While 1080 is the "best" I also consider file size since I don't want a bunch of externals sitting around so I usually opt for 720 since it has almost the same look as 1080.

Tt depends on the file size, but often I'll go for 720 for the same reasons as Wittyguy.

I also go for the 720p because of the file size and since the quality of porn is less than stellar than why would I want to see it in 1080p HD?

I always prefer 720 for smaller file size, 1080 is overkill for me

I'm on the 1080m bandwagon. It looks fantastic, providing you have the production values to start with, and a decent monitor/screen to appreciate it.

I would prefer 1080, but my computer isn't too fast so 720 plays better.

REPLY TO #2 - Belthazar :
You make a good point Belthazar; sites need to work harder (better editing, more appropriate compression, etc.) to justify such huge but relatively short files. A good scene will always be worth the disk space, but if I'm on the fence I quickly delete or keep a smaller version (like 1280x720). I have no trouble keeping older 640x480 scenes since they are so much smaller and were shot before simply increasing resolution was thought of as a standalone improvement.

i store a lot of videos on external USB drives, seek times on 1080p vids are too slow so I always now opt for 720p which is fast more responsive.
