I agree - I always went for the "second best" option when downloading from VideoBox - their compression for the DVD Quality stuff just isn't enough. Especially when you consider that DivX can now pretty easily fit DVD quality video with multiple sound options, chapters, subtitles and menu system within the space of a normal CD. Now granted, most movies don't have continuous movement like most gonzo porn, but still - nearly 1 Gig per scene is silly.

Yea When a scene are that big It feels like they didnt have time ore something to be concerned about the size of the file... The size of DvD sites compression on there content is also a important in my book. If you now want people to pay to get the DVD-quality option.

Totally agree, It's NOT worth the extra money to get the "DVD quality" videos available at a premium rate I have done comparisons and the quality is not that much better. But as previously mentioned, the size of the file becomes MUCH bigger and therefor the time it takes to download.
I guess they have done a great job on the "good quality" compression, while doing a lousy job on the "DVD quality compression".
So DON'T sign up for the more expensive "DVD quality" videos available at the premium rate, but stick to the 10bucks normal subscription.
