Hey, Denner. I've been curious about Pier999, too. Are they squirreling away, getting all those pics up to 2000px? (I can dream.) Or has this ship left port and is lost at sea?
Is Pier999 anywhere near the Bermuda Triangle?

The last update was December 5. It seemed to me that this site was run by one person, so maybe something happened to make him be away for a while.

My last membership ended Dec. 12th, and they were doing updates at least until then, but not every day. More like, several days off and then a big fat slew of them all at once, including a few from the once-sacred VIP section! (Not any more thrilling than the VIP section at LSG, BTW. *yawn*)
Seems like they were throwing things overboard. Or maybe there was a muntiny? Did someone have to walk the plank?

Thinking also about JD's idea: If just one person had to run the site, I could see that as being kind of stressful. All of those comments coming in and having to answer them (he answered one of mine). And who's going to turn the new photos and raw video of the lovelies into glossy eye candy for us lecherous old salts? Eh?
Maybe this ship's been left on autopilot, snagged on a reef, busted by the Coast Guard for bringing along that contraband.
