your pc - or just record the parts you want to record, so you're not filling up your storage with stuff you're not likely to watch again d) piracy - as in posting a site's content in forums or other places without their permission is still fucked up and whatever a site's business model happens to be, and whether that site is being clear or not, it's still on you as to whether you're being an asshole and forcing a site to raise their prices to survive. e) one can't reasonably complain about the rate of updates at Adult Time - 10 on the 7th, 11 on the 6th, 14 on the 5th, etc - far higher than any other site I can think of these days.
It's kind of like when you see pre-code movies from the early 1930's - the violence, the darkness, the blunt language, the sexual innuendo, the roles that women played - it's shocking when you see what was going on before the movie industry was leashed - and it's the same with porn of that early era - and the fact that it was all being played in movie theaters across the country is even more mind-blowing.
I think the thing about Water Power is that it didn't seem to be a film that was made to shock people, like Lizzie Borden and those types made - it was just a really really dark nasty story being told in porn form.
That's exactly the movie I saw. Definitely one of the harshest porn films I ever saw in a Pussycats theater, though there was usually 1 non-consensual scene in every movie of that era, sometimes a Lolita-ish scene as well. Porn movies got a bit more tame shortly after that.
There was weird crazy porn in the 70's, but it was mainly unpleasant - I remember one film I saw at a Pussycat Cinema where Jamie Gillis played a guy who would break into women's houses & perform enemas on them. Then in the mid-1980's there was the absolutely amazing Babyface 2 with the long scene of Jamie Gillis - again - there really were only a very few porn actors - as a demon male stripper unleashing a deranged nymphomania on the women that paid him to perform at a batchelorette party. And there was the wonderful surrealism of Rinse Dreams. But it was Bruce Sevens who really showed me how wonderfully weird porn could be with crazy intense hardcore porn that took things far beyond what anybody else was doing at the time - it was sexy, it was hot, it was sometimes hilariously funny and demanded a physicality from the performers that no other porn of the day did. John Stagliano was a huge friend & fan of Bruce Seven and Evil Angel has kept up that tradition - not everything they do is brilliant, but I always love when I see them pushing the envelope. Subtitles on Japanese porn - that's awesome. I'm a big fan of Japanese porn - Actionjav.com is one of my favorite sites - but there is no subtitling offered so I have no idea what is being said. While on one level I don't care, on another level I'm sure it would enrich my enjoyment for the material. I'm a huge fan of Stardom, a Japanese pro wrestling promotion that does subtitles for all of the promos before and after the matches and some of the trash-talking in the ring, and I wouldn't enjoy their stuff anywhere near as much as I do without those subtitles.

Good review of one of the best and largest, and most consistently updated, ladyboy sites there is. There's also the interesting aspect that some of the included sites really are different from each other. Ladyboy Gold tends to have the models come into the scene in sexy outfit, do a lot of tease, then do a solo scene. Ladyboys Fucked Bareback is similar to Ladyboy Gold, but instead of doing a solo scene after the tease, the models are fucked bareback. Ladyboy Vice is completely different - it's one guy who books models, who are escorts, or dancers in some of the Pattaya clubs. He then shoots a POV fuck scene with them. In the early dance of Ladyboy Vice, he almost always did the scene with a collar and leash on the models, sometimes handcuffs as well. the Ladyboy Gold & Ladyboys Fucked Bareback scenes always have photo sets that go along with the videos, the Ladyboy Vice scenes never do and there is rarely overlap between the Ladyboy Vice models & the models on the 2 other sites mentioned. As with most of the sites that are added to Adult Time, such as Femjoy, the content on Adult Time is only a fraction of the content on the site itself.
Having been a member of Adult Time for over a year, there are basically 2 tiers of sites that are hooked up with Adult Time. There are the Gamma-related sites (Devil's Film, 21st Sextury, the Adult Time original sites) where all of the individual site's content is on Adult Time, then there are the huge number of now-added sites where they add a scene now and then, but not the totality of what is on the site if you join that site directly. I think it's cool to get a sample of so many different sites, but I don't agree with the characterization that Adult Time would be the only subscription one would need if you're a big fan of the sites being sampled.
I joined Team Skeet for 1 month for under $10 for a deal I found online and was immediately offered an upgrade to Team Skeet premium for $60 with absolutely no explanation of what it was. Was this extra sites? Was this just getting what I would ordinarily get, but early? Was this a 50 cent Arby's coupon? Who knows since the site didn't tell me, so I turned it down because I'm not in the habit of buying a pig in a poke when I'm in my right mind.
There are sites that are sturdy as hell - you can go ahead and download to your heart's content from morning till night, use download enhancers, careen around in all corners of the site ping-ponging around like crazy. Nothing's going to crash. Nothing's going to give you warnings. Nothing's going to block you.
Then there are sites that have some eccentricities. You respect their eccentricities and they'll treat you right - maybe they're got clearly stated download limits or whatever.
Then there are sites like this one - not many, luckily, that need to be treated like a rare flower - an orchid or some other exotic. It looks good so don't worry about it. Now - VERY IMPORTANT! DO NOt attempt to stream or download another video or zip set while that 1st video is downloading - or you'll be blocked for 24 hours. Done downloading that first one? OK - now very carefully, you can navigate to another video that you want to download - but be sure that first one is finished! Found another one you want? Cool - go ahead and do the same thing. Don't go thinking you can do this all night. That 2nd one is probably your last to download for the night if you don't want to see they're "you screwed up" page letting you know that you're blocked for 24 hours. Oh, and the site works best if it is the only site open on your computer - period. It gets jealous if you're open a bunch of other windows and what not and is even more likely to give you that "you screwed up" screen. OK - now how about the content? It's quite good. They have bonus videos that you can stream - no downloads - of other studio's work that is not exclusive to this site, but other than that, everything here is exclusivde and it's unique. It's kind of like the Gay version of Pacino's Adventures except they have a bunch of people in different countries looking for hot Latino guys to shoot - and their agents aren't doing the fucking. There's rarely more than 2 or 3 scenes with any 1 guy so there's a lot of variety, though if you find a fave, oh, well. The only guy here that I've seen elsewhere is Puerto Rican Jae G, who was in Cockyboys for a minute & on other sites as well, I believe. Too bad the site is so fragile, because it's got a lot of fun exclusive content and a good price.
The quality on remastered stuff seems to really depend on how high-res the original was and what the original release was. Phil-flash has been doing some remastered releases of his 90's stuff with babes like Next Door Nikki, Tiffany Teen, etc. The vids don't look all that great, but the photos look fucking fantastic. Other sites like ALS Scan that do remastered releases, they're rarely all that exciting. The colors and general richness of the images pale in comparison to the best of their next stuff. Most of what I see of older stuff that I'm interested in like Alex de Rezny stuff or Bruce Seven stuff, I don't see being released in any great quality and I doubt there's high demand for it because new stuff is being shot with equipment that makes it look so much better.
Are you saying that Adult Time doesn't have 4K videos? Because that's not correct. I'm looking at the 21 Erotic Anal video that was posted today and there are 8 different download options from 160 p to 4K. Adult Time is about adult sites trying to survive in the age of massive porn piracy. One thing that've very clear about the site is that the more channels they add, the less frequently individual channels update.
The site has about 8-9 updates per day even as the number of "channels" has increased to 225, which means that large numbers of these channels only every uploaded a very few videos and not very many channels update more than once every week or 2. But that's still a large amount of content, and in terms of video quality, today, for instance, there were 9 updates - 5 offer 4K downloads the others top out at 1080.
With Adult Time, I'm sure that everything is licensed, and yes - it seems that there are sites like Burning Angel that partner with Adult Time fully - I don't see recent scene on Burning Angel.com that are not on Adult Time - and sites such as Exxxtra Small where they apparently licensed a small number of scenes (not the most current scenes) as advertisement for the actual site. Though I'm not sure how good of an advertisement it is for the actual site when they don't make clear that what is on Adult Time is purely a sample.
In terms of tube sites such as Porn Hub, I think that there's a mix of licensed material and material that's just uploaded to the site by users with no license to the producers - though they take down material that the producers complain about.
Like with many sites that are "added" to Adult Time. they posted daily for a very few days 12/12/19 to 12/16/19 and then nothing. So a membership to Adult Time is not going to be any substitute for Team Skeat, at least at the present time.
Too selective in their models for my tastes, which is why they fell off my favorite site position long ago. They missed the boat on booking so many great models that I brought to their attention, while booking other too-skinny dime-a-dozen white girls instead. Vina Sky is a rare case of them booking a gorgeous Asian model. Who was the last - Jade Hsu? It's just bizarre. They have great photography. Their videos need the right model to be exciting for my tastes. Their model booking is, to me, where they have really fallen off.

Watching the scenes being released from the "I am Riley" DVD, it strikes me that these scenes could have been released by another studio. There's no concentration on extreme anal stuff or gaping or anything particularly outre. And the same could be said of the Cam Girls stuff that Evil Angel did earlier this year. Is it a sign of Evil Angel maturing? Or relaxing? Or not worrying about whether they are doing everything in a way that fits a certain mold? I dunno. Some people might not like it at all. Me, I'm happy about it. I want to see Evil Angel do what they want to do and just make good porn of various types with no obligation for gape scenes or other stunt work.
