I think the revamp and renaming of the site is an attempt to give the site its own individual identity. Under the name Met Models I think most people had the impression that it was just the smaller inferior sister site of Met Art where they dumped the content that didn't make the grade to be showcased on Met Art.
From the tour it looks like they are using the exact same site layout i've just encountered at the other Met sister site The Life Erotic which is a big improvement as they have addressed some of the cons i mentioned in my review of last year such as the lack of a decent model index. I also notice from the tour that they have doubled the update rate to 2 per day from 19th January so i guess that would be their justification for the price increase.

...but isn't that really essentially what it is?
Even if the site is wearing smarter clothes! :0S

Not a member, but it seems to be the *tiniest* bit harder than Met-Art now. Models actually kiss each other, lick their lips and otherwise act overtly erotic, but its still only softcore as far as I can tell from the free portion of the site. Not nearly as big a difference as between Met-Art and Sexart, for example.
