I joined this site, and was going to move on, but when I tried they offered me $9.99 a month for as long as I remained a member. Great deal for a site with a kazillion videos!
This site, and it's network, was once a great place before ownership changed. They now engage in the shady practice of throttling download speed during various times of the day, that is to say they intentionally and with malice aforethought slow down your speed, even to less than 100 kb/s at times. Of course the motive being to save bandwidth and increase profit. Before you ask, yes I checked this out thoroughly to make sure it wasn't me. For instance, I downloaded simultaneously form Met-Art and this site; Met had my normal speed, OBJ was drastically slower. I did join through TBP discount, perhaps it's only us. But I'll never know, because after I rip the whole site by downloading day and night, I will never join this or any of their sites again.
This site, and all the sites in its network, will take you for a ride if you don't watch every click you make. You'll find yourself being billed left and right for every site you visit (yes, i had to bother ccbill for a refund and to suggest to them to drop this site).
BTW, the site sucks. You can't even download their puny amount of videos.
Camera Work/Direction Needs Improvement On Newer Videos
I rejoined this site after a couple years (and giving a very good review). I think Monsieur Root thinks of himself as an "artiste". For porno, the camera work and direction is not proper to the genre. It seems that every view of the "action" is limited to 2 or 3 seconds before you get a cut or edit to something else---very often a close up of a stunt cock's face. I feel like I'm back in the 1970s when directors were afraid of showing too much sex lest they be charged with obscenity,so they did quick cuts and plenty of male facial closeups. We don't need to worry about that anymore. Consumers want to see the sex, and they don't want to see male faces.
The VOD section of this site now offers downloads, but not many. The problem is if you look through the section while previewing, it gives the impression that all the titles are available for download (of course when you click the download link, it leads to the join page). After you join, you will find that the vast majority of titles have a greyed out download box that says "download available soon". A shame, but also very misleading of them.
Rodney Moore is known as one of the stingiest porn producers in the business, but I liked his old stuff and after all this time decided to give it a go.
It was no go.
Paid my money and waited. And waited. And waited.
No access.
CCBill was good about it, bending over backwards to try to help me. They tried and tried to contact the webmaster, who is Moore. He ignored them. CCBill said they had to give him 2 days, by law, for him to contact back. He did not.
Without me asking, they charged back and advised me not to bother. Full refund.
Although this site is a reasonable 1,980 yen ($18.10!)a month, be warned that they have something they call a point system. What it means is the more months you are a member, the more you will see. A lot more.

I wrote the webmaster to tell him I'd be glad to pay a premium price to see the whole site, but he would not budge.
That being said, the site does offer super high quality material---beautiful Japanese Gravure models photographed and videographed very well. Billing for non-Japanese is easy and honest. But, if you quit before your month is up you won't get back in!
If you are a fan/collector of the old loops, one reelers, shorts, stags, smokers---this site is a real bargain.
I'm blown away by all the material they have here. The 1970s section alone has about 5000 films. Rare stuff.
Actually, it seems to be the Blue Vanities collection, the legendary porno archivists. The flash streams here are the best I've seen, never a lag. And they are now beginning to remaster the films, which I'm sure will be a slow process.
It's true, some of the films aren't available to download, but it's very easy to capture and convert them.
TBP has listed a full trial, but it won't be long enough if you want this stuff.

There is no more DRM at Private. I decided to take a shot at this site, because they do have high quality material, but I didn't trust them.
While the site could use some improvement, contrary to what this reviewer claimed at the end of this August, there is no DRM whatsoever. Reading his review just now got me paranoid, because I was a member in August (he claims they have a "7 day DRM") so I ran a thorough check of what I downloaded (my membership is now expired). No DRM. I even ran a number of videos using Real Player, which wouldn't work with DRM---no problem. I even went so far as to convert a video into mpeg format---no problem.
The site could be better, no real search to speak of, and they need more of their massive library there. But a Private site without DRM is a good site.
I had been a member twice before here. So I joined again, only to find that the member must log in to download every video. And setting your browser to remember password won't work.
I'm getting a refund.

If the people who run this site now read this, why do you do this? Your billing rep offered me a free month, and I declined. Stop being so paranoid and make your site user friendly.
No surprise that there are no reviews or comments for this site---the Real Evil Angel site (not to be mistaken for their other junk sites that provide low quality "B" material). Evil Angel is one of the top porno studios, yet they are still stuck in the ripoff 20th century. No downloading allowed, unless you consider DRM, stay connected to their website and expired when you're gone, downloading---which I do not.
This site is basically an advertisement (that you pay for) for their grossly overpriced videos.
If someone from this site reads this, I never join a site without being able to see a few previews. Mostly just to see the quality.
It's good business sense for a site to show previews. Not doing so makes it seem like you're hiding something.
