Or in this case, flat-out lie. They know exactly what they are doing and just don't care they are ripping people off. Well, there are things we can do. One of them is issue a fraud complaint with your bank if they don't offer a refund upon contacting them. I have taken that step before and that usually gets the webmaster's attention. Something else you can do is go directly to their payment provider and ask for a refund there. Some won't do it (CCBill) but some will, at least in certain cases (Paycom). The more people that pass on these B.S. sites and the less people will be taken in by them. Reply To Comment
