jberryl69 (Disabled) Yes, though interestingly enough I have never viewed a blu-ray on it and actually have only used it once to view a dvd (my fav, Blade Runner) in the three years I've had it. Hell - you can't hardly rent a hard copy of anything and there is no such video/movie I'd pay to own (except Blade Runner). Not even Rocky Horror Picture Show which is the movie I've seen the most. It's all about streaming these days. (This of course this discounts and does not include porn which is an entirely different animal with the ability to download & edit it.)

pat362 (0) Technically I own three since I have a PS3. One is set up on my 55" TV where I watch most of my movies (that's non-porn movies) and the other two are on my 46" TV. I can't be sure if dvd's look better when played on a BluRay but they sound a lot better and that adds a lot to the viewing experience.

I now own a decent quantity of BluRay movies as the price is now about the same as most dvd.

Drooler (Disabled) I stream all the movies I watch. Quite a few years ago, I found that it's available on cable television.

Jay G (Disabled) Yes, but have almost never used it. With Netflix, Cable, and the internet, my DVD usage is just about over, I think.

I have a few hundred DVD's that I bought in sets or was given as gifts that I have never watched and am unlikely to watch in the future. Like all those cassette tapes I collected in the past.

Cybertoad (Disabled) Blueray is not what it was cutout to be,unless you are a rich SOB abd can afford a 84" screen it wont make that much of a difference.
Besides that go buy a PS4 and it comes built in.

ghosty (0) I don't own a BluRay player. I have a HTPC. Which I very much prefer, because I can play BluRays or stream videos from my NAS.
