I love women of all ages. Seeing a sexual woman develop over the years is wonderful. A hot woman is hot until she stops trying..... only then does she cool off.

Depends on when she started. It's different if she started when she was 18 or 20 rather that 24 or 25. Generally, by the time she gets to 30 it's probably time to think about getting out (although that's really not a hard and fast rule either.) Then there are the timeless beauties (Eufrat comes to mind) who just see to get better with age.

A pornstar's "shelf life" depends on a bunch of factors including her basic sexiness and smart personal management of her assignments. Nancy Suiter should have been around for a long time but lasted only a year or so. Nina Hartley, however, is still going strong 20 years after she started.

Porn is art (0)

I put more than ten years based only on the top tier actresses who take porn very seriously as their main, professional career. I know the majority of pornstars don't fit that description but Jay G nailed it right on the head; I love watching pornstars develope from almost illegal teen cuties into bombshell, beautiful women over the years. A great example is Madison Ivy, I was a huge fan of hers from when she just turned 18 and she's still one of my favorites now that she has become an extremely fit and gorgeous woman.
Also, some pornstars are so much hotter when they are in their late 20s and 30s. Has anyone seen Capri Cavanni lately?? Holy crap! She's so much hotter than she's ever been. Jenni Lee is another stunning woman who pops in my head who looks better now than she's ever looked. I feel like a big reason for that is because pornstars tend to get in better shape the longer they are in the business. In essence, I love watching pornstars develope over the span of years and even decades. Son of a bitch porn is so beautiful.

I was going to pick other as my answer does include two of the possible choices but I stuck with 2-3 years because I think this is the more realistic number at this moment. Now let me expand on my answer. If a performer can actually survive the first year than she is likely going to stick with it for a couple more years before she migrates full time to escorting or does stuff that does not involve her being naked and having sex.
Of course you still have a few well established and popular performers that have been at it for more than five years and they still get plenty of work. Mind you these are the women who can and should be called pornstar because they have earned that title.
On the opposite end of the spectrum. You have a regular influx of late teen early twenty year old women who clearly did not realise what was involved when they were fooled into doing porn. They tend to make a few scenes for a very limited amount of studios and then disappear to never be heard again.

Wow. Porn destroys a lot of beautiful women but some are just amazing for a decade or more. This may also depend on the intensity of the activity. Some exceptional European photo models are still going strong after 10+ years, but they just do photos and solo videos. Personality has so much to do with it. Smart, interesting ones that control their careers can go the distance.
