Somewhat, depends on what I am doing. I belong to 7 forums wait 8 or is it 9 .
In real life I would say somewhat.

I took the question to mean in my private life as opposed to on the net so I consider myself to be very social. If the question was in regards to any kind of social media like Twitter, Facebook or any other than the answer is the complete opposite because I refuse to use these platforms. I'm a member of 3 forums and I am a pretty active member of two of these and a partial one on the other.

Somewhat anti-social, in both real life and online.
I don't Facebook, Twitter, Pinterest, Tinder, Chatroulette, etc., and am probably won't anytime soon. Obviously I'm pretty happy to be here on PU, but I just can't share that with everyone in real life, while the sheer ignorance and knee-jerk prejudices of more mainstream sites make my blood boil. Personally I just get more out of socializing in real life than looking up old classmates (why would I want to reconnect with all assholes who made school so shitty?) or see newborn baby pics (I simply don't care about your children), though I do have my limits.
I guess this means I'm introverted because being around other people constantly, especially in bigger groups, just gets exhausting after a while and I need some time to "decompress/recharge" on my own. If you're an outgoing social person this can be hard to see as not weird and even harder to explain. And it certainly doesn't help that there now seem to be social groups for people and their interests that I always thought were, at least in part, to get away from bullshit traditional social obligations--atheist "churches" are the most blatant example. Does everything require a community?
A quote from the movie Heat sums up my feelings: "I'm alone, I am not lonely."

When I'm social, I'm very, very social -- sometimes to a fault.
Those could be times I would be in the company of one .... or sociably acquiescing a bevy of lovey, amply endowed beauties, all of whom, throwing caution to the wind, are in ready-mode to liberate themselves from any and all sexual inhibitions while sharing the moment.
When I'm not social: (a good example for that might be when a guy unapologetically pisses on my leg.)
I think I'd have to extend that to any other occurrence reaching that magnitude.

I don't see myself as being anti-social, but I enjoy being alone. Not all the time, but most of the time.

Participating in online spaces, as just has going to parties and other events with flesh and blood humans, makes one neither social nor anti-social. It's what you do at them.
It's worth considering that a troll who decides to stay home and off the boards is being more social as a consequence. But that's going to be temporary, probably.
