For all those who want to join a pay site but have no major credit card I didn't have a major credit card for years and I was limited to surfing free thumbnail posts and we all know how bad they suck. Then one day I got this brilliant idea: I'll buy a gift credit card and be able to join any site I want. Not exactly...most of the great sites won't accept the prepaid cards; I don't know why but they won't. Here's some sites that you can join using the throw away credit cards (Master Card or Visa): Karups PC, Karups HA, Karups OW, FTV and Suze Randall. You can also mail in a subscription via "snail mail" to Twistys or any of the Karups sites. If anyone else out there knows of any other sites that accept gift credit cards or mail-in subscriptions please post here, let's save our fellow porn loving brothers and sisters from the hellish world of free thumbnail posts. 6 pack bitches, deal with it Edited on Dec 22, 2010, 10:11am | |

Some programs also accept 1-900 as a charge as well. Ive often wondered if users were patient enough to snail mail a check or money order to get access at a substantially reduced rate. Thoughts? | |

The first pay site I ever joined was Twistys and I snail mailed them a money order, it took roughly a week and a half and they gave me an additional month for free, don't know why, maybe because I was patient enough to mail in my payment. 6 pack bitches, deal with it | |

Just wanted to point out there is a difference between gift cards and prepaid credit cards (the former often has no name associated with it, and is purchased once and discarded, the latter being a somewhat permanent reloadable option where they will usually send you a card with your name on it). I'd be surprised if any company would decline a prepaid card registered to you with your address, how would they know it was a prepaid rather than regular credit card? I have a prepaid Visa, and it has never been declined in the sixth months I've had it - the only irritating thing is it has a monthly service charge of $1 and it costs $2 to reload it. That's good to know if I ever go back on the "bad credit" xlist and my card gets revoked. I only tried the gift cards, I didn't realize there was a difference between the two. CCBill won't accept the gift cards and that's the major biller for all the good sites. 6 pack bitches, deal with it | |

I'm no expert, but I suspect the reason some sites tell the processors to refuse the prepaid cards is that there is an assumption that such a card isn't usually "refilled"......they want a REAL credit/debit card, attached to a bank account because they make all their real money in the monthly re-billing, not in a one-shot guy who is gone after a month. As for the discount for paying cash, that's obvious. Companies like Visa and MasterCard charge merchants a HUGE up-front fee (four thousand dollars or more) just for the privelage of being able to accept payment from the cardholders....and there is a nice chunk of each and every transaction taken right out, it goes to Visa, every time you use the card. Every merchant in the world, from the corner store to internet porn, would prefer actual cash. Credit card companies are very, very greedy. People should clearly understand the distinction between debit cards and actual Credit Cards. When you pay for a site subscription and there is a problem, you have some recourse if you used an actual Credit Card. If they keep billing you after you cancel, for example, you can call up the bank and dispute the charge. You don't have that luxury with a debit card. The best you can do is report the card lost, close your bank account, and immediately open a fresh checking account.....they can't bill what no longer exists! | |
