| Pros: |
- A somewhat hectic, completely perverse site that I've yet to figure out, which at least means it's unique.
- Update schedule is erratic, but they still have a fair amount of updates. So far in September there's only been two updates, in August there were 3 updates and July had 5, so there's no strict schedule, but there's still updates.
- Is part of the Kink Network and stands out for being not nearly as genre-specific as the other Kink sites.
- I would think this appeals to fans of BDSM, role-playing, bondage and voyeurism.
- Fast download speeds, around 90% of my max.
- More amateur interaction than any site I've seen. Will explain below.
- There's a story in most of the scenes and some of the models return to continue their previous stories. It's really not that great, but at least they're trying.
- Navigation is iffy, but once inside The Upper Floor site and away from the network, it's a lot easier to use. |

- I want to put this first because most of the TBP reviews list these sites, including this one, as having picture sets for downloads. There's no picture sets whatsoever. Not for browsing or downloading.
- These Kink sites are easy to nitpick since they usually are repetitive (by nature of staying true to their genre), but The Upper Floor is different. It's like a mixture of Sex and Submission with the live aspect they've used on several of their sites which includes a live audience, mixed with a renaissance fair that provides sexual stimulants to their guests. It's in the cons because I don't get it. Maybe it's just too far-reaching for me? It's not a big negative, but when you become used to things being perfectly clear then you get a site that you can't even figure out the basis for it becomes a con. |

The Upper Floor is my least-liked site on the Kink network (boy/girl content).
One of its biggest strengths is most of the people in the scenes are in costumes or if you want to say, non-typical everyday clothes. It's a strength since I either can't tell the amateurs in the audience from the pros in the action. This creates the closest I've seen to a believable public orgy. I could see a bunch of hippies in San Francisco dressing up like miscast medieval characters, getting tipsy, then getting naked and having an orgy. There are believable crowd interactions in the scenes. Many of the women that end up touching a female model or even fingering the model look like regular, everyday receptionists. I'll continue to tap into my imagination and believe their boring daily lives are repressing them sexually. They go see one of these live sex shows on The Upper Floor and lose all their inhibitions.
That's also the problem with the site. I like structure, order and discipline. Hectic is a four-letter word to me. It's kind of like watching a television series by starting with season 4, episode 7 and trying to figure out why you're seeing what you're seeing. You'll also see this with the update schedule. There's no pattern, no "X amount of updates per month/week/day".
The action on this site is mostly good, pretty normal for a Kink site.
And this is my take on what the site is about. If I'm wrong, it's okay, it's my take on it. The males are supposed to be these powerful, rich men who the females want to be slaves to. They have these various competitions like "who cums first loses". The loser then faces some kind of punishment. These scenes are usually shot in a room with 10-15 people. But then there will be scenes of one man and one woman in a closed bedroom.
There's lots of anal sex, quite a bit of throat-gagging and as said in the opening of the pros, perversions. The one big plus for me in the action is when those amateur-looking girls step in and start getting involved in the action. The rest of it comes off as typical hardcore porn in 2016 with an extra dose of bondage/clothespins. Maybe it is like a combination of multiple Kink sites into one?
Either way, I don't think it's enough reason to join Kink's network, but the other sites included with the network make it a good join. With The Upper Floor being a fun diversion from their usual sites. |
