Adult Time accounts persist after cancelation

I canceled my Adult Time membership because it had a discounted price that expired after one month and I didn't want to pay more. The account expired, and today I got an email from Adult Time asking me to return.

In the email, they state that my account, though expired, is still extant and I can log into it to look at new content (though haven't tried it, and I doubt I can stream or download it). If I rejoin, my account will be reactivated with all my favorites and recommendations intact.

Not sure how I feel about this. Part of me is okay with it, but part of me thinks "canceling means canceling" and I want my account eliminated. I leave it to you to draw your own conclusions about whether or not this is a good thing.

Just passing on the pertinent information.

exotics4me (0) Hey Loki,

Back in 2010 or so, 21 Sextury brought us the continuing account feature. Hard to believe, it was originally used as a selling point to collectors. If your membership ran out, you could still sign into the members area and see if your favorite models had any new content, unlike most sites where you had to join to see inside the member area.

Back then, if you remember, we didn't have thousands of porn promos. Nowadays, if you go to use a promo with your previous login credentials on a site, it recognizes you as a past member and asks you to login. When you login, the promo is gone and you are offered a "reactivate" price, usually $10 - $15 higher than the promo.

Thanks. I'd never joined any of the networks that make up Adult Time before, so I didn't know it was a standard feature for them.

A decade is a long time on the interwebs. I remember those days. But I also remember downloading individual pictures from sites before zipfiles were common, too.
