Avatars After quite some years here, I neeeeeed change - getting a bit tired of my very old avatar (though it's someway a recognition). Been seeing some great, weird, far out, crazy ect. avatars around - but where do I find them - or find just one suiting me. Really dig a couple: British Benny Hill in a stupid cowboy hat or even Hitler wearing ear goggles and rockin' (would not choose that one, though) But some good links???? IMO The best bet is to come at it from a different angle. Find a .jpg on a subject that appeals or is appropriate and make one / have one made. I made my own.  Cap'n. It's just opinion but I hope you don't change it as I love the avatar. I like to see continuity, and avatars are like a recognisable face. I used to love Cybertoad's frog but he changed it. Toadsith's Patrick McGoohan is a classsic and I recognise the Drooler and Messmer posts the minute I see the avatars. Maybe I hate to see change. Oaky I hate to see change, I admit it. | |

I guess I got to bypass making that decision by just using my site logo as an avatar. But I have been trying to come up with a new avatar for my non-porn web use for a few weeks now. No inspiration at all  I have previously tried typing the relevant subjects as a search string in Google image search and seeing what comes up. The results may not always be suitable but might stimulate some ideas (and further searches!) Webmaster of StripGameCentral and A Measure of Curiosity. | |

I have done an amateur job of painting an avatar to use here, but haven't an earthly idea how to install it. I can find no instructions anywhere on how to do that or insert pictures, links or those personal thoughts that are put at the bottom of ones allotted real-estate. I'd be much obliged if a kind soul out there would explain how its done..... but keep it simple, please. I'm a man who is now in the throes of late-life-brain-mass-evacuation ... wherein even reading instruction on a simple aspirin bottle is rapidly becoming an uphill, comprehensive task.  | |

Well, let's see if I can help with this one. At https://www.pornusers.com/forum/forum_rules.html ... you'll find the rules for avatar graphics. It'll tell you the required size as well as what we do and don't allow. Once you have a graphic that meets the criteria (and know where it is on your computer), do the following: - From the User menu (at the top of the page) select "Edit Profile" - On the profile page, locate the section labeled "Avatar" (about half way down the page). - Press the "Browse" button and locate/select the graphic (on your computer) - Press the "Save" button on the bottom of the profile page. That should do it. Your graphic will be pending for staff to approve but I think it shows up right away. If it doesn't show immediately, don't sweat it, perhaps it has to be approved by staff first ... I really can't recall. As far as ...
That would be your SIG. You should be able to add one by clicking "Edit Profile" You'll find a block for a SIG in the Forum section of your profile. If you can't figure it out, send me an email with what you want your sig to be and I'll add it for you. As far as inserting pictures, there's instrustions around here some place (in a thread I think). Let me see if I can dig them up .. or I'll write them up again. Either way, I'll have to get back to you on those. Anyway, hopefully something in there helps.
