Adding insult to injury!

I really did not like this site and only visited it four times during my one month subscription but now I just received a renewal notice from them and that's after I had canceled four weeks ago and had received acknowledgment of that cancellation, stating that there would be no further charges.

Time will tell if they will honor my request for a refund but since this is the very first time this has happened to me I will reduce the score of my review by five points. Reliability has to count for something!!

Tree Rodent (0) Thanks to PU and TBP, I think this sort of thing happens less than it used to, nevertheless it still does happen. It makes people afraid to give their credit card details, so download for free instead. There are a lot of reputable sites out there, but you still sometimes see that old rip off, fleece em once, cheap gangster mentality.

If you are feeling benign you might go for the latter.

At the moment I would bet on incompetence myself. This is another PUs favorite site and I'm sure we would have heard from him if they were guilty of shady practices. I know they are not very quick to respond because I sent the email this morning and am still waiting for a reply at 1910 hrs. AST. Normally I will give them two business days but a quick reply makes the difference between canceling the charges and a refund.

They should really focus on keeping their customers happy though.

I'm feeling somewhat guilty for messmer's disappointment with this site, since I did strongly recommend it and I'm sorry it didn't work for you.

However, despite that, it still remains my favourite site (and have been through a number more since my review) - it might be relatively soft and perhaps the photography might be seen as too artsy by some folks, but I find it much more erotic and exciting than the other art-nude sites. And there aren't many sites run by a single photographer that manage daily updates - there is either a high res set of maybe 80 pics or a HD video of 6-10 mins every day.

I also had no problems managing my subscription via Billing France -which although not as familiar as CCBill, seems to work well (and is a lot less esoteric than Allopass which I have come across on other French sites). And the photographer/webmaster is helpful and enthusiastic in the members' forum.

tangub, if you've not visited lately, the recent redesign gives you a slightly better flavour of the site now.

Yes I checked the site out again today and noticed that the billing company was Billing France, I don't know why but i always feel a bit uneasy about signing up to a site when i'm faced with an unfamiliar billing processor...i guess its a fear of the day when i have to call up my credit card company and say "hello, i joined porn site and they've ripped off my credit card" LOL

Just received notification of a refund a few minutes ago, tangub. In a way I hope you will subscribe AND write a review because I am genuinely interested to see if my evaluation of this site was too subjective. I tend to trust otoh but in this case we were miles apart.

No need to feel guilty, friend. Just because it didn't work for me doesn't mean it can't be someone else's favorite site. I highly recommended some sites in the past and then got disappointed comments from people who had expected more, or something different.

In the meantime I got an email from BillingFrance giving me a refund. However, they made no effort to apologize for their mistake, just told me I'd get a refund as per my request! :-) In any case all's well that ends well and I'm looking forward to tangub's review. Sometimes one's subjectivity can blind one to some of the positive things about a site so I wouldn't let it bother me if he gave the site a ninety as well! :-)

concerning your review, I'm sorry to hear that it didn't work for you, I guess we all have different tastes and expectations.
The forum of Petites Parisiennes is a good place to discuss about photography, you can request sets, I introduce the next models that I'll shoot and I'm open to suggestions concerning what members would like to see.

Hi jamy, I appreciate your kind and courteous reply, especially since your site did not fare all that well in my review. You are right, of course when it comes to differences in taste. We have two users, who are very much trusted by me, who absolutely love your site, so different tastes have to be taken into account anytime someone reads or writes a review.

Trouble is an amateur reviewer like myself can only go by his own subjective impressions and I think in my case, more than anything else, it bothered me to find so few sets that contained erotic lingerie in a site that had been recommended to me as something for the lingerie lover. There were other issues but that was the most important.

I do wish you all the best and am actually glad that my review was superseded by one that was more positive.

I shall also up the review back to where it was because Billing France DID refund me promptly (even though without an apology).

I understand perfectly your point of view, being a member myself of some websites for my personal pleasure, I know for sure that I don't agree all the time with the favorite models, favorite sets, and favorite pictures of other members.
I guess we also have divergences about what one's find erotic /or not. I read with interest some of your best rated reviews, and visit the websites, and it's obvious that my content is not fitting your expectations.
That said, I just want to congratulate you for your implication in the forum and reviews of PU, it's always appreciated, as a webmaster, to have members enough interested in their content to take time to write reviews and inform others. I appreciate a lot more a not_so_good_rated review about my work rather than no review at all ! Criticisms are always welcome, as far as they are fair.
