Actress Famke Janssen overdoing plastic surgery. I just watched the movie Primal, with Nicholas Cage and Famke Janssen. I thought the femaie actress was familiar, but was hoping it was not Famke Janssen. Then I checked IMDB, and it was Famke Janssen. But her face looks like a different person. She used to be gorgeous. As a James Bond villainess, Xenia Onatopp. Even a couple of years ago she was still attractive, in her 50s. But what makes women destroy their natural beauty through plastic surgery, hoping to retain their youth, and turning their faces into masks? A real shame. People age with time, and they need to accept it. It seems harder for women to accept the changes, than for men. It must be a cultural effect. But it's god dam dangerous, to let plastic surgeons turn a woman's face into a mask. | |

I'm afraid you are preaching to the wrong group. Famke belongs to that rarified group of individuals who live and die with their looks and she is a 56 years old woman working in an industry where youth is probably the most important thing to have and when nature does what it does then you start relying on science to alter what time does and it's often more miss than hit. She looks about the same she did in Hansel & Gretel and that movie is 7 years old now. Long live the Brown Coats. | |

Pat, have you seen any movies with Famke Janssen in the last year or two? Her face is now a plastic mask. I don't agree that she looks the same as she did 7 years ago. When I saw the movie Primal, released in 2019, I did not recognize her. I thought she looked familiar, but didn't know who she was. ^I saw Primal which is the movie you referred to. Is it possible that you hadn't seen her in long time? Now I'm not going to claim that her choice of facial surgery aren't grim looking but she had already done some work before recent time so I knew what to expect. Long live the Brown Coats. | |

Pat, you're right. I hadn't seen Famke in years. I still remember her from Rounders, the Matt Damon poker movie, where I thought she was freaking attractive. And I probably saw her in some X-Men movies, as well. Sad, to see her recent appearance. | |
