It is rare, in my opinion, to see a site of unique, fetish content on a network -- House of Taboo is that.
Over 1,250 videos and 1,250 photo sets.
They are only averaging a couple updates per month, but there is a huge, excellent network included (DDF).
Should appeal to those that believe sites like Kink are too hardcore or too fetish-heavy. This is more like mainstream porn meets their kinky friend for a night of fun.
Rarely seen props and contraptions; in my opinion, these are probably made for DDF to be less strenuous or stressful on the models.
Very mainstream porn models are even in these scenes. With the content being exclusive I would think those are rarities. |

Not a high percentage, but 10% of the scenes don't even use a fetish. Maybe their costumes are the fetish? It's not a big deal. |

Kink's Network is my favorite bondage, BDSM network, but House of Taboo shows a lighter, more mainstream accessible side to bondage and BDSM.
I couldn't possibly cover all the niches and fetishes they cover. You do see a common theme of light bondage. It could be the model's hose tying her legs open or bounding her arms behind her back. They use minor ball and gag devices as well. They have scenes with what I believe in a homemade pillory, head/hands through holes to present the model as helpless.
In the cons, I mentioned some of the models looking overwhelmed. For some viewers of this type of content that is a good thing. When you watch bondage porn both the male and female are usually equally experienced and adept at using the bondage. You don't get that feeling here. You feel like the woman just had her arms bound behind her for the first time. I wasn't for sure if that is a con or pro. Experienced bondage sex can become repetitive. I listed it as a con because that could bother some viewers. It doesn't me. The House of Taboo scenes are entertaining and most of the time you see a very enthusiastic struggle from the female model. In my mind, they are torn between fighting the bondage and submitting to enjoy the sex.
One of the biggest differences between House of Taboo and a site like Sex and Submission is the amount of major star models on House of Taboo. The scenes are on the harder side of mainstream hardcore, including double penetrations, bound mouth with anal and even bound mouth and hands double penetration.
The newer scenes (last 12-18 months) could pass for Kink scenes, that is how hardcore they are becoming. I will share a tip to look at the older content if you are looking for the less hardcore. The older content has more girl/girl scenes and lighter fetishes like urinating/nurse watching and even a fucking machine similar to Kink's.
It is a steady progression and there is content from 2006 - current.
I have not had any problems using the site. It could be a little better with helping me (you, anyone) find similar scenes to the ones we like. They have tags and they work well, but I have seen some scenes that the tags are not right on.
If you are a downloading type, the photo sets can be downloaded and this genre is a good one for photos. I prefer their download options of videos. They have 360p, 480p, 720p and 1080p. The sites with too many options make it easy to click the wrong one. The streaming player is okay, it buffers a lot when I use it, but it could be my internet connection. The older videos do not have streaming option. They only offer downloads on those.
You also receive 16 other sites with the network. There have content in all of the mainstream categories.
House of Taboo is either my 1st or 2nd favorite site on the network. I will try to cover the fetishes I see the most often on it: urinating, light bondage, rough girl on girl, dual penetration, anal, costume (usually latex suits and masks) and props that could be as simple as a ball gag to a pillory. If I could fix one thing about it it would be more updates. |
