Porn Billing For many people, using a credit card online is a scary experience. Buying porn on line is even more uncertain. In actuality, it does not have to be. Two trustworthy billing processors are CCBill and Epoch. To my knowledge neither has ever had a data breach or exposed the identity of anyone signing up for a porn site. Epoch is very approachable regarding billing questions and/or problems. CCBill takes the attitude that they are just a processor and if there are problems take them up with the web site. Other than those two there are many smaller companies that also process billing. Mostly they do a decent job, but beware. If anyone starts to get a lot of spam after joining a site, it is generally the biller that sells your email address to spammers. I never sign up for a website that sent me spam, unless it is a site that I was a member of in the past and now has a deal for rejoining. Also you should know that often, but not always, using a small billing company is a sign that CCBill and/or Epoch refuses to deal with that website. Why would a biller refuse someone’s business? In a word it is chargebacks. If you have a problem with a website, take it up with them before you ask your bank to reverse the charge. First, that is just good business ethics and second your email address will end up on a list of customers who are problems. Beware of sites that threaten you with reporting you if you do a charge back though. That generally is a sign that this is a common occurrence for them. A red flag for sure is a website that has a $1 trial that renews at a higher 30 day price than if you signed up without a trial and then proceeds to use a small processor. What often happens is that you seem to never end the trial without incurring the 30 day price. Very convenient for them but bad for you. Another possible red flag is using their own proprietary biller. Generally that is a sign that reputable billers do not want their business. This is by no means a firm rule as many totally reputable websites, such as Kink, use their own biller. They have an incentive as they do not have to pay a fee to an outside company. If you have any doubts as to whether a website is ethically challenged, check their reviews and comments on PU. If you ever feel that you are being taken advantage of or otherwise need a problem resolved, post on PU to let others know. In the past PU/TBP has refused to do business with less than ethical websites, especially if they have shady billing practices. I welcome corrections and additions to this post.

Thank you for the post. It's always good to hear from long time users sharing their experiences and knowledge. I agree with pretty much everything you said, but I would add a couple little things: - As you noted, it's always best to contact the site first if you ever come across an issue. This might sound obvious to some, but many (either due to embarrassment, anger or absentmindedness) simply call their credit card company or leave nasty reviews. Even in this automated age, computers make errors and things that can be solved by a single email can fall through the cracks. Take due process and in most situations the issue will be resolved. - A proprietary biller doesn't have to be a red flag (there are many long standing and reputable sites that handle their own billing), but I certainly understand the apprehension. They typically don't have the customer service apparatus that a giant like CC Bill or Epoch has and that can make some people nervous. Above all else, if you or anyone reading this ever comes across a billing issue with a site, be sure to contact us and we'll look into it. Billing concerns are something we take very seriously and even before RabbitsReviews acquired TheBestPorn/PornUsers both sites worked together to blacklist shady networks that were scamming members in order to protect our readers. When I joined PU many years ago, it was to post a billing complaint. It was never resolved, I am sad to say. I did not have enough experience as to how to handle a problem. Sometimes the internet can be like the Wild West, but in truth you are not really all alone. If you are thinking about joining a reputable website, it is not as dangerous as you might fear. Go for it and let us know what your experience was like. Pick one that is highly rated on PU and you probably be glad that you took the plunge. Thanks MikeC for pledging any help you can provide. I would just like to add. If you want to be anonymous then use a prepaid debit or credit card. There are tons of options. As for me I do not care who knows I watch porn I tell them to their face. Even people I got to church with know I believe in porn. But that is me. If you want to be safe buy a prepaid card. Also when you sign up with a email address there are several "Dark internet" options that cannot be traced. Do not ask me how to access them as I will not respond. But there is a way and if a old man like me can find it anyone can. But obviously you want to use a secondary email address that in no way points to you (Other than IP address which the dark net can take care of). I hope these tips help. With prepaid options you never have to worry about getting screwed out of money or have your stuff thrown in your face. "Hey bob we looked at your company email and noticed you like horses screwing midgets. We have to let you go". Don't be a bob =) 1Ti 6:17 Charge them that are rich in this world, that they be not highminded, nor trust in uncertain riches, but in the living God, who giveth us richly all things to enjoy;

Has anyone had experience with CentroBill as a billing company? There's a site, Alex-Lynn.com, that looks good and uses that company for billing. Thanks. I wanted something new, so I left England for New England.

They have been reliable for me on several different sites. They were the billing company for GermanGooGirls.com when members there could not cancel their re-bills, but those problems seem to be isolated to that site. Better to be pissed on, than to be pissed off.
