To be honest if a trial is good enough then I would join the site for 30 days - but I haven't found a site that I enjoyed enough to sign up - I can normally get enough content in 3 days to exhaust my interest, and I do the trial option a lot with sites that look interesting

Once in awhile, when I have been too busy to really enjoy a site, I've let the rebill work. I've never been happy with myself for doing this.
Like most others, if I enjoy a site I will come back over and over again every few months to see what's new. Few sites update often enough to make rebilling worthwhile and I get tired of one niche and look for another for awhile.

Once in a great while, but less often than I used to. Anymore, there would have to be a strong incentive in future updates.
Suppose Nubiles had a week-long, low-cost trial and I'd never joined before; I'd let that one rebill as the amount of material coming and already posted is substantial!
Otherwise, why not wait awhile?

I rarely let my trials rebill, because usually I never like the site enough to join.

I don't let trials renew too often, but I do let subscriptions renew on occasion if they're either a) so rich in content that I can't get everything I want in a month's time or b) They offer an awesome rebill price. I subscribed to the realitykings network for over 3 years because they offered me a $9.99 monthly option when I originally went to cancel (no idea if they still do that anymore). I wish more sites would do that!

REPLY TO #5 - troglodite :
If I sign up for a trial, it will only be for a full trial (where the TBP warning about a limited trial is not present) and then only if I can devote a significant amount of time to download all of the worthwhile content.
I have never let a trial flip into a full subscription, even when the site throws a "special" price to convince me to stay.

I just stay away from trials. If I am interested enough in a site, I will check the reviews here and on TBP, maybe RogReviews, and decide whether it is worth the money.

Unless I've made the mistake of forgetting to cancel the rebill, than I never allow a trial to extaend into a full membership. That said I have stuck after the trial, but that's because the site offered a special price to stick with them.

I cancel immediately to avoid the chance that I'll forget!
