That is 100% unacceptable. They should treat long term customers much better than that. I suggest you contact their webmaster. Also thank you for the warning. It is these kinds of business practices that PU was made to help others on.

The download rules are not hard to follow, and they're clearly listed on the site's Terms of Use. Here are the rules:
350 zips allowed in a rolling 24 hour period
Two zips max downloading at the same time
One connection per zip file (no multi threading)
Any downloader can be configured to efficiently follow these guidelines so users are not wasting their time downloading files one by one, click by click. It's not at all restrictive if you take a few moments to properly configure your downloader.
If you write in to me I'm happy to review your download history on the server log and find where your problem lies.
