Can't download single images

I've posted this on their message board but figured I'd also post here incase someone else has had this problem. If I try to save individual images using a download manager in FireFox, I get a 403 error. If I try to right click and save file as, it'll save it but when I try to open it I get a "Not a valid jpg image".

Anyone else have this problem? I know I can just download zips but frankly don't care to see pretty much the same image 5 times or have to go through 100+ images when all I really want is 20-25. Overall site is great but this could be a deal breaker for me.

RESOLVED: The problem is not with Firefox and the site but the problem is with DownThemAll and the site. It appears that some added security feature throws off the download manager, so it ends up thinking there is no file or that you down have authorization to download it. Overall not a big deal.

Drooler (Disabled) I don't know if this sheds any useful light on things, but I just tried and could download a single image by clicking the thumb and right-clicking, saving as ... That's in IE 7 with no download manager.

I agree it's a chore to pick through the images when there are so many and when some are similar. But it's probably a chore no matter how you approach it. And, IMHO, sometimes the subtle changes in facial expression or body language are interesting.

Too many images vs. too few images, I've finally decided that too many is the better of the two evils, because there's more choice and less missed, but of course that means more time tossing and/or more disk space being used. Oh, well ...

Jeffrey99 (0) After doing some testing it appears the site has probelems with Firefox. If I download any images using IE or the IE Tab of Firefox, it'll download just fine. It's just I lose all my features that make downloading soo much easier in FF. And if I download the full zips, then it works fine too.

Webmaster has replied to my message board thread. So if if they figure something out, I'll add it to here.
