I was a member about two months ago. They do not really have a download limit (unless it is larger than I would ever hit). But they make accessing and downloading difficult with irritating timeouts. If you click a download link (for a zip), you have to begin downloading it within about 2 minutes or the link times out. You cannot use a download manager but DownThemAll in Firefox works provided you start the download within under two minutes. So you cannot queue them.
Links from thumbnails to photos also time out in a few minutes. If you have had the thumbnail page for a photo set on display for more than about five minutes, then clicking a thumbnail just gives you the black bar that you describe. You have to return to the model's main page, open the photo set again from that page and then you can click thumbnails again successfully for the next five minutes. It is happy with opening in a new tab but only if you work within those timings.
Your entire login times out after a while. I cannot remember how long but I think it was somewhere between one and two hours. If your login has timed out, you cannot access anything until you restart the browser and then log in again.
They have a forum but they ignore all criticism and suggestions. They respond quickly to reports of definite faults though, such as blind links or missing images. Occasionally, they respond to praise of individual photo sets or models. Disrespectful comments are removed, which is fair enough. But they do themselves no favours by ignoring all constructive criticism.
