For me it depends on the site. I'll watch vids full screen if they look great full screen. If they are going to look better smaller, I'll watch them smaller.

I agree completely with PinkPanther. The screen size will vary with the quality of the video. Whichever is clearest and sharpest.

I used to be like both PinkPanther and Maloicchio, but with the volume of material available now in very high resolution, I tend to not watch vids that don't show well full screen.
The sites that stay with the lower resolution stuff will lose a lot of business soon if they don't improve their offerings.

It all depends on whether they are HD and whether or not De-interlacing can be done on a particular CODEC.
I found that large high-res screens punish poor quality images and video, therefore 'normal' or 100% original size can often make playback acceptable.
I've also found that VLC is better than most for video playback. Mainly because it is light and fast, and finds the codecs you already have on your system. As a bonus you can adjust Gamma on playback which is rather helpful for videos with too much constrast.
If this all seems a bit technical, its because I rather appreciate the content and efforts of the artist rather than notice video artifacts and jagged playback.
I agree with Monahan about sites losing out to better quality offerings.

I like to view most videos as large as possible with the player open rather than at true full screen as you normally lose picture quality.

I always watch in full screen atless the video quality isn't good enough to where I have to make it smaller. But the sites I join usually have good quality, so I can watch my vids in full screen and enjoy.

It depends, the good parts I usually watch in full screen, or when I'm away from the screen it's full screen too.
But otherwise I have it windowed, so I can search the video better for the "good" parts ;)

I'm with djwolf: all videos full size of the player. If it looks really bad, I'll either download a higher-res version or just delete it for being a bad video taking up hard drive space.

It depends on what my chances are of being caught ;)
When I can get away with it, fullscreen is far superior for the majority of videos than windowed mode.
Perhaps with dated, low res clips being the exception.

Videos should always be seen full screen.
