Well, fine, great for US-citizens.....across the Atlantic it's still regional pricing, so that offer means about $28.....

Maybe check again. When I tried, it said 19.97€/month. I am seriously considering to join again.

Still regional pricing though. Don't join, boycott the sites that use this abhorrent practice!

Hmm, converting 19,97€ to $ it's about 26$. It's a little bit cheaper than before, but not much though. It sucks that one has to be so attentive to the currency. So it's still the same. Living in the US, join, living in Europe don't.

Agree...and that:
"Living in the US, join, living in Europe don't."....is a strange attitude for a PU....

Oh, yes - a support for regional pricing - the site owners and billing companies will like that - but most here at PU certainly do not...
Try to read all the threads about the matter.
And BTW: a general friendly attitude among PUs is the usual deal here...

I really doubt it will change their pricing scheme if I join or not. Just like I wonn't save the planet if I turn my lights out overnight.

If just you did not join or turn off your lights you are correct in saying nothing will change.
If a substantial number of people actually did those things then the rest of the world would eventually pay a equal price for our porn and we would be wasting a greatly reduced amount of energy.
The attitude is the problem.

The "substantial number of people" is the problem (and OK, this is the result of the attitude). I would happily boycott MetArt if I knew a substantial amount of users would do the same. There should be a list with participants and if the number goes up to a reasonable amount it would have the desired effect.

If everyone thought like that then they would all be waiting for each other and nothing would change!

I will make a suggestion for such lists on PU and will be the first to participate, no problem. Seriously, has there ever been such a suggestion?
