The 'F' stands for Flash downloads (flv file format, which is just mp4 inside a different wrapper). The HD symbol is for straight mp4 downloads.
As for the download manager, I don't use one, so I can't help you there. I do know that their links time out after about 10 minutes or so, so you can't really queue downloads in a download manager.

Thanks for sorting out the logo. I assume it isn't related to the fact that these are Flash files because the lowest of the Flash resolutions (480) allows IDM.

I dont use IDM but i do use downloadthemall (DTA) download manager for firefox. And i to had the same problem at first and if your problem is the same as mine there is an easy fix. For DTA (probably the same for IDM)i just disabled the number of segments to 1/disable. I did this by going to preference then the advanced tab and move the slider. Not sure how to do it on IDM but if you look around im sure youll find it. GL and tell me how it goes.
