Several examples:
One of my all-time favorite models has always been known as "April Flowers" to me but Vivid has shortened her name to just "April", do you know how many models there are named April (something)?
Another Vivid though not as common of a name is Raylene. I do know there's a Raylene Richards in porn who isn't the same as Vivid Raylene and they're both busty, curvy, models.
We also had that phase where models were being named Indya and Chyna. Had to study a map to figure out who was who.

As far as I know the vast majority of performer who were known with only one name precede the internet and that may be why they were able to do that and still have great porn careers and yet the actual number is still quite small. I can add to exotics list the names of Seka, Serena, Tigr(although she used many more stage names) and Angel but that last one is very tricky because she may have used only one name. There have been many other performers to use that name and the only real way to know which Angel I'm referring to require that you are familiar with early 80's porn movies.

What I DO find annoying is the continual change in name of models from one site to another.
E.g. on one site a model is named Elena; on another she's named Merit.
Or, Lera (amour angels) is named Camille on femjoy.
Or, Sunna (amour angels) is named Milena on the metart sites
It's really irritating if you want to follow them across the different sites.
