I rejoined recently myself because I got a good promo offer.
Whilst I am pleased I did, I still think user selected zips are required.
Some sets have as many as 250 pics in, telling a story that could easliy be told in 100pics or a bit less.
These sets feature a lot of duplication of poses so could be regarded as padding.
I have started pruning after download, but I find it a PITA!

I know that you have been waiting for a user selected zip option, Cap'n. I think we've talked about this before but with Windows 7 I simply extract the contents of the zip file, change view to large icons and eliminate all the pictures I don't want, so it basically amounts to the same thing. Come to think of it, seeing that I have the Pro version of Winzip, I only have to open the file and delete one by one the superfluous pictures. The icons are large enough that the details of a picture can be clearly made out. It might be worthwhile looking into investing in Winzip Pro because, as you know to your frustration, most sites don't offer the option you are waiting for.

Yes, I am using similar software.
I would just rather not download 100MB & have to delete 80MB of it.

As usual, a very comprehensive and informing review, messmer. I've been contemplating joining something, anything that'll bring back some hair. I'll give this one serious consideration when making a decision.

Thanks for the review. good to read the photo sets come in one zip now, last time i was at any of the ATK sites it was 20 pics per zip and so time consuming to unpack them all and move to one folder.

I know what you mean! I've subscribed to this site quite a few times in the past and it was a nuisance to zip each individual page in a set. :-)

Good review. I agree with most of your points. I was a long-time subscriber to ATK N&H - over ten years consecutive. In fact, I gave them an outstanding review only a year or two ago.
I quit in 2010, probably for good. They really made a lot of changes to the way they operate, and almost all of them degraded the site.
1) Too many repeats of the same models
2) A reduction of their stable of photographers. They have only about two left that are any good.
3) Hardcore porn videos. SLick, over-produced sets and format.
4) Using pro porn stars. They are fake in every way except no silicone.
5) Not really trying to find real amateurs and natural GND gals and not willing to pay to get them.
There is more, but do you really care? They basically drove me away - I guess in favor of some other type of customer. I bet they will be out of business in a year or two.

I basically agree with all the points you make regarding this site. It is really too bad because it was one of a small handful I revisited over and over.
As to your last paragraph, I was sure they would go under but it seems there are enough Porn users out there who prefer quantity to quality, but the sad thing is that I no longer care after watching disappointing updates, day after day. I finally decided, no more. So they definitely will no longer exist for users like you and me.

I also a agree with all of your points, I have recently cancelled my subscription because of the points that you have listed above. Unfortunately they have lost a lot of good photographers and not replaced them.
There is also a lack of new models coming on to the site.
The number of pictures in some sets are way too high I don't like trawling through hundreds of photos in the same set.
For some reason which I can't quite place the girls no longer look natural!
Another downside I have found is that the site is blocking download managers
