Short haired porn stars Short haired models have always been the exception in porn. For some reason, the vast majority of people seem to prefer long hair. Nothing wrong with that of course, but I still think that short(er) hair can be quite hot. I'm not talking about bald or the army cut. Fromt he top of my head, there are just a few names to mention: Ash Hollywood, Kate England... that's about it. What is your opinion? Do you like short hair too? Any other names? | |

I agree that short hair models are not well represented in porn but is it possible that it's simply because most women prefer to have hair of a certain length. I'd also like to add that short hair, in my humble opinion, is not something most women can pull off. You definitely need to have a specific facial shape for it to look good. I really like the look of short hair on a girl, it's a real turn-on for me. Too many girls in porn just have long, straight hair and they kind of meld together, no matter how beautiful they are. A case in point: At ATK Hairy a while back, a model with a buzz cut (Riley Nixon) did a few really nice sets and vids, and a lot of her comments were in the vein of "pretty girl, too bad about her hair." Her buzz cut really made this pretty girl stand out, and I collected everything I could of her. I agree with pat362 in that not every girl looks good with short hair, it's largely a matter of framing her face with an attractive hairstyle. I think there may be some fear of being seen as too "butch" or maybe not being appealing to the majority of porn consumers. A real shame there aren't more women in porn with short hair. Belladonna is amazing and her short hair is hot. Sinead rocked that full on Sigourney Weaver shaved head, and it was kind of hot too. Better to be pissed on, than to be pissed off. | |

I agree. Certain facial and/or head characteristics make the difference. For instance, Emma Mae looked good in short hair when she started out; the longer hair she has now seems to go better with the way she has changed. Carli Banks is a good example of a girl who looked good with shorter or longer hair. But frankly, I wouldn't want for quite a few models to get their hair cut shorter than shoulder length. I wanted something new, so I left England for New England. | |

Lily Labeau does it for me. After she shaved her head and her hair started to grow back she looked amazing with short hair. Not the buzz cut look, but when it had a bit of length and fullness to it. | |

Lily is always great, long or short hair. She consumes a healthy portion of my hdd space. It's a shame that she is basically out of the biz these days. I agree with most of the posters. Yes, it takes a certain type of girl to make short hair look good. Then again, there are many girls out there who COULD try it, but never do. | |
