It's interesting that regardless of reading your reply with implied < sarcasm > ... < /sarcasm > tags around, or without them, I still like it :-).

Since I started all of this, I feel obligated to have something constructive to say. I think that reviews must be written as objectively as possible, while also taking into account our own particular bias. That means that you have to back up your opinions and add enough facts so that your point of view is convincing. What would would have worked much better here were some comments, not reviews. A comment doesn't mean as much, but also doesn't need to have as much backup. At the least, a comment is not pretending to be something it is not. By the way, thanks guys for all your responses. Good looking out!

Wow, a REASONABLE webmaster, a rare find these days :-).
IMHO (though there can be disagreement from other members or even PU administration, I'm not sure) there is nothing wrong with posting link to PU on your site. On the other hand, for a PU review to be taken seriously, it's not enough to say something like "Kedra is the most beautiful girl on the planet", it's necessary to elaborate; the problem IMHO wasn't THAT your members wrote reviews, the problem was HOW they wrote their reviews: it looks that they've just tried to do you a favor, putting high ratings without enough explanation, which in fact lead to the exactly opposite effect, causing suspicions of dishonesty etc. And I have no idea if it's at all possible to avoid such effect when publishing a link to PU for site members :-(.

Is it the case that you can save pics individually but just can't get a zip download of the set? The way that I read it originally was that members are unable to save/download even individual pics, which may be a mis-read.
That is the case with some small model-run sites - such as Jannah Burnham's "Just Jannah". At least when I was a member for one month quite a while ago, when you tried to save any pics, you got a "property of Just Jannah" message. I've seen discussions in webmaster/model forums that this is a great idea for preventing piracy - as a person considering whether or not to join a site, though, it brings the value way down.

Thanks for your posts, Kedra - makes me see why your members are so fond of you. I see nothing wrong with internet models or anybody involved in running a site encouraging their members to let other people know what they think of the site - you're not running it for nobody to ever see it, after all.
The reviews will have no meaning, though, if they are so over-the-top that they aren't believable. They'll just be dismissed by many, as they have been here, as bad advertising attempts, which might be entirely unfair to your site.

Welcome to PU.
I didn't mean to come off like a dick-hole or anything, I was just joking around with my fellows.
I haven't been here for long, but I have been here long enough to see shining reviews of new sites that come about from a webmaster mentioning to users that "There is this site called Porn Users and...."
I do believe that these people love you and your site, and maybe they might even be right, but they are biased and these reviews don't matter much. It is easy to know which reviews to trust, because of our trust ratings system and group of dedicated users. Will the guys who posted the positive reviews stick around here and do reviews of other sites? The regular users won't buy the reviews and I think even your casual user wouldn't either.
If you have a good site, and I'm sure you do, good reviews will come. You gotta pay your dues and do your time first.
