+A variety of download format options
+Site search function
+Advanced search tools for searching by categories/tags
+Expansive upcoming DVDs (wish they would use the layout on this page on the rest of the site)
+3 month package deal at ~22% off ($70 for 3 months, vs $90 at the monthly rate)
+Content is so good that AdultBouncer licenses it, although there is a two way street here. Vixeo seems to have licensed content from AdultBouncer I've found from time to time. Very odd.
+Ability to stream scenes online (for the newer content, at least)
+Allows rating of movies
+All movies include super HQ images of the front and back covers.
+All movies list their PRODUCTION DATE, something you rarely see with a DVD site. |

-Poor job with cast lists. Most movies have no listed cast.
-Movies don't list their addition date
-I hate when you search for a name and if it doesn't exist instead of getting a blank page you get a list of random DVDs which makes you THINK you got results when you actually didn't. The failed search text is rather subtle.
-Not a fan of their means of organization. They use 1 column of movies, and you see 6 movies per page. Compare this to VideoBox/VideosZ/DVDBox/etc. where you get a page of rows and columns where you can see 15-25 movies on a page.
-The search function is not great, although this is mainly due to their poor job with cast lists
-No way to browse their whole archive. Newest DVD page shows only 68 movies. Compare this to other DVD sites where you can browse through all the movies on the site, page by page.
-Videos are watermarked
-Lots of old movies offered as split files
-Lots of old movies where there are insufficient screencaps. Newer movies do not have this problem |
| Bottom Line: |
Bottom line is that you probably don't need this site for your porn enjoyment. Besides the fact that the site is hard to find stuff you want (thanks to poor care taken to providing incomplete or missing cast lists for a high percentage of their films), there is a rather high overlap with other sites such as VideoBox (another con I could not fit because of character limits), and for $23/mo you don't need to waste your money. It is very hard to determine their rate of new additions. I see their new additions page, but I never visited often enough to measure the rate of additions (nor should I have to do that for any quality porn site) and one thing that you expect to be paying for with porn sites is a regular update schedule, and for all I know they don't update at all. They really could use some work on providing information that would lead you to believe that they are actively updating their site with fresh content.
One other minor qualm I have is that even after you successfully login to the site you feel like you never logged in at all. The image which says "AS LOW AS $0.77 PER DAY" still remains, the LOGIN button remains, the JOIN NOW button remains, etc. Seriously, you couldn't take the time to make a members-only looking page like the other 99% of porn sites out there? This is one of the things you see on a cheaply made porn site where little or no effort is put into development of the site. Makes me feel like Vixeo is really a second, or maybe even a third rate site. |
