Pinche - I think you've made some harsh assumptions here. No, it's not right to offer a product and substitute it for something completely different. But to suppose it has something to do with his sexuality or political agenda? I understand that getting people to part with their money is getting harder and harder these days - especially here in the U.S., where the middle class is finding itself with less and less disposable income. I'm more inlcined to believe that it was a just a very misguided attempt to grab more money anyway he/she/they can. Unfortunately, those "psycho asshole porn customers", as you call them, probably constitute the lion's share of money spent on Internet porn these days. I've seen that same "give me porn - any porn" attitude evolve in the file sharing community and I'm sure I'm not the only one to notice it. So, to me, it's a simple matter of someone at a porn site seeing they might be able to take advanatge of a trend and rake in some extra cash. Is it right? Hell no! But, as is often (and erroneously) attributed to P.T Barnum, "There's a sucker born every minute...and two to take 'em." I seriously doubt those suckers are smart enough to start a crusade against unsrcupulous webmasters.
That's one of the reasons we have this forum. I've done my part and spoken out against something I see as just plain WRONG. And again, I only hope the people responsible for the switch will see this and respond...
